Boy that Carnelian Thunder Egg, with waterline and Agate bands is probably the best I've seen. So jealous, breathtakingly beautiful 👍💕💕💕💕💕

Cheeeeeers Karen!
There you are, been missing your joyful face 😊 such a great adventure, well done 💜
Oh thanks Naomi! I’ve been making videos still, I think they just aren’t being shown to everyone unfortunately. Sadly I think UA-cam sorta picks and chooses who it wants to promote sometimes. But hey, I’m glad you caught this one 😊😊😊
Lovely day to kayak guys and such wonderful finds too! WOW Jesse, you had the find of day! Unbelievable!!! ☺️
Such a great day out there Lizzy 😊 have a good week ahead!!!
Awesome video, you guys found some killer material! I love the carnelian!
Wow!Much different than what I find in Arizona, but so spectacular.👍✌
Absolutely beautiful, my friend!
9:25 was a crazy awesome find! Thanks for sharing your adventure with us! :)
Hey cheers Dustin, man I was lucky to have even seen that little bit poppin out I reckon hey. Thanks mate!
Awesome! Glad it was a good turnout! Some of those rocks are real beauties, such a colourful area. Seems like a few other people have found that spot recently, but luckily it’s still relatively untouched compared to just round the bend. The downside of this spot is that the best time to creek fossick is after flooding, but that spot needs time for water levels to settle before it’s even possible to get a kayak up against the currents. So it’s good to see you made it in there before the flood season kicks into gear, even if it meant you had to drag the kayaks a little 😂
Mate i cannot thank you enough. This was genuinely one of my favourite experiences rockhounding that creek. And all thanks to you mate! We’re gonna need to organise a catch up rock hunt with you sometime. The boys and I would love to meet you.
Dang that was an awesome find of the day! Such a joy to watch your adventures!
The multi-colored stone is Fabulous..
That was a great video brotha! What's even cooler is that I was talking to Pauly right before you guys left that day and he said you were going with the kayaks and I just knew this was going to be an epic adventure and it was! I was looking forward to this one... How flippin rad mate! You all found some great ones. I seriously need me some kayaks... Super high five to the crew🙌
Now I got to go check out Pauly's video😉
Cheers
Yeah Pauly told me about the package and it just made me so so happy! He did that all because of the good person you are and he wanted to share. I love the people I’ve met since doing this hey. You guys are true gems!!!!!!! Sendin love a goodness to y’a mar!!!!!
Beautiful place , rocks, friends. Life doesn’t get any better than that. Thanks.
Looked like a fun trip.
Those are some absolute bangers!!! You guys never disappoint.😎 just legendary, good on ya mates.🤓
Nice rocks! I like the one with all the lines on the back of it and that big one you found there towards the end. You'll be going back sometime, of course.
You know we will Roxanna, I think this was just an exploration, some of those banks just need a wash out and I reckon there’s plenary of goodness waiting for us next time 😁
Wow! Incredible scenery. Even if you hadn't found a single gravel bar, it would have been worth the trip just to go exploring. Add those two beautiful carnelians you and Pauly scored and it gets even better. This was a great video! Do keep taking the kayaks to new places!
Very nice place, looks so peaceful and beautiful. So many great finds and 9:41 is just amazing..
Hey thank you mate! 😁👍👍
4:25- Shut the front door 😲 omg🔥
Haha! Right!? 😳✨
Wow what an amazing day! Lovely nodules
Hey thanks guys, thanks for watching 😁
“Giday Jess””, looks like you had a good day, a bit of exercise for the day and bonus, some nice pieces. That piece that Benny found with the pinkish looking chalcedony looks pretty interesting as well. The palm size piece with carnelian is a great looking piece. The piece of flow rhyolite that Pauly found is going to be a nice looking piece as well. Looks like you had a pretty good day, surprised no one ended up in the drink. Keep Safe & Keep Rockin.
Hahaha! Oh man I have to say I was just as surprised no one fell in haha! We even packed dry clothes and towels and didn’t even need them 🤣😂
Hope you’re having a great weekend brother!
@@Rookie_Rockounding Hi Jess, had a quiet weekend at home cleaning the garage, it’s like a hoarders garage, except only half of it is mine, still have stuff from my kids, lots. I thought it was going to rain so instead of going out for a hunt decided to sort things out a bit. Good idea getting into some of those back water creeks. Looking at giving the hinterland a miss for a while and heading either out towards Warwick and try fir som3 Topaz or head to Sunshine Coast hinterland and see if I can find a bit of Jasper. We will see how it pans out over the next month.
Yeah man, I think the hinterland has been tapped out for a fair while hey. I would love to search for topaz! Dude I didn’t realise it was out there 🤦♂️ let me know how you go mate!

Really GREAT adventure, Mate! That looks like some of the greatest fun friends can have. Paddling up the river to the unknown and picking up some real nice material. It seems that you guys are living the Dream! Thanks for sharing, Mate!💎

Looked like great fun out with the guys! That one Thunderegg was pretty amazing!
So happy someone is finding agates, thunder eggs and chalcedony. We find mostly jaspers in Alaska. Beautiful but I wish I could find some agates.
Jesse! What a fantastic video and beautiful end to my workweek.
Heyyyyyyy Dee! I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Honestly carnelian is one of the funnest rocks to experience finding on the creek. It sounds strange but The colour just feels so good 😊
Have a great week ahead my friend! Safety health and happiness to you and yours!!!!
Man, what a fun trip! Woodland Alien Really hooked you up by giving you directions to this heavenly spot- even w/ out the Amazing finds it looked like a gorgeous spot I'd love to kayak thru. But holy moley, those rocks. Carnelian day it seemed like. That rhyolite Pauli thought looked like pet wood was especially pretty, and he made out pretty damn well too! That carnelian You found in the dirt tho Rookie- THAT was the best. I LOVE rocks that have so much simultaneously going on at once. I believe it's far more interesting to look at if there are lots of details that take a while to see all of. That piece of thunderegg toward the end- Wow. Such a fantastic place you get to live! I hope someday I get to see it. 😍
These viedos always bring me such joy... I had taken an uncharacteristic break of about a month from rockhound videos bc I had stuff going on and knew watching em would just make me miss my rocks even more til I could indulge my hobby again- its So good to be back to it! Legit LOLed in delight at your find of the day carnelian!☺
Awesome finds! 🥰

