The watercolor brushes and the paper texture are products I sell on my etsy store to support the channel. These tools help you create organic looking watercolor-textures in Procreate. This is not a critical thing and you can follow this video with any brushes or textures you might already have.

I can earn money from UA-cam ads, but I turn most of them off and it's only about $140 a month. I wanted to turn off ads entirely but UA-cam is penalizing creators for that because it reduces youtube's revenue.

I loved this tutorial. It may have been long, but it was a pleasure to divide it up and do it over a few days. This might be my favorite of all time. I liked how there was a lot of opportunity to add my own style.
Thank you so much. I really enjoy coloring books and something I like is when the design of the lines allows me to have more creative freedom but without having to worry about the layout at all. Sometimes I think these tutorials can be like advanced coloring pages 🤔

Hi Calvin, thanks for this great video. What font did you use for the names under the drawings?
I got your brush set and was trying to draw the blue whale. But for the mouth and eye part your fine liner pen is kind of opaque and you still see the outlines through it. When I use it it is totally covering. Did I got something wrong in my settings?

Hi! Yes it includes the regular paper texture which is good for almost anything ☺️
Hi what paper do you use to print out your artwork?
Hi! I use a canon imageclass laser printer so I can print on any paper and it looks the same. The ink is really just a layer of thin plastic on top of the paper so it doesn't really matter if it's special paper or anything. Just needs to be smooth. I have some hot press watercolor paper that I use often and also some warm craft cardstock.

Hey 👋 so it’s two different files one with the sketches and labels and the other with the final labels. when you import the file into procreate change the blend mode to M (multiply) that way it will show you the text and the illustrations you may have to adjust the size that you want.
