Added note: Learned SOOOOO MUCH from you today. I’m now hitting it! Changing all those interior lights in my Jeep Renegade TODAY because of your instructional video (not afraid of those hand grip lights now). KEEP THESE VIDEOS COMING! You tell it like it is and step by step and NO CHIT-CHAT as others waste out time with. You get to the job, tell us the do’s & don’t in great detail. If you goof (break something) we ALL learn it can be a ‘red flag’ item to watch for.
The grip lights look intimidating until you start removing them and realize how easy that really was. Thanks again man! I will definitely keep making new videos.
I speak FROM EXPERIENCE. Watched about 5 of these ‘overhead interior light panel’ removal videos and BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE, the front tabs on the Jeep Renegade are EXTREMELY FRAGILE. I broke the right one (even after hearing all the instructions of ‘pull straight down, don’t worry’ PLEASE USE CAUTION). I like one video that said, “as you pull down insert a wood dowel and go to the next position, pull down gently and insert another wood dowel. Once you get all around, THEN pull straight down and it should be very easy with this system.” IT IS! It was great that he also snapped one and doing the SuperGlue/Gorilla glue fix. I DID FIND THIS VIDEO EXTREMELY HELPFUL - KEEP EM COMING I THANK YOU!!!
As a former Master Level car audio installer, every time you twisted with the tool I puckered. Best way to do it my man is use the tool in your left hand to start to seperate the trim piece from the headliner, then with your Right hand work your fingers under while applying downward pressure, allows you to see what clips are holding the trim bezel in place and to also apply most of the force with your left hand and not the tool which could cause indentations in the headliner and or ripping the fabric. This can be applied to anything you are using those tools for, thanks for the Vid and the link, I have just ordered the bulbs and will be replacing them when they arrive. Hope this helped either you or someone else from possible future headaches. (SIDE NOTE) Finger Oils etc will not bother LED's especially not low powered ones such as these, maybe just to be safe I would not touch the headlight bulbs but then again they are way more powerful.
Just did my interior lights while waiting to clock in. I don't have a sunroof so I had just 1 domelight in the back. Was probably the easiest one to be honest lol! All looks great though!
Thanks for all your videos, they helped me out alot! The front interior lights has me worried to try and change, my luck I'll break all four off lol. BTW don't forget to get the glove box light too!
Another great video bro!! Man I just want you to know how much I appreciate the RC lift install video yall did. Me and my grandpa watched that video I can't tell you how many times while installing my RC lift and Eibach pro lift springs on my 2020 renny sport two weekends ago. Took us 14 hours total and was well worth it!! Thanks again man I watch all your renegade videos!! I'll upload a short video to my UA-cam if you want to check my renegade out🤘🏻🤙🏻
Great video! Any idea how to replace the lights inside the door cup holder area? mine went out on my drivers side last night… now I want to replace everything because of this video :D
Been following you led conversion videos and love them! One question though, is it possible to do the brake lights, turn signals, etc? Or even the front turn signals?
As for as what I've seen. They do make a front LED turn signal with built-in resistors. I have yet to find break lights that can do the same with out throwing a code.
I know this isn’t the the speaker videos but do you recall if the front dash speakers and the door speakers use the same adapter wires? Thanks for your videos!
Oh ok, So what's happening is the LEDs have residual current going through them. Sometimes the lights don't even need to be on first, they just slightly glow. It will not drain your car battery.
Do you get codes for the LEDs? Also, I want to add a second trunk cargo light and a 12v outlet, can you find out where the 12v is fused to? I think it’s somewhere in that rear fuse panel but I’m not sure.

The overhead console was a pain in my ass to get down. Everything else was super easy. Awesome videos dude.
I do agree, Chris, and the instructions manual is badly lacking details that kinda little things...

I'm glad you found my video useful and thanks for the support
I just got mine off with a flat skinny wrench, screwdriver and patience which I'm always low on.. no problems went great!
Patience is everything

Hey buddy appreciate the input for myself and others! Hope ur install goes well.
I use UV resin for plastic repairs - a bit pricey, but well worth it for the strength. You can build up layers as you go.

Recently got my renegade and I’m glad I found ur channel
Thank you we appreciate it!

I honestly forgot about that light. Thank you!
No Problem! I stumbled across that light when I did my cabin air filter change. It's the same exact bulb as the interior lights that you swapped out.
Awesome! I'll definitely do that one as well
YOU MAKE IT LOOK EASY,BUT I DON’T HAVE YOUR SKILLS SO I GIVE YOU A BIG 1 0!
Ty for this, the lighting inside is pretty dim, will be doing this!!
Did the back and doors led swap as a primer...Wish me luck on the front seat lights. Hopefully I don't break any clips. Appreciate the vid!

I really appreciate your support! And its good to hear some feedback from my viewers. I would love to check out your Renny!
love the stuff you upload, makes me want to start doing some mods to my renegade
You should! As you can tell I do alot of easy cheaper mods. Besides the lift kit of course.
Can you make a video how to replace the subwoofer on the jeep renegade
And what about the glove compartment?, and sun visors? 🤔
I have separate videos on those. Go check it out under the Renegade Playlist
Thank you!✌
Great video! Any idea how to replace the lights inside the door cup holder area? mine went out on my drivers side last night… now I want to replace everything because of this video :D
I've honestly never considered those lights. Might be worth looking into.
Thank you soo much it was very helpful
Your welcome, glad to help!

any idea about the door light that shines in the door cubby? Noticed mine was out yesterday.
I know this isn’t the the speaker videos but do you recall if the front dash speakers and the door speakers use the same adapter wires? Thanks for your videos!
They do not unfortunately. I believe I have to the different adapters lined in the discretion of both videos.
How long does the after glow last once the lights are off?
A few minutes. 10 at the most
Are the same LEDs for the overhead and the back seats? T10?
My dome lights by my rear view mirror are always on but not bright as when you push the button. What’s wrong?
Do you have LEDs? If so then it's called "afterglow," nothing to worry about.
@@AdventureGT Yes, I bought the ones you installed that’s listed under your video.

No codes what so ever. I believe the fuse is in the back on the LH side. You'll have to open it end and check to make sure.
@@AdventureGT I think so too just don’t know which one. Thanks man. I’ll take a look.
Is there anywhere else on the jeep these LED lights will fit? I only needed three so I have a ton left!
I believe that's it. Extra extra spares I guess lol
can you post a link for the lights 👀
The link is in the discretion.
Is this the same for mostly all renegades?
Yes
What year is yours?
2017 latitude
The clicking noice always gets me nervous lol
You're not wrong lol
Ruined your plastic 2:43
