I'' a 78 year old granny from New Mexico, USA. I thiink I'd have a heart attack if I found as many gorgeous treasures as you lads find! Keep the vids coming!!
Great to see you and the the boys out & about. Nothing wrong with carrying on like a six year old when out being a “Rock Emu”, helps the time go by. Amazing that Locky found the “agates” that go with the “ whilly chalcedony”. So many new fossicking terms I’m yet to learn.😂😂
Your finds are stunning. Your comradery is fantastic. The philosophy bit are great. Thank you for sharing. I read one of the comments from a 78 yr old from New Mexico. I'm going to be 62 in July and a great grandma in September. I'm I live way up north in CA, almost to Oregon. We have beach agates, jasper and other bits. I found one about as wide as 3 of my fingers as was on top of the world. Lol. Nothing compared to what you youngsters find or the ones found in Montana, etc.. If I wasn't disabled and could afford it, I would travel with my 14 yr old granddaughter as she is a rock hound also. Thanks to all of you out there sharing, we get to see amazing beauty from all over the world.
I really enjoyed seeing the guys one after another, after another, showing their treasures. Made for a fast moving, enjoyable video!👍🇺🇸 Don't make us wait so long for the next!😉👍🇺🇸
That was wonderful! You guys always seem to have the most fun together too. Nothing like good friends and beautiful agates! Those were some definite chunkers and gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!
Loved this last video! Loved the beauty and the playfulness you bring to your videos. I am a 68 year old retired art teacher who has been a rockhounder since I could stand. I love being able to go along with you when I can't be outside! Could you please put a link to you friend's videos so that we can watch different views of the same adventure? You are all awesome!
Just love your videos. I would love to go on a rock hounding adventure with you and your mates my husband and I love live rock hounding. Best adventure is being out in nature fining nature's treasures.
All sorts of great finds! And that scenery!! 🤩 2:13 looks like something we call Beekite that's fairly common here in Central Kentucky. I love the swirly textures!
LIZZY! yes! You still call me Maverick! I honestly can’t say thank you enough for your constant support and I can’t tell you how much, when I see your comment, I feel like it’s a family member saying hi 🙏😊 thank you Lizzy 😊
Hiya Jessie, awesome video mate. You all found some beautiful stones, agates and jasper and I can't forget Petrified wood. A friend sent me some pictures of Black Cockatoos, they are so beautiful, I'm glad you got too get them on film, while they were chasing each other. Love the videos mate. I'm glad your doing well mate. I hope you have a awesome blessed day mate. Cheers! Cya! 😺🐟 out!
I havent been out hounding in forever. I love northern nsw and seq but my mates arent as keen on rocks as I am and the mrs wont let me go alone 😂 between a rock and a hard place they say. Ill live vicariously through you for now.
Great morning there, love the finds. Good to see you, mate. And that was chalcedony, but you need some extra minerals, pressure and heat to get fire agate. ❤
Nice finds!! Gotta say I am envious that u have such a fun looking bunch of rock hounding friends. In fact when I watch anyone's rock hounding vids really! I hope one day I can meet ppl with this interest. For now I'm a lone wolf! Cheers to the lone hounders out there lol.
Jess find saginite and you will find fire agate there has to be some down there also. I even saw a report that there is fire agate in Australia. Thanks for the video, its always a privilege to watch your videos! Cheers!
Wohoo fella's - I recently went to a new spot and got some goodies - glad for you...jealous as all get out by glad! dude, sick, stonkers standard South Pacific rock hounding lingo lol
Dude... what an awesome adventure my friend. That kind of day is something I dream about. So glad to see you out having a blast and finding some sweet treasures. Makes me want to go check out my creeks and rivers. I think I need me a kayak lol Cheers bro 👊😎
Glad to hear back from you. Kinda missed the general sense of amazement at your finds. Myself, while I haven't been traveling a lot lately, work had provided opportunities. Brecciated chert, maybe rhyolite, fossils of all sorts etc. Got to actually work on the stones though.
Hey, I'm actually so glad that I found your channel and so angry that I didn't find it sooner this content is so interesting and I am so excited to be finding rocks and polishing them entreating them and whatever the term is for handling rocks and minerals. And I am extremely jealous that I know for a fact I will never find anything as beautiful as the stuff you find in my backyard
@@Rookie_Rockounding I will be keeping my eye out funny videos I'm extremely excited your content is genuinely so entertaining and educational it feels so good to watch
No clue which one of you three had the best finds.. Bands, color, and "nodules" galore.... Nick's uhm, "stick and nodules" might take the crown as Best Find of the day lol
Oh I know right! He’s just been busy and he’s into his other hobby and being a grandad the last couple years. He’s one of my favourite people on the planet and he’ll be back out one day. It’s just an eb and flow of things but I’ll let him know someones asked about him 😁
JESSE, have you forgotten about me, come on man, I'm not getting any younger and time is on your side not mine. Q, why should you never buy your partner an expensive watch. A, there is a perfectly good time piece on the cooker. lol.
Dude! I can’t laugh at that! Don’t get me cancelled 😂😂😂😂 No no! I absolutely haven’t Symon. Tbh your rhyolite has sat on my kitchen bench for almost a year now and I see it daily hoping you know I’m not a bad person 🤦♂️ especially recently I’ve been in hermit inside my shell mode because of not having my Ritalin for over a month and also just being overwhelmed with work/life and I tend to hide when I get like that. But man I promise that admiration and love is always gonna be there Symon! The longer I take to respond to someone the worse I feel and then the harder it is to reply because in my head they think I’m crap. I’m moving in with my girlfriend this month (was meant to about 3 months ago) and I’m looking forward to being on a better routine and returning to rookie more properly and being more present with everyone here. I promise my brother, I’m looking forward to returning to how I used to be and can’t wait to prove I’m so attached especially to you guys who keep showing up
Jesse, my friend, please don't put yourself down like that, I know you, I know who you are and your character is certainly of good standing with a caring nature, I've seen it and from our lengthy conversations over the years I understood the kind of person you are, if anything I am the strange one, I think everyone who has read my comments in the past went one of two ways , they either laughed at my stupid and sarcastic observations or thought I was not a full pizza, but I can only eat 8 slices that's why I ask them not to cut it into 12 slices! No, the reason for my asking was you seemed taken by Green jasper so I thought I would send you a slice along with some other cabbing slabs. I am reducing my collection and stock and will be going more into faceting pieces for mostly give aways, but as I have so much stock and recently acquired some blue slag glass, I won't say how much it cost but a six pack should cover it, bargain eh. Plus with faceting the items are small and postage will be nominal. Chin up, and the other one, lol. Everything will turn out right, you are a likable fellow with a face fit for radio not movies, just messing. We are all glad you bounced back and found your feet again, that period of adjustment can make or break someone and you have had your fair share of grief, so put on your six shooters, gather up the gang and head for the creek but watch out for those shooting dung, I still say you should put a blanket or similar I a secluded part of a creek , it will trap flour gold etc. For those who don't get the six gun thing, Jesse is originally from America along with his brother Frank, but they didn't really Rob trains, no they chose gas stations. Much respect brother.
I’m a 55 yo woman and have a small collection of ‘pee pee rocks’ and ones that look like dog poop. 😀 My 20 yo son (who named our Wi-Fi network ‘deez nuts’, mind you) is so embarrassed by me. 🤷🏻♀️
Been wondering where you've been, on account o' ya bein' down under an' all, thought you might have dropped off the bottom side o' the world. What a great load of rocks. Did anybody weigh the big ones? Glad you're rockhounding and posting again. Carry on. 🪨💎👍
