Got to say, now that I watched this video, I found out I'm going about committing war crimes in Minecraft the complete wrong way. Very Informative allowed me to check of my bucket list easier.
hbm nuclear tech mod includes pretty much everything you need to effectively commit every war crime, from white phosphorus to nukes to poison gas to guns you can use to shoot villagers with. This alone also greatly expands the list of possible war crimes. Add a few more mods like customnpcs and lost cities and set up a few basic nations to unlock those nation based categories as well. And because hbm also adds machinery like power plants and the ability to build a power grid, there is now civilian infrastructure you can attack too.
Except that isn't the full total. If you want to 100% minecraft war crimes, you gotta do it for every single seed. There's 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 possible seeds, so there's about 1,800,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (1.8 Nonillion war crimes). Which (pretty sure) you'd need to spend 9 * 10^19 years completing, so the universe will be dead before you do all the warcrimes
Good point! I shouldve mentioned this, but I chose not to include the woodland mansion because its just one building, and so I didn't really believe it was really a "settlement" like a pillager tower (it has tents) and a village
Actually, there are slightly less max war crimes since not every village has a church. Possibly other worldgen quirks would remove or add crimes here and there too, but at this point, we're making tanks out of basins anyway.
Now that a lot of people have mentioned it, Woodland Mansions probably should've made the list, I didn't add it because it's just one building. And Piglins seem more like a mob than a humanoid creature to me. They live in ruins, spawn in biomes, and don't really show any super-intelligent traits besides trading objects for shinier objects
I was torn between including them, but I feel like piglins are more mob than humanoid creature, and woodland mansions is iffy but I didn't include them because I feel like since its just one building its not really a settlement
Since the bastions are just ruins and they also spann in certain nether biomes I feel like they are more like a hostile mob instead of a war crimeable humanoid creature
@@calebtremor But it's a home that is actively inhabited, you can tell by the housing units. And piglins are more complex and less hostile than illagers....they aren't mindless monsters.
I've got a world with the mod comes alive that gives villagers a more alive look and behaviour Let's say that, in order to get more people into my imaginary empire to get more taxes, I had to kidnap plenty of people by the method of "you want candy?" and then had them living in way better houses than they were before Dang, Im way too good with them, the only bad thing I do is taxes
I really enjoyed this. I found it really amusing. I wish I didn’t sound like a robot saying this. Seriously though, that bucket list joke was really 01100111 01101111 01101111 01100100.
I think you might have overestimated villages and pillagers, maybe it would be helpful to take a sample of overworld and extrapolate from there? I'm sure chunkbase could help too!
I went based on spawning statistics I found online. According to that, Minecraft divides the overworld into squares of roughly 500x500 blocks and in each one of those squares there is a 50% chance for a village to spawn. If we divide the world into sections of 1000x1000 blocks the chances that there is at least one village in one of the 4 500x500 squares that make up one 1000x1000 section, is really high, around 95%

I didn't really think about them, especially since they are not local to settlements. They are only in ruins and spawn in certain nether biomes. They feel more like just a spawnable mob instead of a humanoid enough creature
But does this account for the creation of new settlements for the purpose of doing more war crimes? Can you automate the crimes against humanity process in minecraft?

You need a Brewing Stand for a villager to be a Cleric, which only spawn in churches.
