- Wow! Muse have long been a band that has been in and out of my childhood with my dad showing me some of their best singles when I was a kid. I thought it was finally time to return to some of these hits and go through a full length project by them. We have a lot of fun with some hits I haven't heard in years with a bunch of surprises along the way. This was an exhilarating journey that got me out of my seat time and time again.
My name is Jack and I love music, in particular Hip Hop, I decided to make this channel as a way to engage with other music lovers and because there doesn't seem to be a lot of reaction channels on UA-cam...My goal has always been to be open to all types of music regardless of my love of Hip Hop, on this channel you can expect a rich array of genres. If you're keen to join me on my music journey then please subscribe, if you ever want to give your thoughts on an album or song that I have reacted to, then please do. I want this channel to be a community and if you love music of any genre then welcome!!!

Its rare that you get an original album that feels like a greatest hits compilation but Black Holes and Revelations pulls it off effortlessly
haha legit!!
My favorite Muse song is Map of the Problematique, and the way you reacted to it was awesome! Lol i feel that way whenever i listen to it! Seems like you're checking Origin of Symmetry next, i can't wait to see your reaction with Micro Cuts haha
Such an amazing song, really glad you checked out the reaction and enjoyed it! Super keen for origin of symmetry
their both glastonbury live versions are amazing, especially the 2010 one
I think I went to see them at Wembley just for Map of the Problematique 😂
Heard it on the radio in LA amongst supermassive black hole and starlight and it never ever released its clutches on me. As I grew up and could appreciate their earlier more complex stuff, this still remained at the top. So Happy to find someone who thinks the same. Banger for the ages. Play it at my funeral🤘🏼
Absolutely , Map of the Problematique is just SO F'ING PERFECT... That drum breakdown.. his gorgeous voice... harmonies... just epic.
It's a shame there's no 'Glorious' at the end of this version, stunning track.
Wait untill 2026
The second half of this album is so amazing for me. City of delusion is in my top 3 muse songs ever
Every since I have read your comment I haven’t been able to stop humming city of delusions
So gives me a feeling it will continue to grow on me !
Such a crazy underrated song.
Absolutely agree, I still constantly go back to it!
The entire album.. flawless... ❣️❣️❣️
Most muse fans consider origin of symmetry to be there best album so I would recommend that next
Sickkk! Keen to check it out
@@cavemanjack Yeah I think to be fair Most fans land on Origins of Symmetry, Absolution or Black Holes and Revelations
Origins = Diversity of Sound and so much power and emotion.
Absolution = I think would be where they sort of nailed down the "Core Muse sound"
Black Holes = Production Quality and Building and experimenting from the previous Two albums
Yes
or Absolution
*old muse fans* consider it the best. It's far from their best. It's very messy, and the only real songs that are revolutionary are on the last half of the album cause most of the first half is repetitive. Absolution is objectively better in terms of creativity and artistry. BH&R to me is their best but I can argue why Absolution would be better. OOS just isn't the best.
Not going to lie - I feel Exo-politics is one of the most underrated of all Muse songs.
But then i do like industrial music. I also love classical music and the early introduction of that 'waiting patiently' motif and how its built on through the song is just glorious to me.
I feel the same. The sheer power behind the "fully loaded satellites, will nothing conquer nothing but our minds" is so stunning. this album is pretty much a perfect 10 for me, theres literally not a single bad track
That second to last “hold you in my arms” in Starlight never fails to give me goosebumps. I cried when I witnessed it live.
Yeah , they're all so perfect , the hits and the underrated ones. Starlight is arguably THE most romantic song ever created.
i also think a good "bar" from muse is in Map Of The Problematique is "why can't we see, that when we bleed we bleed the same?"
That's a fantastic line! So powerful
@@cavemanjack Yes i love it, check out more of them!! if you haven’t already, check out their album “Origin Of Symmetry”
I think Map of the Problematique and Hoodoo have my favourite Muse lyrics
i mean take a bow is my favourite song by muse ever, so ur reaction was perfect, it’s cinematic, dark, incredibly complex and the vocals are incredible
Man had so much fun with this album
It's been a long time since I've felt so much joy watching a reaction video. This album is pure nostalgic bliss
Hell yeah! really glad you enjoyed it !
I love how joyful your reacts are! Always makes me smile to see people dancing to my fave band. Would love it if you shared even more of your thoughts on the music too. Also, the Phantom of the Opera shout out made me laugh. You should listen to Origin of Symmetry next. The last song features an actual organ. (Fun side note: because it's about losing faith, Matt had to lie to the priest and give him some bullshit lyrics before he got permission to use it.)
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your kind words. Im very keen to check out origin of symmetry soon!
Hoodoo is like an evolution of their song Dark Shines in terms of feeling almost as if you could imagine it in a noir film
Hoodoo has grown on me since first listen, each time I hear I find different elements
Thanks man, love listening to peoples thoughts on albums I like!
