    I recently got one of these finally, and I love it. I've got the upgrade valve but haven't installed it yet.
    With this setup, don't they make an adapter that removes the original 2x Co2 tube?
    Can the stock fit over the 88g cart?

      Greetings my friend. The upgraded valvehousing is great. Mine now gives over 50 joule. In this video I was hoping to get more power simply by putting the 88 gram CO2 in the rear of the 12 gram tube. That didnt work well. For max power buy the new 88 gram valve housing from www.homedefence-24.com/de-no/products/hdx68-druckgehause-plug-an-play-88g-40j?_pos=3&_sid=f79386129&_ss=r

It blows projectiles hard AF, like 400-500fps with the 88g, if i use 2x co2 adapter i get cca 30-40J.. the blast is insane, you know you can kill a man with a 20g ball bearing shatter a bone, insane gun.. That's home defence tool, not the 16J, or the 8.. You just piss a man off with that, robs you even harder, steals your socks and your shotgun😀

    I am not a fan of HPA for many reasons. So I agree with you. For me, I like to conceal carry. And you can’t with HPA. I understand guys that can’t own firearms where they live. So they need HPA for maximum protection.

    Another suggestion is: there is a small gauze at the bottom of the co2 tube. In mine it was loose so I removed it. Don’t have a crony to test but could that cause a power difference?

    Thanks for the shout outs. All of those channels I subscribe to. Such a great community here.
    I saw the video that Noob posted about his accident and man does that suck! I wish him a full and fast recovery! That unit in the pics/video he posted looks like from behind the bolt to the valve is where the unit came apart.
    I am a Noob on steroids and do appreciate all the info here and in the community. These as well as all units under pressure or powder need safety 1st. Shooting glasses at a minimum!
    I commented on his channel about psi of these CO2 cannisters and it would appear that the psi isn't much different at 850 to 900 psi for a 12 gram and 900 to 1100 for an 88 gram. Your thoughts other than air temp being a factor? It is interesting that the HDX doesn't provide the same jump in power but is heavier built than the HDB. I had a HDX on order and cancelled it when the HDB landed. I have 2 1 modified and was going to try HPA. Not now?
    I have the HPA in a modded HDR 68 for 6 months now no issues. DK put it together. My 1st T4E is a HDR 50 modded but I have only ran CO2 it.
    Last thing...I bought a Umarex Notos PCP .22 It seems to be a well built unit and for what it has for feature and what it costs. $ 269 with 700 fps will take down any small pest at 30 yards and is very accurate for target and plinking with a moderator.
    SKOL!
    Be safe everyone!

    • @runerebel8441
      @runerebel8441  Рік тому +1

      Thank you my friend. Iam very glad you like my videos. I think the reason for NOOB accident was stress in the CO2 tube. He had filled it a few weeks ago to 2000 PSI on accident. The gun didnt breake then but it could have weakend it. It was the CO2 tube that blowed out he told me. I have seen several videos where folks put 1100 PSI in their markers without any problems, but it might be risky. I think I will only use max 850 PSI if I use HPA in them. On a warm day CO2 can give ca 1100 PSI max from what Iam told so the markers should be able to handle it. I saw a video a few years ago where a guy had his HDR50 blow to pices with CO2, so you never know with these types of guns... The HDX has a thin brass tube from the CO2 canister to the valve. This limmits the amount of CO2 and the power it can give. My HDX has given 43 joule when I tested it back in august, but it was warmer then and I used aluminium balls. I will make more videos testing it out. No need to buy the HDX if you have the HDB 😉. Airguns are fun to. Take care my friend and happy shooting. Cheers from Norway SKÅL 😃👍🍺

    Wow not the results i was expecting either. The only that i did different according to the internet was my restrictor is installed backwards. Could that be the difference I am not sure. I have some 90g co2 coming this week i will retry. It did start winding up at the end 🧐
    One other thing it could be the pin valve adapter limiting the fill of the existing 2x12 chamber and why it took so long to power up. I use a Pepperball on/off and it has no such pin it is just full open or closed based on the valve.

    • @runerebel8441
      @runerebel8441  Рік тому +1

      Yes its very strange. It started out at just 194 fps and gave 283 fps max. So ca 37 joule on a few shots before dropping down again after I closed the pinvalve. Back in august when I got 43 joules from it I used aluminium balls. Maybe thats a reason? Plus colder here now. I shot 25 shots in this video and it used ca 30 gram CO2. I think you are right abouth the pinvalve. It only trickels in the CO2. It took several seconds before the marker charged and the pressure indicator popped out 🤔. If you can redo the test it would be great 🙂👍

The gas flow has problems for a unknown reason. Probably the gas chamber is too big because normally the 88g goes directly at the 40j version and in the 16 or 7.5 you have cartridges in the tube. I sent them 3 messages on how to connect it but they are not responding to my messages. I need help because this is already disappointing, they have a conversion kit for the HDX but the thread on the rifle does not match the one on the regulator.

    Just a thought about the power fluctuations.. I do wonder if it makes any difference depending on how long you keep the trigger depressed after each shot. I would assume the gun resets immediately after a shot is fired. But if there was even the smallest of time difference, could it allow more gas through?. Easy way to test is to fire and once shot, keep trigger pulled back until it’s obvious no gas is still coming out. See what the power figures are. Then do the same but releasing the trigger immediately after shot fired. Just an idea but you never know.

