I think those people treat video games kinda like sports, which are designed to be competitive. In reality, most people play video games to have fun, so thats why they seem toxic in video games but would probably be a little bit more accepted in a football stadium.
Happened to me once when I was a lot newer to the game. A pyro kept killing me over and over even though I was trying to be friendly. He was talking mad shit but I didn’t even respond. We ended up being the last two on the server and I decided to actually try. Dominated him and he went quite and left. Lol (I was a scout if that matters)
You know that one guy isn't wrong. Sometimes it feels like you have legit no area splash as soldier but when against a soldier you get hit by rockets that feel like they shouldn't hit.
this is probably caused by collision jank, certain stairs and potrusions that collide with projectiles and players can sometimes fully remove splash damage. this probably happened alot in maps with weird stairs in general, like pipeline.
It is a damn shame to see the game in this state. I have 15k hours, and have played since 2013. I remember this game being super fun and chill at its peak, and people like this were quieted REALLY fast. A few years of lack of updates will do this to a game, the slugs like him start to get a voice when the regs dip out. Glad to see you put him in his fatherless place.

Something i like to say to just quiet people is, "I dont take responses from a toe sucker" because it shuts down anyone who sucks toes and confuses people who dont
