I have been doing my own ADHD life hacks all my life. One of them that I use all the time is to put the items you NEED for the appointment you are going to in front of the door so that you would trip over them before you can leave without them. (Like you briefcase with the files you need for the court hearing that you are going to. Learning the hard way isn't very fun.) I love this channel! Keep up the good work.

Wow, me too. Been making my own systems for the last 30 years! And boy, they keep changing.

I know right. So frustrating. The moment we think we have our act together it changes.

    "Batch hacks" 👍
When my phone is too distracting to use the timers on it, I use a digital kitchen timer that has a magnetic back and kickstand. Runs quiet, counts up or down, can stick to fridge or carry between rooms - without checking email or social media.
On bad brain days I add a post-it stuck upside down at the top like a flag, with ONE or two words, like
    Laundry
    Dryer
    Dog out
    Check oven
    Etc

I would love to see a video about some of your symptoms and what systems you use to help them. I think the video made sense but I felt like I was waiting for more specific examples to build off of.

Hi! Thank you for your comment. This week's video didn't go as planned. I was all over the place and couldn't get it together. You are right though. Come to think about it I haven't done a video on my symptoms and how I cope with them.🤦‍♂ Stay tuned. It will come in the video or two.
