While in a way you’re right, Mojang gave us a way to time travel. Add an installation of 1.7.10, 1.4.7, or anything from old Minecraft. It may not be the exact same thanks to Microsoft, but we can still feel those memories

Agreed it’s just very nostalgic it makes me feel somewhat happy but sad at the same time. I’m only 18 as of now but I remember being 8 years old playing this game with my little brothers and my cousins along with my neighbors Hunter and Aida that I befriended when we first moved into are small town and after school or during those warm summer days we were either outside riding bikes,playing at our local park or inside playing Minecraft building tall hotels giant houses taming wolf army’s listening to minecraft parody songs play throughs and just anything that we wanted. They moved away when I was 12 and I haven’t talked to them in so many years now and it really gets me in my feels just wishing I could go back in time even for a short while to be able to re live some of those experiences and at the time I always had things to look forward to the next day. Idk hearing this music and thinking about life back then is crazy to me cause I never thought about it to much back then but nowadays anytime I hear this music I can’t help but think about those times and the joy it brought me during my childhood. Sorry for the rant had to get that off my chest there’s a lot more but I won’t make anyone have to listen to my nonsense 😕

minecraft has been that one thing that i’ve kept going back to over and over. i didn’t have a lot growing up. home wasn’t healthy, and life was painful. minecraft was a beautiful place that i could always escape to. nobody could hurt me there, and i could do whatever i wanted without getting in trouble. i only ever had pocket edition, so i remember the world having a border, like a big block floating in infinite nothingness. i remember the first time i played. i was overcome with wonder at the sheer freedom and liberty i had at my fingertips. i remember when the world border got bigger. i remember the nether reactor. i remember villages with gravel roads and simpler houses. i remember total creative freedom when in the real world, my creativity was seen as a bad thing.
i used to build my own towns. i’d try to steal villagers from villages to populate my towns, and i had a lot of trouble at first. then i tried to make the villagers as comfortable as possible in their new homes.
minecraft treated me better than the people i lived with ever did.
life was hell. minecraft was heaven.

Whenever I hear the good old days of Minecraft, I get hit with this wave of just pure joy and sadness. I think of Technoblade, old Dream, old mrbeast, markiplier, jacksepticeye, and just the OGs of UA-cam. And outside of UA-cam, I remember old friends who I used to pay with, the outside world being pure brightness, and waking up in the morning to make myself a bowl of cereal and watch Cartoon Network (shows like Clarence, The Amazing World of Gumball, and so much more). I think that life has now gotten to complicated, I'm in Highschool now trying to pass it so that way I can make a difference in the world. And kids now won't get to experience the childhood we had, they have ishowspeed, Andrew Tate, iPhones, new Fortnite, and they won't be able to see the world as we did cause the world they see is through a screen. I would like to thank any content creator from the start of UA-cam to 2019 cause they really did change my life. I would also like to thank Mojang, Roblox, Rockstar Sudios, and all of those online flash games creator. And if you don't understand my comment then you really messed up your childhood. I do miss the old days where life was just better and brighter. And as so many smart people said "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."

Literally my childhood memories would be watching Steven universe or the amaizing world of gumball, along with a bunch of other og Minecraft players. Kids now will get the childhood we had. As your family did. We create our own childhood, it does not have to do with what we consume (at least not fully). Childhood is something we do not control, it is build by ourselves without knowing. Kids now will experience this, childhood, as almost everyone has once done. And they'll be proud of it, because they will love these days when they get older, just as we do nowadays...

