Valheim was the highlight of my year. for weeks and hundreds of hours I was in another world. Won't forget this experience
Yes I agree 100%
I too agree 100%
It ain't over yet! 😁

This game will go down in history, I'm already feeling nostalgic from this music
Same
I can't wait to jump onto it again once they finish the new updates!
I love how praised it is without even being officially released yet, very cool
Dude. Listening today and it’s hitting hard 😢 I miss the fort with the homies!
"This game will go down in history" highly doubt that.
It's crazy how music from a game released less than a year ago can feel so nostalgic.
Not really released tbh, it's just in early access and will be for a while
Called good music design ;)
This music makes my heart overflow with so many different emotions
Being the Wolf King himself, the Lord of Winter and War, the Executioner, Leman Russ, king of Fenris, it is understandable.
@@dogalrorn ah, how fortuitous to find you here, brother. I imagine its hard to play valheim with only one hand though
@@stephenrego6065 I have my serfs playing it for me. Hows your shattered pride? Havr you compenasted enough playing this easy children's game to atone to your past sins?
@@dogalrorn ooof ouch, both my hearts would be stung brother, if i still had my other one.
3 years ago, my dad, my brother, a friend and I decided to play this game because we thought it might be fun, and it was, we played it for over 300 hours together. Every night was great, beating bosses, discovering new biomes and having fun. After beating the final boss, we played less and less until one day we didn't play anymore. Months later my family distanced themselves, my father and my brother did not speak for more than a year, due to personal problems, and we no longer speak with my friend, he made his life his own, and he no longer plays. So I'm here listening to this music, somehow I can hear their laughter in the background, hoping that maybe we can play together one more time.
That clarinet tho.
that GUITAR tho.
I love me some wind instruments.
Valheim with a party of friends was an unmatched experience
It lacks occasional deer barking
2:00 - 2:25 gives me goosebumps all the time
came to the comments just to look for that person to speak about this part
@@kevinzhu1727 ❤️🔥
When im playing the that is the part that makes me say "Damn I love this games music"
This is so extremely similar to Final Fantasy X soundtrack
The best part for me
I so appreciate that someone didn't just rip the song and paste it onto a static image, they actually loaded up the game and sat there to capture live footage of the place the music comes from.
Respect for the artistic immersion, really nice move.
it's looped so that day doesn't pass into night
@@Mopey024 or they used a command to make it day permanently if there is one
@@sicklysphere8666 maybe, but the clouds are the same every day in the video, which I don't believe to be the case in the game. I could be wrong though
@@sicklysphere8666 also where is the single grayling that comes to tickle your toes?
@Caleb Cox it's called walls
Being diagnosed with heavy depression and anxiety disorder AND adhd this game has gotten me completely immersed and completely addicted... Its been over a year since we plaued this and it just makes me want to cry at how at peace I was then, exploring the waters, finding a cozy place to live. Going through increasing crafting recipes...
palworld is waiting for you brother
Brother, I played this game on release. So that was like what 1-2 years ago now? Me and my friends got a private server and started going to work, the jokes, the laughs had all while farming wood or stone to make our elegant wooden base this music was playing in the background. I didn’t realize I was there. I was at the spot we gamers always talk about, losing myself in a video game. Completely submersed by the visual, mechanical and incredible music playing just behind it all. The “good old days” are here. They are now. We just need to find them and appreciate them.
@@livetoskate111 was just letting you know there was another similar game when i found out about it
@@TacticsHammer I was talkin to neo
Lmao this guy said Palworld, get real dude that game is a lifeless rip off
Never expected to feel nostalgia for something so new. Doesn’t feel like it was 2,5 years ago. Feels like it’s been 8 years minimum. I think videogames stopped surprising me after Valheim. My last true feeling of childhood will be strongly associated with this game forever
Eu também brother parece que faz anos
I played this game a lot when my childhood dog was dying. I still think of him when i hear it :(
Big hugs my dude

this comment kinda made me tear up man,
THE BEES ARE HAPPY
The relaxing music you listen to as you deforestise the meadows to build a giant house and basically turn it into a giant plains
Just make a tree farm after you built your starter. Way more efficient
Without the Fulings thankfully
Just making the Meadows look more like a meadow.

I grew up in a rural boom-to-bust town, where there weren't a lot of nice places to go other than the woods, the creek, and the backyard. Our neighbors looked after each other so we were allowed to roam pretty freely at a young age. A lot of my memories were of looking for places to build a little base or hangout. I used abandoned house porches, unused turkey pens, and little cliffs on the sides of the hills. This music makes me think of those memories
This game isn’t even finished and it’s one of the best I’ve played!
