The Bart's Nightmare street theme enhances this audio-visual experience
The fact that you can only sometimes see the Homer timer is genuinely good horror. It creates a good combination of not knowing how much time you have left while still having the pressure of a ticking clock. A shockingly good horror concept for a meme map.
I'd imagine it's just the result of the text being too large for the UI, but it works out for the reasons you mentioned

I too also remember offblast! In open fortress, anyways. Zombies on that map was incredibly fun. Never played it in TF2, though.

If you want another Simpsons themed TF2 map I suggest is koth_sneed. It’s based off a one off joke that is still being spammed on /tv/. It’s a functional koth map.

Aar's done some... weird stuff (problematic stuff, if you'll pardon the overused word) and you probably shouldn't be promoting his stuff, but if you for some reason decide to do so again, I'm pretty sure his name is pronounced like the letter R and not like air.
tbh I always felt something was a bit... off about that drama? like it felt more like the people who brought it to the surface were fishing for stuff to accuse Aar of? maybe I'm remembering it wrong. Also it is pronouced "Air" despite it's spelling, I checked with the dude himself.
@@Whomobile It was very much stretched to try and pin something on him. The drama purposefully missed a detail that had the whole case fall apart if anyone applied it.
