The Secret Bamboo Forest in Atlanta, Georgia

• EAST PALISADES TRAIL IN CHATTAHOOCHEE RIVER NATIONAL RECREATION AREA - ATLANTA, GEORGIA:
When you think of Atlanta, Georgia the first thing that comes to mind is probably not a bamboo forest. It surely didn’t dawn on me that there would even be a bamboo forest anywhere near Atlanta, Georgia. But after doing some research on things to do and sights to see in this large metropolitan city, I soon became mistaken. In fact, not far off from the city center you’ll find just that. A beautiful, scenic, picturesque forest full of large lush bamboo trees right along a tranquil flowing river. You may have to search far and wide to find this amazing place. In this video I take you on a hike along the East Palisades Trail in the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. Stay tuned to the end to catch a glimpse of the magnificent Bamboo Forest!
