    I have the same blind and boat and the same complaints. I think I'm going to install snaps for the top to get rid of the Velcro because it does fall quite often. I don't have a dog sometimes I go out so I thought about doing snaps vertically on the back near the motor to make an easier way in and out as well. Great blind besides those few complaints, but I still highly recommend it.

    At 5:40 you say you’d like the blind to stretch to the front more. On my Beavertail blind I can tighten the stretch cord on either side and tie it off tighter.

    I have the same boat and was looking at a beavertail 1600 glad I found this video. Didn't know you can take the three hatches and open it all up. I do have a question or two, if we have it setup of being fully open can you use the bow and back elevated section for a hunter? Also I am concerned about the metal cross bar just in front of the outboard I can see it is covering the door over the fuel tank? Also how is it with the tiller handle will it be all the way down or do you need to run it up?

    • @BadAtHunting
      @BadAtHunting  Рік тому

      yes, the front and back decks can be used with a hunter, and the metal brace bar does cover the access door to the gas tank.
      the titler handle on mine worked fine, just as it normally would.

    To hide the motor and bow of the boat, it looks like you could just add a lot more grass to it and it would cover it up more/better. Not a perfect solution, but an economical way to fix the issue.

    lack of a dog door is a big negative....I have the 1700 on my 1654 Grizzly Tracker....the blind is a shade too big and the motor gets in the way of the scissor frame. can't tilt the motor up.
    I've been turning thoughts through my head on how to get a dog door in there without taking to a canvas shop....they are not going to like all the grass all over the blind to do their work. I may just cut a semi-circle and call it a day.

    • @BadAtHunting
      @BadAtHunting  2 роки тому

      Yeah, I totally understand. I’ve tried to figure out what I’m going to do about a dog door too. I can’t believe they don’t have one sewn in from the factory. If you come up with a good option, let me know - I’d be curious to hear how you solved the problem.

    IM looking at getting one of these blinds for my tracker grizzly 1754 sc. How do you yourself get in and out of the blind? lift the bar and crawl under?

    • @BadAtHunting
      @BadAtHunting  6 місяців тому

      Yeah the entire blind folds onto one side, so you just flip it up, and get out from it.
      The trouble I did have was for my dog. On every retrieve we’d have to flip the blind over to let him out/back in. Beavertail does sell a ‘dog door’- but we never had one put in.
