Aloha All! It was such an honor to meet MFJJ and be part of this giveaway. I’ve learned so much in such a short time and now have the confidence to work on my own bow. This trip to Spokane is a once in a lifetime experience…however, I’ll be back for sure! Mahalos MFJJ for the hospitality, mentorship, and an unforgettable experience. Mahalos to the crew at SVA for all your help when I had questions in the shop and just being awesome people! And Mahalos for the positivity in the comments section. I’m blessed beyond blessed! Happy 2024 all! Godspeed🤙🏽
@@robbyfrazier7745 Mahalos Brother🤙🏽 I really appreciate it. Trying to shoot as much can and getting those quality reps in. The 33” ATA is such a smooth and comfy draw. Hopefully one day I can attend TAC event somewhere stateside.
@@archerash6695 Mahalos! 🤙🏽 I hope you can make it out there as well. Josh is such a stand up Bruddah and the crew that runs the shop are top notch. If I had more time out there I would’ve shot the 3D course and try to hit the world famous moose lol. I’ll be back for sure!
What a great guy to win a bow. Josh, that was a good job filled with patience and knowledge. This gives the bow giveaway even more significance. Lucky winners are fortunate to gain bow tuning tips from one of the best. Best wishes!
Mahalos @rogerhook8002 I’m beyond grateful! I’ve learned soo much from Josh. He had so much patience with a noob archer like myself lol. And I’m pretty sure a section got edited out cos I was struggling with an allen screw on one of the mods😅
Awwright! Wished you could’ve flew out with me this trip but it was so last minute. You’ll see the bow in two weeks when I fly over. And next trip to Spokane, you’re coming for sure!
Awesome video mfjj nothing better than having someone learn than to get hands on themselves.your archery experience is top shelf.experience itself is the number one teacher in life!!
I'm done! I give up on my local bow shops. Central MN. They just won't go the distance or maybe don't have the knowledge. Nice video. The part that got me is when you tuned the bow, stopped adjusting the rest and went after the cables for beutiful bullet hole. Then the distance shots to prove it. The shops I go to would move the rest into right field, I can do that in my yard at home.
I have to admit I was wondering if the bow giveaways were ever going to happen because I didn’t see you say anything about them for months, although I understand it was a busy time of year for you. I’m so happy we get to see this, even if I didn’t get drawn. Congrats to all the lucky winners!!!!
I have been in and out of bow hunting for almost thirty years and I enjoy the hunting but do to lack of knowledge of my equipment I don’t get the satisfaction that most experience. This is something that these people need to cherish. Well done Josh.
Its hard watching this and going back to local "pro" shop, I was told I have to shoot 150 arrows before paper tuning! I knew then they are just moving bows and not taking the time to be thorough. Love watching, keep them coming!
Awesome video, and congrats to the winner. Dude hit the lotto and got to work and learn on the bow with arguably best teacher. Think how much time and money mfjj is putting into the bow giveaways. Each person is getting 2-3k setup for free and a full day showing and teaching. Stand up guy for sure👊
I can totally imagine MFJJ has tonnes of stuff on his plate to get through each day but you never got the impression he was rushing Wendell through, just super patient and generous and giving 100% attention. Great job MFJJ and congratulations Wendell!
@Bluesplayer789 Mahalos🤙🏽 I appreciate the comment. Josh totally took his time for me to become knowledgeable about the bow, its components, and getting comfortable with the bow press. Even got to just chill for a bit and talk randomness lol. And I’m super grateful he made time for me to fly out there to meet him and have the bow giveaway become a success. He’s a workhorse when it comes to his business (actually saw him offloading a delivery truck), but he always gives time to customers and people wanting to just meet him. Super stand up human. We need more of those to keep the archery community together. Also his staff are awesome as well; knowledgable, helpful, and just super chill bunch of dudes.
@@WendellAbigania it was awesome in the video seeing him take you along and show the ropes and look after you, he looks like he would be a great teacher to learn from! I'm only quite new to archery but got fired up from Josh's videos (and a podcast with Dan) to try some home maintenance and was sweating bullets changing top hats for the first time. I'm very very happy for you mate, enjoy the bow!
@@WendellAbiganiaGood stuff, Buddy. Just curious, but have you seen " privlaged bow hunter" here on youtube? Im not sure exactly where he is, but pretty positive he's still in Hawaii. He has a good bit of pretty helpful videos on bows and saddle hunting.
@@weirdmood8102 Mahalos! Yes I've seen his videos pop up on my feed here and there. He is on the same island as me but I've never seen him in person...although we do go to the same range and the same archery shop lol. Seems like a solid dude.
Would really love to see you add draw force curves to the reviews. One glance at a draw force curve tells you a lot about the feel of the cycle without bias. Thanks and keep up the good work. Like you I've studied and tested this stuff since the late 80's.
Would you mind making a video in regards to some new LIFT owners experiencing cam clicking against the cable on the draw and/or the release. I’m sure you’ve seen this on A……Talk.
Enjoy your content MFJJ. I'm viewing from Canada eh. LoL Can you do closeups up when you find position for d-loop using the square and where your silver sharpie marks go? Thanks. Much appreciated.
Congratulations to the winner, I’m sure an amazing experience! Great video Josh! ?Question? I noticed when you were sighting in & practicing the cock vane looked kinda random. Was that from nock tuning?
SKB double bow case. Has tons of room for one bow and a bunch of extra gear and hunting clothes. Could fit two bows as labeled too but I think the center foam needs to be removed
this is amazing to see one kanaka from hawaii cheee super stoke you got to meet one legend mahalo MFJJ for being one bradda to another bradda.... aloha
Chee! Mahalos my Bruddah. MFJJ totally took care of me while I was there. Talk story plenty and just learned a ton from him. This Bruddah does a lot for the archery community and he’s doing it for free. Mahalos again and I looking forward to more of your pig hunts! 🐗🤙🏽
Thanks for pointing that out. I definitely had bad posture early in the cold morning. Eventually it warmed up throughout the day and everything lined up solid. For sure I’ll keep an eye on it at the range though. Mahalo 😁🤙🏽

I’m bummed I didn’t win a bow this time, but I am glad you went through the whole process of setting up this bow. Knowledge is power!
How awesome!!! What an amazing opportunity! Congrats on winning! And how awesome of MFJJ to do this!

Outstanding…👊🏻🇺🇸🏹
Congrats on the bow! Great video !
Black Gold level adjustment , you'd think that they would make a factory adjustment to ease that problem. Thanks for your expertise!
Perusic knot in that activation cable….makes that football a relic of the past 😉
Prusik* 😉
Congratulations buddy nice job and build 👍

Any advantage of mounting the stabilizer on a sidebar mount like you did here?
Hey Josh, would you have any of your old OMP vises you would like to sell?
Fun content but how about a Hoyt build!! 😁
Can you tell me why Bowtech discontinued the CP28 after it had so much Hype?
Love all the reviews. Would love to hear what you have to say about warhead arrows.
#warheadarrowco
What color strings are those?
It’s the Ghost Camo color.
What bow case is that?

lets go 808
Cheehuu my Bruddah 🤙🏽
Why is he changing out match strings?
He didn’t, he changed out zebra strings. The bow was a phase 4 and the zebra strings are trash.
Why would you choose last year's bow??
Mfjj 10 bows he’s giving away were all 2023 models. Whoever won first got first choice and so on
What serving are you using
Bcy 400 nylon is what they use
Can I come and build me one
Bow arm isn’t extended
