One, the parent is absolute. Their will must be obeyed. Two, the master is absolute. You give your life to keep him safe. You bring him back at any cost. Three, fear is absolute. There is no shame in losing one battle. But you must take revenge by any means necessary.
I love how the first half is so contained like the owl is measuring how strong Sekiro has become. But the second phase is all out no holds barred. He knows Sekiro is capable so he’s just going off. My favorite boss by far
I love the way he throws the little things that lock your healing, it's so comical, it looks like he doesn't know what he's doing, but, that is his intention, to trick you into believing he's doing something harmless, when it's arguably his most devastating attack. It's little subtleties like that that turn this game from a five out of five to a six out of five.
I feel that Owl as a boss, is a test of your nerves and ability to cope under pressure. Owl hits like a truck and can deathblow you if you're not careful. Gyobu was more of an introduction to parrying and posture, and Genichiro a test of your general knowledge of the fighting mechanics. Owl is a test of your focus and ability to remain calm and keep going despite relentless heavy attacks.
Father is very personal music, and trying to show a moment in the wolf story. The great shinobi is a music for someone trying to murder you and being very good at it. Tbh i like it more too
Both Owl tracks are composed by Noriyuki Asakura, but the Owl Father was arranged by Yuka Kitamura, so it sounds more in line with her own tracks. This one has a way different and more unique feel to it, as do all other tracks from Asakura as well, which i prefer too.
Sounds like rurorini kenshin and tenchu because yuka kitamura collaborated with the guy who composed the music for tenchu wrath of heaven which is the same dude who made the music for kenshin himura.

One of the best tracks in the game for one of the most despicable and yet best-written characters ever made by FromSoftware.
That settles it, im playing sekiro for the 8th time now
I have successfully played senior for the 8th time, hooray
@@whatsmycut4132I need to go back and play it, haven’t picked it up in years 😫

“Been a while since we done this” “let’s get it over with”
Same character - two completely different fights and music moods. Example how to re-use boss properly.
Nah, just throw two separate bosses in a room and make them share an incomplete health bar, way easier.

I knew it was Noriyuki-san composing the moment the second phase started. Sounds so much like Tenchu/Rurouni Kenshin
Much better than owl father for me just sounds better.

Honestly, phase 2 for great shinobi theme and phase 1 for father theme. I do enjoy when it picks up the pace

This is kind father 😂, God i like fighting him hard and satisfying
0:53 love the part where the drums kick in
Uma das melhores Boss Theme de Sekiro é essa do velho Coruja, uma das minhas favoritas e a melhor parte dela 1:39
Realmente, muito foda essa ost
I prefer owl father's ost more but this is still really good and one of my favourite fromsoftware osts
This sounds like somethibg else but i can't figure out/remember

Tenchu / Kenshin
I dont remember, but i feel mhrise have something that sounds like this