Thanks Theron, glad you enjoyed the vid !
I loooove your reactions! This is exactly how I still feel listening to them after all these years.
Their sound is so elevating and overflowing with the full range of raw emotions.
I still get choked up and cry at certain parts of their songs.
They are just incredible, and I'm so happy you are joining us all on the hype train, haha.
Can't wait for more album reacts!
Hell yeah, glad you enjoyed the vid, very keen to check out more, that's for sure
Soldier's Poem is so great. Any Muse or Radiohead reactions you do, I'm here for haha
Such a fantastic song
Hahah well amnesiac is coming soon!
Hopefully next week
I love this video !!! I love this album, this moment you start singing along to Stalight is absolute magic !
Glad you enjoyed the video!
@@cavemanjack I Always do, you have such a Vibe !
Love your enthusiasm! Friggin' love Muse! Please do reactions to all their albums in this vein.
Hell yeah, thank you! Keen to listen to some more Muse in the new year
Love your reactions! You’re covering all my favorite albums and artists! First Radiohead, and now Muse! Good stuff 👍🏻
Hell yeah, glad your enjoying the vids Daniel!
Aaaaaah i was hoping you would do the bonus track on the album which is probably my favorite song, it is called Glorious
Sorry Max, I missed it! Will need to check it out for sure !
you are my favorite reactions channel to watch! i love how you always get so excited it’s amazing keep it up :)
Thank you so much Olivia
Loved this was such fun
hell yeah, thank you!
Best album ever!! I'm so happy you reacted to this 🙂
Your reaction for the whole thing made me smile loads haha, especially cause Muse is my favourite band. Makes me remember just how amazing and passionate their earlier albums were. Hope you enjoy reacting to their other projects!
p.s. I think Hoodoo is an absolute masterpiece :D
haha thanks Tom, such a fun album
Loved seeing your reaction! It's awesome how their songs get people off their seat and moving. If you're looking for more muse satisfaction try Origin of Symmetry (this album was remastered, but I still recommend the original), or Absolution!
Their debut album, Showbiz is also great, but lacks a bit of the muse identity as we know it today (synths and other stuff). People often compare it to radiohead, but if that's your vibe, feel free to check it out. I'll be here for any muse reaction/ review you cover!
Some song just make you instantly dance and I love it! Thanks for the recommendations Ricardo!
Love this reaction Love Muse
So good!
HAHA YES! I was waiting for some Muse!
Was so much fun Pierce!!
@@cavemanjack if you haven't already, try checking out Knights of Cydonia Live at the Rome Olympic Colosseum.
I like it even more than the original because of the wicked intro they add!
You have to react to Absolution by Muse now!!! Loved this reaction mate x
Thank you so much Rachel, added to the list!
Totally agree 👍
A parte em que canta em Starlight é tão goodvibes. Legal ver alguém aproveitando as maravilhas nesse album.
Your wonderful reaction remind me of how good this album was. Nostalgic
Thank you!!
@@cavemanjack please react muse's previous album. Origin of symmetry and Absolution.
I also wait for Linkin park's minutes to midnight.
Thanks
And is
I did love your reaction I felt the same 😊
What an album and Map of the Problematique Wow 💙 Went to see them this year at Wembley Stadium on this tour 👌 This and Killers, Sam's Town were my go to albums of 2006 👌
Love watching this one! Definatly some hits in the first half for me.
An album ill recommend is 'applause of a distant crowd' by VOLA. Firstly because thats an epic album title... haha but jks aside, its heavy rock, almost metal at times, but a little atmospheric and synthy. Very enjoyable listen and would be another broaden of the sounds on the channel so far.
Thank you brother! Love the sound of VOLA thanks for the recommendation mate
Can't wait for you to react to the Origin album, really enjoyed this one!
Man I can't wait
Their 2nd album Origin of Symmetry is widely regarded as there best album. There is the original version and a 20 year anniversary Remix version which has some real nice changes to some of the songs but would go with the original first.
I regards to rediscovering muse and their work. I would point out that can get experimental and like to dive in an out of style and influences of other music. You might want to give assassin another go but look out for the "grand omega bosses edit"
They have a great live shows and worth watching some of them. I think you would love watching knights of Cydonia live @ Rome.
A lot of fan don't like their newer stuff but as muse are alway evolving there music I think it is just jarring at first for some but doesn't mean it's not great music. Simulation Theory for example. Which not received that well by fans at first but made one hell of a tour IMO
Thanks for the comment! im very keen to check out origin of symmetry soon!
I will for sure keep giving assassin a go, ill take your word for it!