Microsoft is adding corrupted moderation in minecraft, where you can get falsely banned forever and never play single player worlds. The old minecraft, fully owned by mojang and mojang alone was the true minecraft. Never forget that.
i come back to it on my switch here and there always have a blast remaking a world and exploring. its the friends that i made that made minecraft a special experience, its sad to miss them the way we do. can only pray theyre living a good life out there safely

Indeed it does. Whenever I hear these playlists, my mind instantly recalls forgotten memories of my times playing Minecraft. As we all do. Transitioning into adulthood, these songs hit my heart so hard. Maybe it's nostalgia like this that remind me about the times when I imagined growing up would never happen.

i remember spending hours and hours on minecraft servers meeting random people on prison or skyblock servers.. building things on creative plots or doing survival games... making new friends and them disappearing forever... it's funny though because one of my best friends today i met off a server a couple years ago.. 🤣
I had one world for 4 years because I didn't know how to make another world and was so content in that little world and I didn't even leave the chunk once in those 4 years because I was so happy just sitting in my tree house watching the sun go down and listening to the music as I fell asleep irl, good times and I'm glad I found this because it's reminded me i still have some good memories to look back on

i love the fact that even though we are all so different, the one thing that unites us is the memories we’ve all formed to these notes. i’ll never forget the days of carefree smiling that came along with that little crafting table.
The crafting table that spawned a thousand adventures. All of us making a few tools and weapons, then heading out into the infinite beyond.
I think people associate so closely with Minecraft because the journey of the game is such an allegory for life. We learn, we play, we adventure and we grow. One day, we grow beyond the game we love so much. That doesn’t mean we no longer love the game or the memories but it does mean that, for all of us, we’ll log off for the last time.
The next chapter of that ultimate adventure, life, has begun.
For everyone who cries when listening to this playlist: Guys, there are no good days or bad days. Old minecraft was something that you experienced and now you can still learn new things, still have fun. Just don't waste your time. You closed allready one story in your live and now is the time, to get new inspirations. Live is more worthy that only some memories from game. Every time I played Minecraft, I felt like the character in the game was really me. Every moment I played; it was me mining. It was me fighting. Now that I can't play Minecraft as often, I feel like I something in my life is missing. Even though I know what is missing in my life I can't change my schedule. Your children would experience gta 6 instead of sanandreas for example, isn't that a shame? They won't appreciate the evolution, since it is already absurd compared to SA poligons. From GTA 5 to GTA 6, from 3d models to more detailed 3d models with more poligons, that's why we need to know just how lucky we are my friend, i was born at 2007 and internet just appeared out of nowhere, we grew up with that stuff getting better and better, we followed this traject! This hit way too hard. This brings me back to when life was more simple- all I did was have fun and be happy. Now everything is more complicated, and life is only getting harder. This makes me so happy to hear because it just reminds me of how happy I was then- with my friends, in this fantasy world that *I* controlled. I get to do what I wanted- and I didn't have to follow social norms. I got to explore, make new friends, have all the time I wanted to myself or together. The only thing I had to worry about was feeding my digital dogs. I wish I could go back. I'm sure a lot of other people do too. This game was more of a life for me than anything in the real world.
And to anyone out there relating to this- don't listen to the people out there. You're frickin awesome.

There is one think that minecraft douse that no other game can and thats going to an older version of the game so if you ever want a nesalga rush go to a really old version of the game and if you find the right point you may even feel like you were back in time enjoying the game with your friends
Guys, if you read this. Good. Listen, life can still be as it was mostly.
But honestly things can revert back elsewise, you just have to work hard. Let me be honest you're going to be miserable when you do work hard day in and day out but it's better then working your entire life and having that same misery every day. Learn how to hustle, start a business, maybe start multiple when you get the hang of it, have it registered with the local chamber of commerce, etc. Then you can do other things like dropshipping and investing. Doing all this, studying it first every day then working on it once you have your notes fully memorized will actually make you way more happy then most people in this world. Just remember things wont go by smoothly in the beginning, that first deal is always the hardest, but i believe in you. You can rather study anything you want through the internet or have courses from the real world or hustlers university. I know most people call it a scam but believe me it has so many courses and can teach so much. Best of luck.

