A beautiful apartment in Paris is something we all dream of. A bohemian retreat, full of character and charm. Here, designer David Jimenez inspires us with his interiors while sharing his secrets for how to decorate like a Parisian.
Interior designer David Jimenez has lived and worked in Paris for years, where he’s celebrated for his beautifully livable interiors. With a classic and modern style, Jimenez creates the type of chic French-influenced interiors that so many of us aspire to.
In these pages, Jimenez imparts ideas and inspiration for how we can design our own space for comfort and style, layer with textures and colors, and artfully arrange collections of art, collectibles, and books.
The book contains a how-to section sharing Jimenez’s tips for decorating in the French style, including chic paint colors and setting an elegant table, along with inspiring entries on where to soak up the best design in Paris. Also included is a source section of Jimenez’s favorite flea markets, antiques dealers, and art galleries in Paris and New York.
With beautiful images and inspiring texts, Parisian by Design is a dream for style Francophiles or anyone looking to artfully decorate their home, wherever they may live.

I have to admit I have not bought a Rose Forever bouquet yet. I want to. In a way I want blue roses for my blue bedroom. A Pink bouquet for the pink bedroom, and Two for the tables in the sunroom/dining room. So my problem is deciding what is my favorite to start with, not getting everything all at once! I would love a white bouquet for my white creche I keep out year round. I do not want a simple bouquet. I want the mounded bouquet. Variety is the spice of life? With a collection, one must begin!

Hello ! I too have a lot of copper, we find it easily here in junk shops and markets. When I find the right shape and quality I send it to a company that makes it like new, polishes the outside and re finishes the inside ready for cooking. It cost about 30 euros per casserole, I found a large gorgeous frying pan in a charity shop for ten euros as someone had painted the handle with thick brown paint (!) so I used stripper and it was easy. The inside was like new. I usually give my extra copper to 'Manor & Maker ' ( who you can find here on YT ). I sent her (Sara) a link to your channel and she loves it, like so many of us. I have a product here in France called 'Eau Japonaise' that takes off the tarnish with almost no effort, it de-oxidises in short. No idea if you can find it under another name but for all tarnish metals it's fantastic. It is smelly and you need gloves. Lovely post again ! xo

Thanks you so much for your kind comments! I have a lot of thoughts on rude people. Sometimes people are unintentionally rude and I understand this, it can happen to us all at one time or another. If someone is inept once I try to overlook it. If the insults or digs continue I might say, "good décor is subjective, but good manners are not". Also, don't be afraid to tell them that their comments hurt your feelings. If they have any decorum at all they should understand. You are not too sensitive. 💗

Save yourself a lot of energy when cleaning your copper. All you need is salt and a bottle of lemon juice. Pour the salt on the area. Then pour about a tablespoon of lemon juice into the salt. Rub with a paper towel or a cotton cloth. It's magic.
For silver, it may be difficult to clean the larger pieces, but this is how I clean my Tiffany silver jewelry. Line a container on the inside completely with aluminum foil. Line the entire bottom with baking soda. Place the silver in the container, on top of the baking soda.pour boiling water into the container. Watch the chemical reaction. Remove in about 60 seconds to 1 1/2 minutes.
