The reason for my trip to this facility was to follow up on a fellow patriots rights being violated & on the rude unprofessional behavior by the State Police. This man was just trying to peacefully exercise his 1st Amendment Right and the State Police were rude, failed to properly identify, and failed to de escalate. You can watch his original video below.

Please ask them when they run a speed trap are they baiting the driver? Nope they’re not they’re just observing the behavior and reporting on what they see to the court. You are doing no different! you’re just reporting to the court of public opinion.
I keep saying this: civil/gov't employees want YOU to put YOUR camera away, because if YOU see someone ELSE's personal or proprietary information, THEY will be in trouble.
It is the agency's responsibility NOT to allow PRIVATE information to be PUBLIC. It is not YOUR responsibility NOT to look in places you are ALLOWED to, because THEY may not do THEIR job.
Hold THEM to account. Tell THEM, if THEY show YOU information, THEY are liable. Their systems are supposed to account for this.
They have private rooms and secure areas for this type of stuff.
When I was a Marine dealing with sensetive information, I was never told "if you let someone see this information, let us know, so THEY'LL be in trouble."
If I let the information I was responsible get compromised, the other party wasn't in trouble.

38-year law enforcement officer. I've watched several auditors on UA-cam and I confess I have been educated. Our agency has just put a training session together mainly because of these videos. I also commend you on how you are non-confrontational like some others. Keep up the great work.

I wonder how the argument would be if they pulled you over and you have a gun in the back seat.... but officer that is a private area you can not look back there beyond the door glass.... I have a right to privacy and you can not look into my vehicle that is a private area. LOL. Anything an officer can see from a public area can be used against you in a court of law because "There is no expectation of privacy in PUBLIC" .... now they can not open your door (for no reason) or search your vehicle without probable cause.... that would be violating your privacy.

Their Nazi mentality never ceases to amaze me. Don’t look there, don’t listen here, sit over here, what if you could see into the rest rooms?. All bull sh!t designed to obfuscate, manipulate, subjugate or intimidate the lower castes. All LEOs need to be taken down a few levels and that begins with taking away the protection for bad behavior that would not be afforded the general citizenry, no one is above the law in our society, definitely those entrusted with enforcing those laws should not have a carve out. Secondly, all their actions with the public should be scrutinized by a rotating civilian board that reviews their recorded interactions and every time they show ignorance or blatant disregard for the laws they are supposed to uphold their salary is reduced and the reduced amount goes to a crime victims fund. Finally, it takes years of intense training and study to make an attorney, so they will be familiar with law and the reasons we have them, no police officer should be put in the streets after six months of training on how to make war against and exploit the public, that is not the way you train a group intended to protect the citizenry from violations of the law and their civil rights, that is how you train an occupying army.

I agree. LIA is great, but I believe he would have a bigger impact if he could set up some kind of auditor course. I don't know how to start such a program, but I believe the monetary and social rewards would be great if someone could figure out how to do it.

He doesn't Audit himself but definitely knows the ins and outs of dealing with Law Enforcement. His content is somewhat like LackLuster, so it is a bit different than what LIA does.

He stands his ground for his right to behave like an auditor. This is not transparency, this is pushing the boundaries of what is generally acceptable in public spaces. Auditors came up with these tactics, being argumentative and time wasting, and feigning outrage when they are politely asked to not film into private spaces.

But there ARE alot of auditors that go out looking to bait the public and officers for a reaction as they know it brings views. Let's not pretend like all auditors are professional, and know how to conduct themselves, because they don't. So its reasonable to hear an officer say that, cause it does actually happen. Now thats not what was occurring in this video, but it does happen daily and there are more than enough videos proving that... so I would say he has the right to say that.
Any officer who takes bait laid out by auditors has been trained poorly.
There are plenty of cops who do a pro forma stop and then just leave the auditor without any hassle or copsplaining.

Why can't a guy walk through the publicly accessible areas of a City Hall or whatever, recording what he can see, without being ascribed an assumed motivation? Do you accuse someone who records a class lecture of trying to bait the professor? I find it ironic that when Sean tries to stop them from giving useless directives, they get mad. But when he is obviously needing to help educate them on creating their own privacy, they try to cut them off.

I'm a retired cop and I have a hard time absorbing that Sean is baiting cops. To these officers on scene, when it comes to the constitution and it is being followed, how do you get baiting a cop? That's the officers totally not listening to what Sean is telling them. The huge issue in a police life is the word EGO. Remember that badge was not suppose to boost ego's, it for law breakers and up hold the law, not a feelings officer or your judgment, specifically law.
