@@primalspongebob6144 Because most of them are pretty similar, Sekiro as a game is amazing, and some of the OSTs are great as well, but still, for me, it pales in comparison to other fromsoft games in terms of music (Don't know about Demon's Souls though)
@@doge_69og Demons souls is very low key, it even sounds goofy because it's all midi. HO HOHO HO. It fits the original perfectly because it has a very surreal, depressive bad dream esque vibe throughout the whole game. The remakes soundtrack is really good (it's by the same people that made bloodbornes soundtrack which I still think is the best of all time) and there are some real bangers (I like Intro&story cutscene, Old King, Dirty Colussus, main hub, maiden astrea is absolutely beautiful and depressing) but it doesn't fit to the theme of the game itself that much sadly because its not a epic/grand and dramatic game like DS3, BB, ER. Just take a listen if you can't play it yourself and compare the soundtrack of tower knight (original is funny as fuck while the remake should have been in elden ring it goes so unbelievably hard)
It feels like this is constantly one step away from totally falling apart in the best of ways like at 1:39. This song constantly feels like it's trying escape itself. Easily one of the best tracks in the game.
Not unlike the Sculptor himself For who knows how many years, trying to carve a non-wrathful Buddha statue, a futile debt of penance to attempt to stave off or prevent his transformation Luckily he did so long enough to help and mentor Sekiro, even if he did succumb in the end Maybe his true penance all along was helping aid the shinobi who went on to break Ashina free from the grip of war
Also the stains on the shrine and floor that looks like something dead dragging itself out. Great environmental storytelling, even for people who dont really know Japanese culture.
@@ncrranger6327 well not dead but maybe left for dead, as its heavily implied the Sculptor was sealed in the shrine, maybe directly after what happened with Isshin.

I used to think this was the worst boss in the game and could never understand why people liked it but I’ll be 100% honest this is top 5 in my fromsoft boss list because I just realized this is a dark souls boss in sekiro and as soon as i realized that I changed my approach and holy I love this guy and the sculptor
Interesting but a sad thing i noticed when he does the kabuki Mei like dance and the flames appear, the sculptor covers his eyes, showing there is still part of him inside that dosen't want to hurt wolf.
Clocked this game like over a 100 times when it came out between me and my bredrin, best game. He despised this fight only but for me it's was excellent and this battle track has a lot to do with it
Isn't sekiro the next sculptor if you follow the normal path ? Leading yo his Master's d€ath ? Makes sense if you think about both of them loosing the same arm.
"What did the Buddha show you?"
"Flames"
Goes hard
The lore behind the sculpture makes turning into a demon sound pretty reasonable
This is so underrated. I feel like Sekiro doesn't get mentioned enough when talking about Fromsoft music.
100% agree
Still can’t believe I’ve seen people say its soundtrack is meh, bland, or boring.

The song really captures the "hatred." Part well it’s just a very negative piece. Not beautiful in anyway just miserable.
Best minor detail is the ofuda covering the sculptor's shrine, seeing as they are talismans to ward off evil spirits, or imprison them.

Man Lord of Frenzy ost had some heavy Demon of hatred vibes especially around 1:09
also couldnt help but think of this theme when I heard Midras. the more i sit on it, the more memorable sekiros ost becomes for me.
I love that this is weird and without structure for most of the start, but from 1:39 it becomes more structured and melodic, so cool

The beginning sounds like the start of Nito s Theme
I haven't noticed it earlier but this is very similar to Shostakovich: Quartet No. 8 (2nd mov.)
Other FromSoft osts build up to the epic orchestra. Sekiro's OST however does not mess around. Its letting you know right off that its on sight.

Pov: you're fighting your nemesis
