Mom is always a good sport when I stick a camera in her face. Here's a video where she (and dad) talk about an important Newfoundland topic from back in the summer: ua-cam.com/video/BoJ4AaNt6KM/v-deo.html
I appreciate your video. My mother and father were Newfoundlanders living in New York. They’re gone now but I so appreciate hearing your mother’s accent, it’s something that I miss dearly, it bought a smile to my heart and ears. Thanks for sharing.
I know your Mom & Dad. We lived on Fourth St. for a few years and we even went to school together. I'm sure she'll be OK. She's a strong person and a fighter. I, myself, have been through health struggles with my husband but that was almost 10 years ago and he is doing fine so never give up hope. Be there for her when she needs someone.
Sending best wishes to your lovely mom for a quick return to good health! Yes, it sucks that your mind goes in a negative direction when things are uncertain. I think that's perfectly normal! Watching your videos that include time spent with her brings good vibes, no doubt. Keep up the happy thoughts!
Hey Mark, I feel everything you are going through with your mom. My mom, who also lives in Mount Pearl is going through some health issues as well, and it isn't easy. Prayers and thoughts going out to all our moms!!
When our hearts and souls are filled with fear for someone we love it is easy to let our thoughts go to darker places. I pray things go well for your Mom and your family. It's easy to see from your videos how very special she is. My thoughts are with you Mark.
What a great video, Mark. After my grandmother died, my family is nothing but a room full of relatives. To me, family is everything, so this video hits hard. Thanks for sharing this. You are a good person Mark, and I hope to meet you one day.
Second time to see that clip (I saw your other video) and it still brings tears in my eyes. I hope your mom will be better soon. I don't know her but I'll think about her now. Pat
I lost my Mom on March 16th, 2023. By the time she got her original diagnosis to when she passed was about a Month. I knew for less time as when she found out, I was down in Florida on my Honeymoon. I couldn't wait to see her watch my videos of Magic Kingdom, which she always wanted to see... she was gone before I could show her those videos. I hope your mom can get through this and enjoy every moment with her. Don't take anything for granted.
Hey brother, 2020 was my last trip home, to say goodbye to mom, hopefully you get a few more conversations with yours. Don't know if you are familiar with Springsteen, he has a song The Wish, cut from 1987 Tunnel of Love album, better than most songs on it. That was a break up album and this was a mom song, it just didn't fit. Blizzard in Central Ontario today, saw maybe 10 snowflakes during morning coffee, time for me rubber boots. Cheers, Happy Thanksgiving.
Thank you, I will. I hope the hardest stuff will be behind mom soon enough, and that she will be comfortable enough to have me pester her with my camera again before Christmas.
Well........this was different Mark......it a good way of course......fantastic buddy..........wishing your mom the best with whatever she has going on and cherrish every moment.........like yourself I had spent a lot of years away and missed a lot of time with my parents and family.........mom passed about 6yrs ago and dad almost a year coming up next week..........after there passing I made videos of the good memories of them and they are on our channel.............sorry, back to your mom........she seems very nice and still strong.....I'm sure she'll be ok.......all the best Mom Royal....
Mark it was a big big surprise for your parents at the end of thi video. Your mom was very surprise and you dad speacheless. This surprise remembered me my parents who passed away many years ago. One lesson: We never need to give some present because our presence it's THE BEST GIFT❤🫶 Take care of each of you

Moms are always the star, and should be treated that way. Family is most important.
