I’ve been wondering how suitable this attachment would be for mounting a pair of mini tymps, but after seeing it hold a 16” tom with no problems, I’d say it’ll be pretty safe!
I don´t like the idea of not having memory locks... (like Pearl has), it takes a long time to adjust every tom to the right height and angle every time you put your kit apart... Specially when many bands play, and you have to put your whole kit together in less than 10 min. You will end up playing with the toms in the wrong position / angle...
I just bought one to use with a Tama 10 inch tymp snare. It is solid and super easy to use.

This clamp its not recommended for tom sizes bigger than 13". The Omni ball system could be damaged every time you over tight...
did you know if the omni ball system can be removed and replaced by a tube holder? (srry for my bad english)
The clamp you are looking for is MC61 or MC62

It's little pricy but, it looks cool and simple and stable what can I say more?! But, Tama you better move the factory out from CCP.
