My first tattoo was almost my entire back! Of course my tattoo artist was skeptical at first, going "So you're reeeeally sure you want it this big?" over and over haha

Very good advice I concur I really regret getting my second one and 4th because I wasn't thinking about placement and the future you must think about what else you may want to get when you do start getting them because you will not just get one when you do come up with plan to tattoo area

I already got my first tattoo back in 2006.
I technically already have my first tattoo but it’s a tiny stick and poke, so I don’t think that counts. I need a hidden placement that doesn’t hurt too bad, even though I believe my pain tolerance is pretty high. My biggest fear is running out of space. Using this for some advice! Love your content!
The only thing that I’m having a trouble with is the size? I’m so confused when they ask about size since I obviously can’t say small it either “golfball size or baseball size tattoo.” I want to get a quote and I don’t want it to be the tiny but later on i know I want to get tattoo on my hip/thigh and I want it to be big so idk
For the longest time I wanted to get a tattoo but never knew what it was going to be but recently I wanted to get a snake on my wrist/finger but I'm confused on getting a big one/ a tiny one.
I'm sure that I won't get a sleeve and it's going to be a one time thing
Then I'd suggest you go with a small tattoo.

Actually started getting my first tattoo which is a halfsleeve dragon, kinda neo style and it goes around the shoulder down to half of my forearm. I was't really sure about getting more than below the elbow but composition wise it made sense, so I was down for it! Done 2 Sessions 4h each so far and it probably take like 4-6 more hours having the money saved up will be even more important if you want a bigger sized tattoo I guess :D I always enjoy watching your videos and can totally agree on your points, maybe ppl should keep in mind having after care stuff ready so they dont have to go buy it with an fresh wrapped tattoo, just my opinion. keep up on good content :)
I was so scared to get my first tattoo, but it didn't even really hurt, so I thought, hey, that's easy XD. I've gotten a bunch of more painful ones in different spots since then.
My first tattoo was on my hand and forearm... Luckily I still love it haha

I didn't really think that long about the artist. A small tattoo (no special style I mean) in a decent shop (recommended by a friend) should be fine, don't you people think 🤔 ?
I'd recommend you to take an appointment, talk with him/her, look at what they've done in the past, look at their style, the hygiene of the place.. :)
@@befrnigel I already had one. The tattoo shop looks good and clean. Problem is that I can't ping my design down on a certain style. The things he has done in the past, look fine, tho 😊

my advise is don't get a tattoo. think of your body as a temple. you should not put graffiti on it.
But most temple have paintings/engravings on it. Surprised huh?
@@befrnigel i just don't like tattoo's. lol. i see so many people with them these days and most just look graffiti to me.
