When you step into Valheim and this theme starts, paired with the beauty of the wind through the meadow grass and the sun filtering through the tree canopies, you really feel the magic in the air.
I feel it just adds to the feel of coming home, this meadow song. You could be beyond the sea and live thousands of adventures, sailing through storm and the great snakes... the ship full of trophies... but when you see the shore, the sun shine and your house afar long awaiting your return and the meadow envelopes your heart... for a moment nothings matter... Feels so damn right, feels like I’m finally home. Abit emotional by the end of this text... shared some of my last moments with my best friend on this game... sometimes before I fuck up our friendship... hits like a truck. I miss you brother... I’m sorry... I wish I could of been a better friend... a better person... you were my home but I choose to be homeless... you are my meadow but I can’t sail back to you... I miss us... I hate myself... forgive me This song is for us I realize that now, where ever you are... rather where ever I am... for I’m the one whom sailed far away in the storm without you... I miss the meadow of your company... I miss home... I miss you Logan
Ive been playing WoW for better part of 17 years. When this gem came out I was instantly hooked and completely stopped playing wow to focus 200 hours+ on valheim with a friend. It was seriously addicting and we foolishly stayed up way too late many days of the week, we just couldn't stop playing. It's been a year now, but it's already the good old days. What a fantastic very much welcomed adventure it was!
exactly the same here. Played wow since 2004, only vanilla, and then classic etc... but this gem took me and 1 other hardcore friend, and 2 other casuals by storm.. We 'splitted' and speed run the entire game.. for 14-30 days we did only this.. first thing when i woke up before work.. and first thing when coming home.. and last thing before bedtime... Only change i would do.. was not to 'read' up on stuff .. i wished i could have relaxed more with it.. and playing it blindly... but i guess.. i am a semi-rusher (must be the many fresh wow runs from 1-60... urgh..)
I haven't played this game in a very long time but when I did play it I was hooked for a week straight usually with survival games other then Minecraft I get bored but this game wasn't like other survival games the soundtrack the building combat I loved it and this game is also difficult unlike other survival games
I won’t lie, I’m not going to be playing this if it ever comes to ps4 bc of no mods or any QoL updates from the devs, but the ost for this game is top notch. Nails the atmosphere of each biome perfectly
In just a few years people will come back here and remember the good ol days
these are the simple times
I already associate it with hanging with friends and building bases, since meadows were nice safe areas to build
I doubt historians will refer to 2020-21 as 'the good ol days,' heh.
@lolseagull WHAT PART OF THIS IS SIMPLE
so true 💚

I totally agree with you, both the music and the sensory come together in perfect harmony, to create a beautiful picture.
YOU COULD EAT ANOTHER BITE
Another mushroom 😭
THE BEES ARE HAPPY
BOAR LOVES YOU

THE FOREST IS MOVING
POV: You're coming home with your ship loaded with ore waiting to be furnaced
good ol' spring playing this game for the first time
one of my best purchases ever
wish I could forget it all and play it again
I suppose we must try hitting out head hard enough to forget the game, but not hard enough to erase all the data.
already nostalgic about this game
the bees are happy
Most video game music I turn off because it gets annoying, but this game's music never does
I never turn it off but I do find it does occasionally get annoying. But Valheim literally never does
I'm already having nostalgia for this game and it's only been a week since I last played it
Weird how you don’t realize you’re making nostalgia until afterwards.
this game was something else bro
Can't wait for the updates 🙌
@@RubbaDubby kinda....still waiting 🤕

Goated music
I really wish Meadow held more than the very first openings of the game i miss this music once Black Forest holds more pull thanks to the ore.

Shit, man... I had a very similar story, playing with my wife and friends together on the same server for hours, way past midnight.
Almost 300 hours into this game and i am still not bored by its music or anything else.
this is a banger
Everytime i play this game this music always makes me so relaxed
Thank you brother for this beautiful piece of art
I'm just about due for another playthrough. Damn this game is awesome.
THE TREES ARE MOVING
that is a very nice sounding piece of music I wish there was more like it in games it reminds me of my old mmorpg days
i am forced to listen to this for 90% of my playtime in valheim and im not going to turn it off 👍
i love this sound so much and this game is amazing
Valheim was the last game that I felt like a kid when playing
nostalgia, im half way thru the game:)

perfect
I fell asleep listening to this
This theme will age like "Sweden" from Minecraft soundtrack, at least for some people like me.
Here before it blows up
"Me and my shield-brothers punching eachother to death a few seconds after spawning." music.
this competes with nintendo music imo

Sometimes it reminds me of the music from Khorinis from the game Gothic 2
