My Cherokee Trailhawk is at the dealership getting the PTU replaced, so they gave me the Renegade as a loaner. The PTU is very very back ordered, so I’ve have it for 2 months and they just told me it will be at least another month, so I have been able to get pretty familiar with it. Here are my thoughts. I actually don’t mind the size. Yes it has a lot less room than my Cherokee, but in some cases that is a benefit. The fuel economy is much better. I drive in town just about all day and I get between 25-26 mpg. I think l that is actually pretty good! Offroad it’s actually a little trooper! I’m surprised how well it sucks up the bumps! The only downside I would say I’ve noticed is the power. It can be pretty gutless! When I punch it, because I need it to go, it really disappoints. All together I think it’s a pretty cool little vehicle.

Hello ! I noticed on some YT video some SC XRT have the DLR's (daylight) flashing and lighting in a cool pattern, from right to left. Any idea how they do that ?

Interesting video. Bunch of thoughts: 28 mpg average is respectable for an AWD with a RTT! Sucks about the drone wreck. At least it was a good shot? Most modern cars have a "prime" feature. Stand on the gas pedal and hit the start button. It should just crank with no fuel. Just a heads up: Regularly doing this is considered bad form. The pump is cooled by the fuel running through it so running it dry is hard on it. Fuel pumps ain't cheap!

Hey, I really enjoyed this video! It's great that you make videos for fun. I also make videos for fun. Here's a bit of my backstory on how I stumbled across your channel. I stumbled upon your guys' channel back in 2023 when I picked up my first Jeep Renegade. Unfortunately, 6 months later my Renegade was murdered by a rogue deer. I love'd that renegade so much that my local dealer had a brand new orange one for sale which I was going to purchase. Ultimately another dealership had a 6-speed manual transmission two-door Jeep Wrangler which I eventually purchased instead. But the story doesn't end there my girlfriend has a keen eye for taste as well so she ended up selling her Pontiac and bought the orange Renegade. Anyway, I enjoy the content keep up the good work you guys.

Great video! Trying to decide on AT or AS tyres for my 2005 Forester 2.0X. Currently swaying towards a decent set of All Seasons instead of AT's, more for daily driveability, fuel economy and more suitable for UK climate. I like the idea of getting a set of ATs that would make more off road trails accessible, but given my forester is bone stock and unraised, the benefits of AT's is probably not worth the trouble (and reduced mpgs!)? With tyre tech improving I wouldnt be surprised if a decent set of AS arn't that far off in terms of off-road/muddy performance of a standard AT...

i think ppl need to realize not all cars just blow up cuz they’re bad cars, some cars just require a little extra love like the renegade, just keep up with the maintenance it’s not one of those cars u can go months without taking care of it properly

You can get a manual renegade in the states but with the 1.4t awd or front. I’m looking at getting one. But the manual only come is the sport or the latitude models

I always wanted to set my Gladiator up for overlanding but moving across the state, home restoration on this new to us 1870's house and work trips just kept me from doing it. Plus, other hobbies too. I like this setup. I saw another guy and put a rack on the back and had a big wraparound awning as well. I did get the roof cross bars with mine but haven't put them on yet.

Interesting video. I just traded my 2020 Gladiator Rubicon for a 2025 XRT. It was hard to do as I dearly loved my Jeep and all of the upgrades I had done to it but it was the right choice at this time. I don’t get snow in the coastal plains of NC but was hoping to drive it on the beach. A little worried now about the sand.

My 2016 latitude is damn near perfect. It's super comfortable for a sub-compact, easy to drive, and way bigger than it would seem. They really screwed up getting rid of it.

Hey brother how you doing I just came across your channel. Like the vehicle it looks amazing. Brother I got a 22 Jeep renegade is a latitude 4 x 4. Can't complain I love my car. Quick question does the lift kit. That you have. Does it gives you any issues when you are driving in the highway gas mileage wise and is it worth it. I do a lot of fishing and hunting but I do Uber in my car?

Where did you get those anchor points that are on the bed?

Compass, renegade, and Cherokee all served that same purpose and target demographic. It’s sad to see it go but they just needed to clean up the lineup. Now they need to focus on making a reliable 4 cylinder
