Well for starters people have somehow already made physics, yes, REAL physics for blocs in vanilla, you can also made snowglobes. And if your pc is able to withstand it... you play minecraft, IN MINECRAFT
When I saw the title I thought "You don't even need snapshot features to do that, note blocks exist". Having watched the video, I clearly still have a lot to learn about command blocks.
This is literally amazing, I can't imagine what else players will be able to implement into the game! In addition to the piano, I think it'll be cool to see if you could pull off more instruments for the other note block sounds (guitar, drums, bass, etc). You could literally make a Minecraft band lol
ComputerCraft is one of my fav mods ever so if CC: Tweaked is ever updated to 1.19.4, I will absolutely be creating libraries for these things so you can use them, for example, like a printer or terminal or even keyboard. EDIT: I JUST FOUND OUT YOU CAN USE /RIDE TO ATTACH AN INTERACTION TO A DISPLAY SO THAT WHEN YOU MOVE THE DISPLAY, THE INTERACTION MOVES WITH IT. just thought this was really awesome and would be good for people to know if they want to make stuff
I am so new to the game that I'm blown away that I figured out how to use a redstone lamp, but just knowing this kind of interaction is possible makes the game seem so much bigger and more intricate than I every could have guessed. Thanks for sharing!

As someone who is a mapmaker with 5 years of experience, this is easily my most favorite part of this update. They could remove camels and archeology and I'd still be ecstatic. Formerly, you could still achieve this, however, it required armorstands and ray casting and a resource pack (if on small scale like the one in the vid). This opens up many exciting opportunities such as custom entities using ride, custom hitboxes, and textures from existing blocks (which also could be done before but it was much more tedious). This is arguably the best update for mapmakers I've seen in a long time. I'm looking forward to what people make and how they test the limits of Minecraft with this new set of commands.
@@Lumberjack_king Not all of the community, and also, those mini game servers usually run using plugins. Commands and functions are purely vanilla so I'm not sure what your point is.

you can actually get the exact pitch numbers by starting at 0.5 for note 0, and then multiplying by 2^(1/12) to get the next note, all the way up until note 24, which would have the pitch 2.0. amazing video btw!
At 1:47 I think I heard what sounded like the last song you learn from the piano sidequest in Final Fantasy V, Debussy Arabesque 1 is the name of that particular one, also *Piano Flex*

And if the entities are available to mod makers, it only expands their options and makes their job that much easier. This really reminds me of an old mod called Adventurecraft that let map makers add a whole bunch of new mechanics and animations to the game. The mods most famous for it's Zelda map. I can't even imagine what these new features can even entail for the future.

Here's how you can calculate the frequencies of all musical notes: you just need to look up one frequency of a note like C4 (your base frequency to tune it), and use this formula: *base_frequency x 2 ^ ( note / 12 )* In other words, the *(base)* frequency doubles *(2^)* with each octave *(note /12)* where note is the musical notes you go up or down from your base_frequency's note

The datapack potential on this is incredible, slowly datapacks get closer and closer to being big as mods