    • @runerebel8441

      I can try it but I doubt it will help. The trigger resets when firing, so keeping it in should not matter. But I will try and see 😃

    Just an idea based on my experience with PCP air rifles; 2 way valve (if that is indeed what is installed) too much pressure would cause it not to open fully or for the necessary time duration to allow enough gas into the system, and so low results initially with a gradual creep up to ideal pressure, then again dropping as the Co2 begins to deplete and cannot sustain adequate pressure levels. With x2 12g capsules, the pressure is more or less ideal for the valve settings and so you tend start at optimal settings and end low following a fairly linear downward curve. The way around this in a PCP gun is to increase the hammer spring tension which allows more gas through at higher pressures, however I don't recognise anything familiar from the internals of these things, and can't really see any way of adjusting. I may be completely wrong but just thought it might be worth considering!

    • @runerebel8441
      @runerebel8441  Рік тому +1

      Yes. For a PCP that is how its done. I have tinkered a lot with PCP guns some years back. The valve system is completly diffren in these T4E markers. They normaly work on the spool valve design, so there is no hammer spring to change. It has a valve/bolt spring but its not something I will tinker with. The easiyest way is to open the volume inside the valve plus increase the flow of CO2. But its not so easy to work on the HDX...

      @@ScaredyCatTactical you're right, but as we saw exactly in the past what happened to simple paintball guns and what we have today from it... there's always someone who wants more for whatever reason. I think we are at a point where it's enough modified and with more we will leave the already reached grey zone where less lethal loses the "less" for sure. Up to 70j in case of the HDB or just the arrows for the HDR/ HDS what already at 11j is not so less lethal anymore.

    Too bad,that someone hasn't figured out a way to refill those 88 gram bottles.
    A valve and a foster fitting.

    Why are you holding it so close? I'm watching so many videos and I'm trying to get AU. Yes.
    Version of how powerful this thing is. And maybe this is a European version that I came across. Because everybody's putting power boosters on them and mod kids to make them more powerful. I don't understand Jules. And I can't find a video where somebody actually does. Ballistic testing on this or shoots from a 1015 foot distance to 20 which would be a real life scenario. If you were really trying to shoot someone with it, see what type of damage it will cost to like a watermelon or pumpkin and the stock. I don't know what's going on with that. Why it hangs out so far? And you don't have it up on your shoulder. I believe it does collapse. The real one does anyway. If you know anything about this, Shotgun, that you're using. Maybe not the same model. That's all metal we get in the u. Yes. There's a power upkit for it if that's just for you guys. Because they kind of make you kinda like it. Paintball tournaments tune the guns down so you can have them which makes no sense. I literally have a $30 brake barrel Browning. Mark 5 pistol with AJSB. Pellet slug. I promise that I can crack somebody's skull. Or do Larry painful damage if I hit them in the face from any distance. With those and don't get me started with the break barrel 22 rifles here I got a bunch of them off gamo. A while ago for a third of the price, they were new/refurbished recertified, and the one that's supposed to be the most powerful break barrel rifle. I have 2 of them. One of them has the suppressed barrel. I think that's the whisper, something and the other one I can't remember. A similar but is supposed to be more powerful with a regular metal barrel. I don't have a chronograph but I know that within a 50 yd distance. It does if not as much or more damage than my actual 22 firearm. Rifle would do and I took a gammo camo that I got for 80 bucks U. Yes. Brand new off their website. Actually, that's probably one of my favorites and it was the cheapest because it's ridiculous neon camo orange. Anyway, my point, it has competition style. Ghost brings with tridium or I can throw An optic from my long rifles that are Pretty much made to be shot between 35 up to one of them. A 1000 yd with the rifle that's a higher caliber. Or I can use a medium size scope and smack a 150 yd away. Metal plates with that gamma camo with A32 grain. I think or 30 something green. Either 8 to 9 or JSB Diablo. And from about 50 yd, one night. I shot it at the stop sign at the end of the street. I don't know why it was loud s*** I had to hurry up and run around the side of the house. Cause it was dark lol, because the neighbors and. S*** turn their lights on and it's a state park for a backstop. So there was no danger of hidden anything anyway. I looked at it the next day. And it was stuck into the sign. Look like it went about halfway through crazy. The power of these things have, but if you're in the break barrel rifles and you just want to cheap. Very powerful 22 rifle. The gamma website has the gammo camo, far 99 or less brand new, and it is besides my whisper and the other ridiculous. One that's supposed to be the most powerful. I think it's called the swarm magnom. And a swarm fusion whisper they are. Between those 2, the gammo camo. Maybe because the barrel is not suppressed. Or it's just a louder gun because the.
    Metal barrel, no suppressor and it's single shot. Unlike the other 2, so they're more accurate as well. And because they don't get broke as much. There seem to be more powerful than for me. And the umbrex trevox pistol, if you don't have one of those, get 1 that is literally a break rifle and a pistol size. I have the Franklin whatever trail. Ridiculous robocop pistol that says it shoots 7 to 800 feet per second and the trails shoots 600 the tray box. Is a tack driver and will destroy the Benjamin and power distance precision everything but anyway, enjoy sorry about the rat. I got excited thinking about how it gones until it done days and getting back into it and God carried away e b safe, happy shooting

      Thanks. Iam glad you like the video. This was just a test to see if I could get more power from it using the 88 gram CO2 tank, just screwing it on the end of the CO2 tube. Didnt work so well. No gain in power as I could see. I have now put on the 88 gram CO2 valvehousing from HD-24 and get ca 50 joule from that marker. So with powertuning it can be made more powerful. But its a lot of work to do so and its alweays a risk breaking something. Take care and stay safe my friend. Greetings from Norway😃
