Great vid Dan! And congrats on growing so fast👏 But I want to add a PSA: for those not familiar with our waters! Dan is a professional, and is familiar with fishing the jetties here alone! For the average guy, or especially new person NEVER fish that area without another person on your boat, and even a clear safety plan if someone goes overboard! That current is very swift, and in seconds you can be a hundred yards from the boat. Also our port is the busiest on the east coast, with container ships constantly coming and going. They displace 6-10 ft of water as they pass and if your too close to the jetties you can get washed up on them quickly, or swamped by the wave! Also use a trolling motor like Dan does as opposed to an anchor, as the anchor can, and usually does get hung up, and you wont be able to move away quickly when a ship passes, or something else happens! This area is dangerous and many inexperienced people have been hurt fishing it. Sorry to be a killjoy🙁 Tight Lines.

I’m a lifetime freshwater fisherman, but I have started to dabble more and more in to saltwater. I finally have a rig to do some saltwater fishing from a boat. I fish just a littles ways north of you (Edisto Island). I have learned a tremendous amount of information by watching this channel! IThank you so much for the great and informative videos! Where would one start? The information you have given on this channel is the primary reason I am now able to catch fish rather than simply fishing. I am not from the low country I am actually from Northern Michigan. I am now going to remedy that issue with a move soon. However your channeling the information I found there allowed me to be successful on my trips down when visiting. Thanks for all you do and like I have said before I look forward to meeting you in person once we get down there!

Honestly this has been a great channel. It has got me more confident on the water that I am not going to go out and get completely skunked. I have been eying the jetties all last week on google earth. I am going to have to hit them up here on the next trip or so.

Great video Dan! Always entertaining and educational! I caught a couple tagged striper in the Sav River a few years back and got a hat & info on where and when the fish were originally tagged and released. It was pretty cool. Hopefully they still do something like that with Reds. Congrats!!!

I've really enjoyed learning about how to fish the Savannah area. The tide swings are the most difficult thing to account for and you stress this issue quite a bit for safety of the fishermen
Yes the tides make it tricky. Learn the tides, find the fish.

From the beginning what I really enjoyed about your videos was how you explained each rig you were using and what types of baits etc. I’ve learned a lot of new techniques and tips for techniques I was already using. Also the quality of your videos has always been really cool! The drone footage, music selection and everything had been great! I’ve wanted to start filming some of my fishing adventures just because of watching yours. Bought my first go pro about 3 weeks ago! I also remember buying decals from you a while back and your awesome customer service and quick response made it a breeze. Great person, great content, great channel. Thanks for all you do!
