I've been worried that these racks are escapable but not in the way you are dealing with. 😅 I have one of these racks for my babies and thought I would need to make holes in the tubs but it doesn't look like you did. So I guess that's good that I don't need to. Anyway, what I was trying to say is that I was worried they would get in between the gap between the shelf and tubs but it looks like they can't. So that's good!
I actually did drill holes in some of the bins but it is completely unnecessary with the gap at the top. You might still want to do it if high humidity is a concern, but I actually used that to my benefit when they first hatched to keep them hydrated. The runt is actually small enough that it could get out of a gap the usual size. I had to place him on a shelf where I screwed things in too tight so that there's only about a 1/16th of an inch gap.
She's a lot bigger now too. Had her out and about today and she wouldn't leave my shirt alone, lol. Guess she remembers her time inside my sleeves as a baby. *EDIT* Oh wait! I thought this was the sleeve video because I couldn't see the thumbnail clearly, lol. She's all of 250 beautiful grams and super curious. Very much has a personality like Alys had but with a ton more caution and sense of self preservation.
Oh no! How *dare* you make a vid over 9 mins! I just can’t handle 13 minutes of lil cuties!
Lol 😂 The boys trying to escape to get to the ladies already 🤣
I've always loved these, the hognose 😍
