Anyone, who has lived around Nashville, TN will attest that it is one of the most beautiful places to live. I just discovered the videos of Patina Farms in Ojai, California. I was shocked to learn they sold the property to move across country as their home and gardens seemed so lovingly cultivated and curated through many years. I couldn't imagine giving it up and never did find what motivated them to sell and move. Thank you for the book reviews. I love them all.

Next time I am going to order ingredients from Amazon! I couldn't find the right chocolate at some of the stores I shop at! I am looking forward to making it today because I have everything! What a challenge! Oh, and I love the book and I am sure I will get the book. I have a lot of shells and the places to put them are great ideas.
I'm sorry it was difficult getting the ingredients. I often shop at Fresh Market for special baking items, but my grocery store {Harris Teeter} had all these ingredients. I hope you like it.
I love this couple and have been following patina farm on Instagram for years. They have so many wonderful farm animals which they totally relocated all of them from California to Tennessee. (With no lossThey take such loving care of your animals and they are pure vegetarian and during lockdown., Brooke shared many nice recipes on her Instagram. Thank you for sharing this.

In Greece we use to create this dessert in log shape and cut it in slices. We call it salami log. We don't use the icing tho. Growing up as a kid it was my everyday treat
Such a wonderful book, it seems so many creative people get their inspiration from a childhood memory or influence such as the plaster company Steve’s father and grandfather owned. If I were ever fortunate enough to write a book it would be because of the walks my grandmother and I had through the gardens of my childhood where we would plant seeds and pick small bouquets with sometimes just a few apple blossom branches. Thank you so much, I hope you are feeling better. The cake looks wonderful and since I am a chocoholic I will be making it tomorrow. 🌺🕊

Moving camera down and up up and down is very DISTURBING.Eyes don't do that,they take in the whole pi cture , Rather than concentrating on the whole picture, the camera concentrates on OBJECTS,zooming on faucet ,on basket on vases etc.Yes, objects are part of the decor , BUT PART Is depriving the viewer from THE WHOLE