And it's far from a triple A And far better
So many good memories here. This game was like my Minecraft of 2011
Definitely has been thrown into my special games catalog. Little Big Planet, Minecraft, Terraria, Cubeworld, Red Dead 2 and now Valheim
This is the best piece of ambient music composed for a game in all of 2021. I sincerely mean that. It's the perfect backing track for that point in the game. The meadows are about getting used to this world, its mechanics, its enemies, and its beauty. It's slow, it's comfortable, it's beautiful. Just like those first hours.
Was one of the best survival games. Rainy days, no work and hours of valheim.
best wood chopping game ever
This music is the only thing that kept me sane while trying to herd wild boars into a pen
what do you get for herding them? don't the reproduce or produce something?
@@blitz4634they can reproduce if you give them food, but all they drop is leather scraps and sometimes meat so I dont think they are that useful, unless you just want a pet
This reminds me of playing Valheim in the summer for like 5 hours a day man how is this ost so nostalgic. I need to start playing again
New update is supposed to drop soon
I hope you've been playing recently because mistlands just dropped and it's 🔥🥵
@@skillerkillero9344 Gonna play it soon waiting for my friend to get the game
This game seriously has the potential to become what Minecraft was for my generation. It's just the perfect combo of mecanics, exploration and nostalgic music even though it's the first time you hear it.
One of my favorite games of all time. This track is great for work. I feel like an ancient scribe rather than a keyboard monkey.
This inspired me to head back to my first base in the meadows and finish up my mansion I started almost 2 years ago
I bet in a few years this music is gonna be so nostalgic.
it already feels like it is. Hits the spot musicially, reminds me of something from the old days. Like ES Oblivion or something
Hi, nearly 2024 now. Your comment has become true.
@@GooseGuzzyfacts bro I play it with my homies almost everyday 2 days ago we beat yagluth
3:34 when that low tone hits i fucking love it
I think my favorite part of Valheim is finding an abandoned structure, setting up a workbench, repairing the dilapidated walls and boards and replacing missing sections, and creating a little home away from home. They end up being very helpful and feel very cozy.
I listen to this when I'm stressed/exhausted/sad. it helps a lot :)
This makes me miss the game a lot. I would lose endless hours in the game with the incredible music track. The meadows and sea fairing tracks are incredible. Time to play again!
1 part Fable and 2 parts Skyrim.
I love it
2021 was a good year for gaming
This is excellent music and this game is going to become a classic. It will be one of those games that is talked about for years. Superb.
The time my Gf and I had in this game is pure magic, we'll never forget the fond memories we collected over our time.
Even a year later we still think about the time we had there.
Valheim reminds me of all the games I played as a kid/teenager:
Meadows - Legend of Zelda Wind Waker
Black Forest - The Witcher 2
Swamps - Dark Souls
Mountain - Skyrim
Plains - ??? (Haven’t reached that far yet)
never played fable? summer field for the meadows
The Plains would be like Zelda Botw
What about sailing?
@@JetWarrior Windwaker
Hearing these blissful winds and strings playing as I crest the hill, come into port, or stepping through the nexus portals always warms the soul knowing I've made it back home to the meadows.
Holy shit, talk about being instantly transported mentally. I can't wait for the full release of this game.
>not a single ad in the video

Valheim got me through lockdown this game will always have a special place in my heart
This track is really nostalgia-inducing... This theme, the "Home Base" theme and the "Sailing" theme are my favorite ones!
So many memories of the first time I played the game and built my first house
Game of the Year 2021 for me
Such a legendary game
This track is my happy place.
This game has such chili vibes. The music in valheim is making my day.
This music warms my heart. I couldn't love it more, it's like if someone took the essence of peace and tranquility and distilled it into a song. Incredible :)
when this game came out i only played until the swamps but i spent so much time in the meadows just building and enjoying the cozy vibes
The sound of the crackling fire in-game would be great :)
so peaceful and pleasant. No matter how tough the mission was or how many health pots i slammed, its always worth it to return on a longship to a nice base in the meadows.
I needed this peace. Thank you.
just started playing Valheim with friends and this game is already making me have great experiences. its such a great game
0:23 my favorite time in this music.
this song makes me wanna cry but happily
I feel that crescendo of swelling emotion at 5:40 every time I hear this. I learn for that very moment. It sticks in my memory and is a calm place for me.
After so long without ads interrupting they finally caved in.
I love how the intro is more - "melancholic" - but then it becomes almost - whimsical. Indicating the peacefulness of the meadows while subtly foreshadowing what is to come. A warm welcome to the subtle idiosyncrasies of what is Valheim. That is to say. what isn't Valheim?
