So it looks good on a big screen TV? I’ve seen other say the 32in arcade consoles look better than the 43’, I guess that doesn’t apply here. Also, how long is the hdmi cable that they supply?
This was really insightful, thank you. I have been going back and forth between this and a Pandora. It seems like the quality service you get from ArcadeGuys has me convinced. I know they have trackball ability - but have you seen Golden Tee on the machine? The other thing I can't find is; Pandora's has internal speakers - does this one also? How is the sound? Thanks again for the great information!
Hey again! How hard was setup? I just got mine and I’m feeling a little overwhelmed. There was no manual and the instructions are for the cabinet. Do I need to do anything with the extra buttons red clamp cords?
For the tabletop version there was pretty much no setup at all, but if you're running into any issues I would suggest checking out the seller's UA-cam channel (they have a ton of info). If that fails I had really good luck calling in for support. 👍👍
Strange you’re unable to get both sticks working on Robotron. You never showed the the sticks inside or the board the sticks use. When I configured my own 2stick arcade machine in RetroPie it auto configured the second. If you attach a keyboard pressing ‘Tab’ - can you not configure the sticks in game via the input (this game) menu?
With so many other games that I enjoy I just never took the time to get Robotron working as I had hoped. If someone out there has successfully gotten this working I’d love to see a step-by-step video so I can do the same. :)
@@Harp4Handua-cam.com/video/pIaGW_V8TIE/v-deo.htmlsi=BvQjhli6mbZBQYa_ I found this tutorial years ago. It works great and you'll definitely find yourself wanting to play the game or once you have it set up correctly.
@@Harp4HandThere's a great tutorial here on UA-cam titled "How to configure MAME controls for robo-tron and smash TV" from a UA-cam channel called Retro Addicts that walks you through exactly how to do it. It's really easy to do and works great! Trust me you'll find yourself wanting to play the game more often once you have it set up correctly. Hi, thx for thr video.... Going from 4 way to 8 way.... Is it automatic or how do you know when to change it? How do you change it? I've got the 43" cab on order 😜
I ended up upgrading my joysticks, but in either case you should be able to find a video online that shows you how to change the joystick hardware to allow 4-way or 8-way (actually most even support just 2-way!). It's a super-easy change, but it's not automatic. 👍
@@SalColascioneIII I bought 2 Sanwa joysticks, which are higher quality than the 2 Zippy joysticks that come with the system. The feel more rugged, and should last a lot longer. As far as switching between 4- and 8-way there's no real difference. Since I play my system almost exclusively by myself I leave one joystick set each way, then quick swap the cables if needed.
Thanks for the comment and your question! I can give you my top-5 80’s arcade games (I didn’t really play much after that)… 1. Donkey Kong 2. Galaga 3. Pac-Man 4. Q-Bert 5. Tetris Defender would’ve easily made the list when I was playing these games back in the 80’s, but now I t’s just too hard for my old-man reflexes!
I was on vacation when I ordered mine in May (2021), so I asked them to hold the order for a few days. It arrived a couple days after I got home, so yeah… it shipped pretty quickly. 👍
@@marviltron9562 Mine took about 10 days, but I had asked them to hold off a few days since I wouldn't be home for the delivery. It might be worth dropping them a quick email to get the status... a month sounds like a long time.
Does this come with killer instinct series the marvel vs capcom series, third strike? Alien vs predator arcade game? Wat about neo geo dodge ball? Their site says up to 17,000 then it says 3,000 games so which is it? Does it have pre installed games and how many? Wat sucks about this company is that every time u want to see games on this thing all people show is 40 year old games. We never see Ki marvel vs capcom or third strike ect… everything is sega Nintendo snes neo geo console! Nothing arcade
I just purchased the 43" cabinet. Can't wait to play it.
love your excel sheet! thanks for this video.
What game was that with the 6 wheel vehicle? I haven't seen that game since I was a kid!
Moon Patrol... so fun!

This one does not have internal speakers, and I'm pretty sure the trac ball is not an option with the table top version. :(
Does this have the Pokémon Trading Card game for Game Boy?

Great video. I have two questions. Can you play this on a projector screen and do you need an internet connection to play this.
Yes, any HDMI output works fine, and no internet connection is needed. :)
Any idea if the light guns will work with it or can I add a trackball?
From what I recall you could not add a trac ball, and no idea about the light guns. :(

Is Marvel vs Capcom 2 or Soul Calibur included?

Are all the games controls automatically set up? I don't want to set controls up
Yes, the default controls are pretty good… and it’s nice to have the ability to tweak as wish.
