😍I enjoyed this so SO much! I really love painting scenes like this and as always, you made it easy and approachable. Oh and thanks for teaching me about the Gradient Map, I didn't know about it before this, very useful! 😎
I about fainted when I experimented and used the Gradient Map. The results were out of the ballpark. You have been my mentor all of these years, and now I have another advanced tool that gives me unlimited choices for harmonious color.
This is great! Thank you. I’ve now subscribed. Also - spotted some comments about trying to keep up with the pace. This wasn’t a problem when using the pause button. Maybe a live stream would be different!
New subscriber, really love what you are able to accomplish in 15 mins or less with your videos. Thanks the tutorials are real fun. I would say to new users of Procreate it helps to get familiar with the environment first as these videos do move fast and it easy to fall behind behind is you don’t know where to find features
thank you so much! I'm motivated to make the videos as straghforward as possible because i don't really get ad revenue, so it's not nescesary to edit them to drag on too long (usually on youtube you are rewarded for longer videos). I'm always uncertain about what skill level to make the video aim for. I deffinetly go too fast in this video and I need to work on that 😅 My current theory is aim for around 10 minutes for each tutorial and then base the skill level on how complex the artwork is. SO, simpler project can move slower for beginners, and larger projects can get sort of accelerated. It's not perfect though and I'm always trying to improve this. One thing I can tell from YT analytics is that almost nobody watches the complicated videos all the way to the end so I feel a bit of pressure to make it more interesting to watch (this can mean it needs to be a bit faster but I'm not sure yet)
I don't have procreate but I've been able to successfully follow a ton of your digital watercolor art tuts in Infinite Painter. A lot of your tips and tricks are software agnostic ❤
Thank you so much! Someday procreate may be obsolete and I try to make my videos as minimal as possible so they can be helpful to someone maybe far into the future ☺️
i just did this as my very first piece with procreate!!! so so fun, thank you for such a great tutorial. i am a ux designer and i love the process of working will procreate so far bc it has some of my favorite parts of designing product but being able to make ~art~ at the same time. excited to learn more from you!
Hi❤ I dont know how to write to you on Etsy.. but sad to say I can’t afford anything extra this Xmas and was wondering if it’s possible with the water blender and those den fine line one to be gifted to me? Love your videos.. super inspiring ❤
Dear Calvin, I enjoyed your tutorial and purchased the recommended brushes and paper. But now, as I follow the tutorial, I realize that the "abstract round" you are using at the beginning is missing from the brush collections. :(( was I supposed to purchase more of your brushes? Sad...
I really love your tutorials, they are easy to follow and help me really understand Procreate and actually complete a project. Love your style!