Oh man, thank you Pauly mate. And also I second that Thirst, lucky to have Pauly for a mate the kayaks are just a bonus 🤪
@@Rookie_Rockounding I feel ya man. Some days, you set out in a certain mood. You get there and everything is even more beautiful than you expected. And then you start hitting the rocks like a champion. I know those days brother! They're few and far between, so I'm glad you cherish this one, cuz it was a banger!
Now if I can get you to take a fishing pole with you...fishing and rock hounding🙂. Doesn’t get any better. Where are the crocodiles?🤔. I’ll make it to the Southern Hemisphere someday...That carnelian thunderegg is a great find!
Ha! Waterdog funny part of this is that we were putting the kayaks in as a few other lads were doing the same. Only they took off one direction and we went the other way haha! When we got back to pack up they asked what we caught… hahaha! Sheepishly we had to explain that we weren’t fishing, that we were those weird rock people haha, but the other guys were actually intrigued. But there’s definitely fish out there 😉👍

Fantastic.
Some beauty reds bro! Do you guys not have mozzies? If I were in a swamp like that up here I would be breathing them in. I sure love your videos, they are the hot, tropical counterpoint to my northern climbs. You find those fire colours I do not and oh, how the heart wants what it doesnt have! Come have a look at my last vid, the blues, greens and cold colours I find will complete the spectrum after all your beauty fires. Man, we even posted our vids the same day and I found a blue piece so close to yours its crazy, I need to post a pic in roundtable and you can post your carney next to it. Thanks for another great vid rock brother!
1428 - that is awesome. 😂
Found some nice 👍 ones
Kayaking and rockhounding are totally kissing cousins. I take my little boat down and up the Salt River and parts of the Verde River to all the strands. Those rivers both flow through some very giving mountain ranges and are filled with candy. Man! Now I have to rewrite my schedule to include a river trip.
Oh yeah...SO many beautiful chunks! Seems like an overlooked area.
Dirty Verde represent!! Lived in Paulden at the headwaters and yeah, goodies galore. Cool to hear you've been picking the goods too!
Aren’t they just!? brother I need to buy me a kayak because it was just as good for the soul as hounding is. Doin both of them is like double soul goodness haha!

Helloooo!
Heyyyyy Dakota!!! 😁
Oh no that was a keeper I can't believe he thew that back in who knows what was in the inside.

Suggestions: Move some rock under the one you just found and go a little deeper.
Some related stones/rocks as such tend to be heavier and can be found underneath the one you just found.
Per your cousin from a few videos ago...lol. I'm not a UA-cam star such as yourself and so not able to share pictures unless you have email I can send you a picture of what I have found similar to yours.
This is so true, I’ve been wanting to do a video of just digging sometime to see how we fair, especially in some of the areas that are popular and somewhat picked out. Thank you for the suggestion friend 😁👍
That was awesome! What will you do with giant agate carnelian, it’s beautiful will you cut that? Or keep as is? Can’t wait to see that all cleaned up!
I was wondering the same thing, I’m really not sure but I think that big one I found I’ll probably just give it a clean up, and keep it as is for now. Until I look at it longer 😊
My finds have been good this week...finally some botryoidal chalcedony...pale compared to yours, but beats finding nothing for months..
Heck yeah mate! Lovvvvvve botryoidal pieces! Yew!!!
Hey Jesse, hope the camping was good. Are you allowed to cross states yet? You're in such a beautiful area.
Nice agate trophy you got. I love carnelian so much. What's the green on that awesome carnelian thunder egg? Is there copper in that area? TFS 💖🦅🦅
G’day icatz! Still restricted to this side of the border, you guys will be the first to know when we can get across trust me, I cannot wait! Haha!
I actually don’t know what that green is but I’m with you, I can only really think of copper playing a part in its formation 🤔

Is this a man thing, I don't moisturise, exfoliate, steam clean or use a pressure washer, I know you have a good woman and clever daughter, I have children and a burning desire for the female anatomy plus i'm not curious so your flattery is best directed elsewhere.
Ha ha ha ha, got ya.
You have helped me, just knowing that someone is thinking of me has helped, even if it is a an ozzy barstad.
It's been a struggle just keeping my passion for minerals alive, not working any stones for so long has been a nightmare, but will change very soon.
Thanks buddy.
Poor Pauly. Buy the dude a screen protector. How does he see what he’s taking pics of? 😆
Haha I think we both need some new screen protectors 🤣
🔥
Random question but how to you find these creeks, rivers, etc
So it’s usually through looking up mineral locations on forums or books or even googling rockhounding/fossicking and then your general area. Once you get a spot that has it you can learn about why it has it there and learn more about the creek and explore further in other areas to see if you can find even better, lesser known creeks. But always be sure to know the laws etc.
Hey I have a giant rock of some kind. I don’t know what it is, it’s seems like it’s comprised of several different minerals? Would I be able to send you a picture of it for some guidance? Do I cut it, polish, break? Thanks!

Oh gosh, no we don’t have crocs down this way. I would definitely not be in the water if we did though 😬😬😬
The closest à croc has been sighted near us would be about a 5 hr drive away. But they’re slowly adapting and working their way down the coast line apparently 😖