Joe you're a legend
the meadows music is just like the Bully ambient music, no matter how much you hear it, you never get tired of hearing
as another Joe, I thank you for your service Joe
I remember the day my buddy told me to get valheim was the day it actually came out. Not many people had it then and it wasn't blowing up on UA-cam yet so I didn't think much of it but when the four of us loaded up into our first world it seemed foreign and new after we got dropped from the heavens by a giant bird (which I now know has importance in the lore) Where it was storming and chaotic at first once we got our bearings we made our way to the coast which is what we always do to get an idea of where to go in survival games, well I was the first one to make it to the beach and all I remember was running over a small hill out from the clustered tree line to see the water glittering in the light and the sun (MY GOD THE SUN) I just stopped there staring for what seemed to be forever at how beautiful this game was, my friends saw my map cursor stop in place and thought I had disconnected but when they got over the hill they sat there with me one by one and we just, sat there watching the light dance off the surface of the water. I hadn't enjoyed games for a long time since I was a kid, that feeling of a new uncharted world that is all yours to explore at whatever pace you want to explore it in kind of feeling. Remembering back to when we were all standing there looking out at the vast ocean I remember feeling like a kid again, I shed a tear because for the first time in a long long time I actually felt happy with just sitting there watching the little thing like the fish glimmering from the reflection through the water or the slight breeze that would paint pollen through the wind. I am happy that in my lifetime I got to play a truly amazing game that invokes child like happiness in all the people who play it. (I am also happy to say that we started are second playthrough about a week ago and are taking our time with the little things that make this game truly special)
im not one for mythology games or boss fight games but something about this game has a grasp on me. even though the textures arent "high quality" its still absolutely stunning and the music is perfect for the tone. i fell in love with the building mechanics and the fact it has minecraft-like procedural generation. this is the first game (ive played at least) that i can confidently say its comparable to minecraft and ive been playing that since pocket edition. the vibe this game puts off is immaculate
This is so chill
This is the perfect music for studying or working
TRANQUILO HERMANO SI LEES ESTO...NO ERES EL UNICO QUE SE SIENTE ASI!!ANIMOS
4 years now and the game in so good I can't believe it
This game just opened my long forgotten feelings of exploring new things, tthe same feeling I had many years ago while playing minecraft. Thank you devs .
I finished this game about 6 six months ago, and it already sounds so nostalgic.
Never gotten into this game that much, but dear god do i love this soundtrack. Wish i can get into this game again and find someone to play with
I fell asleep to this yesterday, that's how peacful this theme is
All that's missing is the occasional whine of a deer, a neck growling nearby, and once in awhile, the sound of wild boar attack.
Joe is an MVP for this
Not complete without the squealing boars randomly ramming you and deers running away when they smell you from the wind
And a troll coming out of nowhere.
@@xm3405 Yeah, always annoying when I see a troll in the frikin Meadows area.
so beautiful its like coming home after a hard day
put this in the background of ur zoom meetings its a great idea trust me
I always think of the original Diablo Tristram theme when listening to this. It just creates so much atmosphere.
Been using this for study sessions, thanks for putting this together!
This makes my soul rest
Respect for the guy staying here a whole hour without getting attacked by not even 1 boar or grayling
This music has made me decide that I'm building a giant underground tunnel system. I just unlocked the pickaxe so I can now dig. It'll make travel to me and my friends second base in the black Forrest much easier
2:15-2:25 Amazing, it reminds of a certain part of the Cerobi Steppe OST from FFXII
FFXII OST is my favorite ost of all time, and I fell in love with Valheims music right away, there are definitely similarities
I miss this game. Wish there was new content and my other friends were still playing.
New content coming soon for the most lands and mountains!! If you need a friend too play with checkout the Valheim official discords, there’s always people looking too play together
Have you tried the Mistlands update? And there are some initial concepts for the Ashlands. Valheim is getting bigger and better.
True game of the year of 2021
Amazing, minecraft/terraria tier indie game
I didn't know that there was a big tree above me.
When I looked up and saw that I was like "Woah."
Idk how (I do have threories tho) 3 people made one of the best games of the decade by themselves. When I played it for the first time and instantly lost track of time playing it for hours, I knew it would be an instant future classic. Thanks guys
I wish other open world games have meaningful day-night cycle... Waking up in the morning in valheim and seeing its still dark and the sun is slowly rising is honestly something else.
Sigo viniendo aquí luego de 2 años para recordar los momentos de felicidad que pasé con este juego
we listened to this while wiring a panel
that feeling of relief when you run from a later zone while being chased by mobs back into the peaceful meadow
Comprei na promoção agr da steam eu e meu amigo, um arrependimento tremendo não ter jogado essa maravilha antes, eu te amo valheim
I'm Wet and my Bees are Happy!
Please do a loop for Home Base next, it's by far the most relaxing theme out of them all.
Valhiem is a game when you don’t play a lot but when you do you loose hours into the game
2:55 that violin is awesome.
The sky is just awesome
I think I can hear an inhale right before the clarinet kicks in.
I think I read somewhere that the game's music was performed by people rather than synthesized
@@orim Well, it does sound pretty authentic, so most likely yes.
@@orim Yes There's a slight buzz on one of the cello notes also. Definitely human-made.