If you got to play Minecraft from the very beginning up until around 2015, you experienced a magical piece of history. Not saying the game isn't still amazing but those first years were incredible

Couldn't agree more, I used to have the rule "1 day a week" and when the weekend came Minecraft was always the game I played. I never got to the diamonds in the PS3 edition and I always got to the iron and create a new world but they were the happiest days of my life.
I started playing in 2016 or earlier but it’s just as special to me:)
The game is just blocks, yet it has such a impact on people childhood or honestly just life. The music is so nostalgic, and this game really has amazing memories with friends. ❤️

Minecraft music brings me back to my eight year old self sitting in my grandma's basement with my little brother and my four little cousins with our Ipads and Kindles, building diamond houses and blowing worlds up with TNT. It brings me back to sitting in my older cousins room as I watched them and a few other older cousins play on their Xbox 360. It brings me back to sitting in my room in a small apartment watching Stampy, Popularmmos, LDshadowlady, Lionmaker, SkyDoesMinecraft, and tons of other nostalgic youtubers. My parents may have been emotionally absent from my childhood, but Minecraft was there to help me. I'm now 17, almost 18, and I don't think I'll ever outgrow minecraft. I hope one day I can relive my lost childhood through my future kids or someone else who I can call mine.
I'm 20 years old, there are 4 constants in my life, my father, God, my morals, and Minecraft.

Minecraft helped me through depression. I just remember playing it hours on end without a care in the world its a reminder that you can find happiness when you're world becomes sad.

Minecraft is and always will be a completely timeless classic. I was there when it was just a simple browser game, and I'm still there now. I may have come and gone from the game frequently, but every time I come back, it's to do something special: spend time with people I love. Back when it was just a silly browser game with little to nothing to do, my friends and I played it for hours.
And it was through Minecraft that I bonded with my current best friends. I remember waking up to get ready for work one day, finding out my boss told everyone to stay home because the weather was bad, and feeling something I hadn't felt in ages. I immediately called my friend and asked her if she'd like to play Minecraft.
I'm 30. I had two snow days. And I did nothing but play Minecraft with people I love when I had that time off. It was something I never thought I'd be able to experience again. What started as something fun we did while I had nothing else to do turned into a regular thing. My friends and I started playing Minecraft all the time. We started making cool gifts for each other. We wrote loving letters to each other and hand delivered them (in real life!). It was like clockwork. We'd call each other (on the phone, no less!) and just wander around, build cool things, and do whatever we wanted, like I used to all those years ago.
I remember when it was my birthday, I wasn't expecting or planning to really do much of anything. My best friends teleported me to where they were, and they told me to turn around. They had built a whole silly cake out of wool for me, with music and signs with lovely words, and chests to open with goodies in them. I know it sounds stupid, but I started crying. It was a very kind and loving gesture. I love my friends so much for what they have done for me, for the things they have let me feel again, and I wouldn't be able to say that if it weren't for this game.
Minecraft is and always will be a timeless classic. We're all adults. We're all people with lives and other responsibilities. Yet something about this game pulled us together in a way that can't be fully articulated with words alone. It will always be special to me and there is no other game in the world I would want to replace it with. Friends may come and go, people may drift apart, but you will ALWAYS have the memories. You will ALWAYS have a place to go back to and relive those experiences again, and again, and again. Maybe with the same faces you love, and maybe with new people you're still learning to love.
This scrappy game with blocks will be there for you through everything, just waiting for you to explore it with people who love you.
i teared up a little bit reading this. i think minecraft is a game that can be perfectly described with its own name, similar to how Gandalf in the lord of the rings says “I’m Gandalf, and Gandalf means… me.” there’s no other game like it. sure, you can look at game sales and see that it’s the best selling video game in the world, but that’s not what i mean. if you look at the community that minecraft has created, and the people that minecraft has brought together, you find that minecraft is a whole lot deeper than just blocks and bug-eyed sheep. i never had friends to play it with, but i’ve read many a story like yours that describe the beauty of minecraft and its inherent ability to bring people together.

