Omg amazing
Thanks for another great video. Your step-by-step breakdown is so thorough, I could go out and shoot the “Jiggie Way” today.
Hahahaha! I love it! LOL
@@JiggieAlejandrino a link to the backdrop please?
Great helpful video. Beautiful couple. And I absolutely respect how you complimented your wife. And she accepted it graceful. It was a beautiful moment. Sending much love!!
🙏
Great video.....with graet information.
Glad it was helpful!
Appreciate your process in stepping through this light balancing exercise. It's a nice approach in using the ambient rather than setting the camera to ignore the ambient and just depend on your key & sub lights. BTW, see, I knew you could turn off that distracting ceiling light. 🤣 Look how much more professional your video turned out, not to mention how much easier on my eyes. 😊 ⭐x5
Very nice and detailed video technically. Great backdrop and beautiful outfit on your wife! 👌🏽✨
Very helpful, thank you
You’re welcome
Nicely done. love it.
Thanks
Thank You!
Thank you I learned a lot from you
Glad to hear thay
I’m a fan of your videos👍
Thank you
I just love you two.Such a sweet couple
Great!
thanks for another straightforward clear tutorial. I struggle with going on site and having to deal with various different light sources (sometimes florescent, incandescent and daylight) while using off camera flash.
Just take a photo and use the settings you like. And then add the flash. And set the power to look good at those settings.
Very much helpful tutorial
Glad you think so
Yeay a new video!

Subbed.
Welcome to the channel
Thanks for your tutorials, very helpful. What size backdrop do you use ?
That one is 6.5 x 6.5 feet
Love that hat
Thanks
👍
continuous light is ambient? the backdrop really is something to have in your studio!
Yes
THANK YOU SIR SONY ALPHA 7R3 PORTRAIT SETTING PLEASE
Hai jiggie, have you been reviewing the external monitor for your camera? And if you did, would you share the link of the video.. thank you
Great video as always. I am curious when I am looking at your video. I see the LCD image look nice and warm. Then introducing the lights, I noticed you lose some of the warmth which can be seen at 11:04 time stamp, after you shot the image. This happens to me and I always have a hard time achieving this in camera? Even if I increase my kelvin to create more warmth it does not work. I am trying to achieve “what I see is what I get". I can only fix this in post? Does my question make sense, everyone thinks I am crazy? My last shoot to remedy this issue, was to add a slightly warmer gel. This did the trick! Am I doing something wrong? Sorry for the long question.
I have the exact same problem. I am thinking it's a Sony issue. Would love to hear a solution!
Hi I would really appreciate it if you could help explain how to shoot a portrait of interracial couples in a wedding situations thanks very much!!
Maybe one day
Please should you always place the modifier at where the ambient light is coming from?
Not set in stone but yeah I do 95% of the time
@@JiggieAlejandrino okay sir
Can you make 1 video, how you do portrait editing.
Maybe some day
wonderful shot , composition is spot on and everything , i just hate that Sensor , its so Scientific and clinical witch is good for some things , but for a Dreamy , soft shot , its a wrong tool . Try Canon 5D classic with the same shot , you will see a ton of difference .
It will be a better shot , tho may be scientifically worse and less precise , esthetically will be better .
I am unable to pinpoint why is that so , but i think it has lot to do with Canon colors , that are in 5D classic unique , no other canon has those colors , and Pixel Size , large pixels 8nm pixels , give fantastic color separation , 3D pop , Stereoscopic image almost .And this is why i think 5D would take a better photo esthetically in this situation
what is the name of your background call?
Sir how do we know if the image is properly exposed or not? I dunno but most of the time the histogram is a bit misleading for portraits.
I usually just base it by eye. What I see in my lcd or viewfinder
@@JiggieAlejandrino Thank you Sir!
My light was blowing out my background. It didn’t work because the light was affecting my background exposure.
If image is correct exposure but the light is affecting the background then this does not work.
In your first shot you cut the model off at the shin. Esthetic choice, or just avoiding the littered floor.
More of explaining the concepts first then composition came after everything was set
That over exposed shot has potential
When ambient light is good enough, it's not good enough...
😁
nice work but background looks a bit like greasy kids stuff.
Two much talking