I definelty need to check out that live video from Rome
You should check out Origin of Symmetry next! With MUSE each album has its own vibe so it's kind of up to preference, but OOS is considered one of their best, if not their best album. While Black Holes and Revelations has more of a prog rock, heavy synth, somewhat western inspired sound with heavy political themes, OOS is more alternative with a space rock sound, still heavily electronic but more dreamy. Would love to see you react to it and hear your thoughts. Some tracks in that album are WILD, such as Micro Cuts, which is probably in my top 3 favorite MUSE songs of all time. Super experimental.
Im very keen to check out origin of symmetry. Super pumped!
@@cavemanjack Do you think you might still do it? Your pure joy while listening to Muse is infectious so I keep rewatching the two videos you've done on them hehe
Más reacciones a Muse por favor! NUEVO SUB. Sin dudarlo. Saludos desde México 🇲🇽💚❤️
Love this reaction 😂😂this is how I feel every time I listen to Muse😅 For me Origin of Symmetry and Absolution are even better than BHAR, love to see you react to them🙏
Thanks Helen! They are on my list for sure
Weeeeeey teeee Amooooo ❤ jajajajaja soy totalmente igual a tí cuando escucho MUSE. ❤ MUSE ES PASIÓN ❤
This album is pure gold, easily my top 4. Knights of Cydonia is my favorite song on this album and also is my 2nd favorite Muse song behind Sunburn!
Mannn how good is knights of cyndonia!!
Loved ur reaction, I love map of the problematique, u should listen to it live from Wembley, love nights of Cydonia aswel,
Sickkk! I will have to check it out
Awesome
I had the same reaction to Map of the Problematique. I’d never heard anything like it. Muse doesn’t get any better.
I know everyone’s saying it but you’ve gotta listen to origin of symmetry. It’s one of the greatest albums imo, and new born is one of the best songs ever.
you should definitely check origin of symmetry next, its my personal fav of theirs
Very keen to check it out on channel one day!
Map of the Problematique is so insane when you hear it for the first time!
Oh gosh!
Hope you do Origin of Symmetry next. Their best album
Ever since 2009 Muse has been my favourite band. I was born in 2005 so that says a lot haha. You should definitely react to The Resistance album or Absolution from muse
hello fellow 2005er i see everywhere
Hell yeah, wanna check out more of their stuff soon
Absolution
coming soon
@@cavemanjack great
🔥🔥🔥🔥👏👏💯
10:40 does it to me every time.
best album ever
ASSASSINNNNNNNNN.... 😜🤘
You should *REALLY* react to Origin of Symmetry album by Muse
Planning to at some point this year for sure!
Literally, my reaction to Map of the Problematique.
Such an awesome track !
Just subscribe your channel, dude! It was all just because MUSE😁
Absolution coming sooooon
If you’re a fan of some British rock and looking for something a little more underground I would recommend a band called False Heads. If all that grungy alt rock was brought into the modern day that’s what it would sound like. Their new album Sick Moon just released and I thoroughly recommend
Hell yeah! thanks for the recommendation
@@cavemanjack no problems good sir. Have fun with some grungy goodness
literally my reaction everytime I hear Map of the problematique
Such a great track
hoodoo is my personal favorite on here. way too underrated.
Origin of symmetry reaction please
Gonna have to add it to the list for sure !
MBV - LOVELESS
Try listening to the first 4 Muse albums without smiling from start to finish.
The impossible challenge
Assassin is for the conneseuirs.
Please react to Origin of symmetry
Coming in 2023!
Map of problematique mann.... instrumental masterpiece
Exo-Politics is my favorite track on the album, but it definitely didn't start that way. I think it definitely takes a few listen-troughs to really have it grow on you!
Thanks Matt! Keen to see how it grows on me
And “Glorious?🤔
Oh no I missed the bonus track! I will have to suss it out soon!
@@cavemanjack Don't miss "Fury" and "Futurism" on the two previous albums. Definitely worth it.
When is amnesiac?
Hopefully next week!
Recorded it yesterday
Just need time to edit :))
HE DIDN'T REACT GLORIOUS what a shame...
Listen to the globalist by muse please!
I hope you become a Mise fan
Muse are soooo good
Ah yes, MISE fan
Knights of cydonia is the best muse song
Check out Polyphia! Great band
Thanks for the recommendation!!
@@cavemanjack I second this. Polyphia just dropped a new album and it is fantastic.
Take a Bow, is a curse.
How many crackas does it take to go from crackalackin' to crackapackin'?
this might be a weird thing to add but this album makes me feel so camp, im not a flamboyant gay by any margin but this album basically turns me into a camp super villain and i love it so much!
Lmao that's such a perfect way to describe it! Anyone who doesn't understand, just watch the music video for Knights of Cydonia.
HAHA I LOVE THAT! Such a legendary album,
The way he cut the Invincible guitar solo... The disrespect :(
hahah im sorrrrryy! Such an awesome song!
@@cavemanjack hahahaha, don't worry. I still like your videos
You should have started with Absolution.
Yellow card.
I had no idea where to start lol
Should have made a poll on the channel