I love this comment sum up why minecraft is so great. But it also brings me a great deal of sadness seeing many youtuber that were in the minecraft space either retire or sadly past away. Minecraft is all about the unknowns as possible. The memories and marks you make can last forever.

I used to play a lot of video games before but now I'm working and I'm not playing anything because I want to upgrade my pc first and then I'll play those games that I couldn't.

Listening to this is the hardest possible thing. Youre just at the verge of crying but the tears wont come out. You remember the happy days and then realize its long gone. Bitter but sweet.

I remember when I was little, I would go into my parents world and build little dirt houses all over the place and hide their stuff in the houses. They lost a lot of items because of it.

I lost my childhood best friend recently, she would come over to mine and we would play Minecraft on the Xbox 360 for hours, at one point I think we played for 13hrs straight and we would play in turns as I didn’t know how to connect the second controller haha I miss build silly things like skyscrapers and statues with her, ig you never really cherish those memories till you lose them and the memories all come flooding back, Ty for the upload it’s appreciated
when i was like 5 i was playing mc pocket edition and i built a hotel that was really high up and i put daylight sensors because i thought they were cupcakes or cookies or something and then i reached build limit and thought creative had a thing where you cant place a certain amount of blocks anymore

Ain't that the truth though? Man what I'd give to wake up and it be May 2010 again when the golden years of my adult life began, and Mincraft was one of the cornerstones of the foundation of those golden years. I fully understand we'll never get those years back. People will say the whole, "Don't be sad it's over, be happy it happened." - but to me that's just copium. Those years in 2011 felt better because they WERE better. This music is simply the timeless reminder of that era that is now just a memory to those of us lucky enough to have been there to experience it.

This hits so damn hard, I still remember when I was 7 and I had a 360 which I would play minecraft on day and night, how I secretely played at night being as quiet as possible. Going to school in the morning and after school literally running home to my 360 to play minecraft again. This music reminds me so damn much, the nostalgia is unimaginable. I cant believe how fast that time went by. Now Im graduating from school fully, enlisting into the military and going into my real life. I will never forget those days. It’s good to sometimes come back to these memories, the world and Minecraft is so much different today. It’s good to listen to these, as I think of me and my good friends getting on Minecraft, maybe building a house, trying to beat the ender dragon, or maybe just messing around. I loved those memories.

minecraft was one of my friends most favorite games… i’m sad now that they’re gone- i can’t even remember if they were a girl or a guy, they’re just a blur in my memories now, but the moments i shared with then will forever remain in my heart… i still play the game to this day, and yet, the experience is will never be the same as it was. i’ve met so many bullies on the game, it wasn’t this way 4 years ago. i miss the old times when everyone would just play in peace. this game is so comforting and so fun to play, but truly, 2019 was the best minecraft play i’ve ever experienced.
Yeah I remember around 2018 was when I played "factions" with friends or just other players and now I can't remember most if not all of those who I played with and I am not in contact with them either but I will forever remember how fun that experience was, and now I encounter people who don't seem to just play for fun like how people played during that time but that could be just me. I hope we all continue to enjoy and make memories out of this wonderful game

I remember playing this with the boys, it was so fun and enjoyable. We built our own houses imagining that it is our reality where we get to live together, we fought in the Nether, we fought over small things, and overall, we had a life away from reality. Not until everyone of us had to go through college, some of us work, everyone just don't have the time anymore to play the game. I can still vividly remember the times this game brought us freedom and peace, along with each other.
A time when looks didn't matter your grades were fine and you had nothing to worry about... best years ever, real shame those times are over, real damn shame
ill never forget my first ever time opening that game. back in 2014 When i started my first ever world and i called it new York, I had a huge dirt house and I felt so happy but it wasn't the only memory i have of it, because of Minecraft i found my significant other, when i was 13 i played on a prison server and i became very well known and i left that server when i started highschool and once i graduated i came back to that server for the memories and that was when i met him and we have been inseparable ever since, and he only knew me when i first logged on cause old players would talk about me and I never knew there was this huge group of people who missed me and wanted to get to know me as well. I will never forget my memories with this game because this game gave me such a wonderful future and i have it to thank for all that.

I remember a long time ago me and my parents had made a world and built a castle I was so young that I was afraid of the outside and one distinct memory was when I built a whole rail system to the nearest village and it was wonderfull. And you comment stoked the fire of that memory thank you

I still remember my first underground base when minecraft was a sandbox on browser in 2009. Nothing can ever replicate those firsts in minecraft, and while it still is fun to this day exploring a world like minecraft was special
I started playing Minecraft as an adult and it makes me nostalgic just like most of the people that started as children. I started playing with my child. It was so much fun playing with her back in the day. We would play for hours. Pretending we were on another world. I was the Miner and she was the builder. She got really good at building. She would learn from other youtubers. And then one day she grew up and started playing with her friends instead of her dad. I think that is why this music moves me so. Brings me back to when she was younger and more innocent and wanted to play with me still. Oh well it was fun while it lasted.
When I die I swear that I will feel again what I felt a few years ago, tears are shed, a lot of nostalgia, that little child's heart was happy, the default music. Finally sadness.

Recuerdo su mundo, su montaña rusa gigante construida con un bloque negro que rodeaba toda su gran fortaleza, o mis casas de arena cuando instalamos Minecraft en el Ipad de mi padre y en ese entonces la pocket edition era muy limitada a unos cuantos bloques y modo de juego, igual su mapa. Recuerdo cuando me mude de ciudad y tuve mi primer celular, allí descargue Minecraft y comencé mi primer mundo sola, recuerdo mi casa de madera de la selva, era mi tipo de madera favorita, recuerdo cuando tomaba un barco y navegaba por el infinito rió de mi mundo, en ese entonces no había coordenadas así que nunca me salia del rio y no tomaba caminos extraños para regresar por donde llegue... me encanta este soundtrack, me puedo quedar escribiendo mucho mas pero debo seguir estudiando para mis parciales... quisiera a veces devolver el tiempo, me gusta mi vida actual pero el pasado también tuvo cosas muy lindas que me gustaría repetir

Life is to hard. I sometimes think about ending it. But everytime I come back to the old Minecraft I would play with my family from day to night and I see that they will miss me. But when arguments with my mom happen,turning my worries, into her own as she thinks she’s a failure of a mother because I quit doing something she forced me to do in the first place…that’s when I think about it again. I want to go back to being a kid. Before my mom became what I sometimes don’t recognize. I want my old family back. The nostalgia. The love. The warmth. Even the anger when someone would blow up my house in Minecraft. Anything just to go back to the good times. Before anyone had any expectations for me…

Brooo this hits hard. I still play but the music brings me back to when my sister and I used to split screen on our Xbox 360 and just build things or start new worlds. Such fun, we even played lego pirates of the Caribbean and Lego Jurassic World.
The memories of playing pocket addition with here are still fresh too. Now she’s moved across the country and her boyfriend created a realm for all three of us, they work so I just tend to their crops and animals

I'm Brazilian and since 2016 I've been playing Minecraft all my life and listening to these songs I cried just remembering how much fun I had at the time these songs changed my life...

this video felt like a warm hug. i miss being young. it was simple, it was calm. those hot summer days where you would go to the beach with your friends and splash around in the ocean, or make sand castles. those breezy autumn days when you would play minecraft in your bedroom with a jumper your grandma knit for you. those cold winter days when you could wrap yourself in a blanket and watch a movie, or take a nap without having to stress about school or friends, you would just drift out of reality into your own little world. those warm spring days when you would go on picnics with your friends and family, or take your dogs for a walk down to the park with your parents. it was nicer back then.
the dopamine hits when u think of the memories, but I guarantee if u open the game, you just feel nothing, those feels were once in a life time :( real life hit us with university, girls/guys, friends, bills and other hobbies, but even so, this music still brings back the memories in perfect detail, lets be grateful for that at least.
