thank you for your contribution to being a universal bro. there’s literally no videos about this and i got one fro christmas so in my excitement i found your video. Thank you!!!
Thank you! We appreciate the support! More videos will be coming as soon as we get some stuff on the boat looked at lol don’t forget to follow on facebook and Instagram!
Great vid! One question, will the blind and motor "collide" if you leave the motor up. I occasionally hunt very shallow areas that the motor has to stay up.
Thanks for the vid. I have the 1654 Grizzly so I bought the 1700 beavertail...have not put it on yet...was concerned with that bracket interfering with the tiler handle. Hope it doesn't. In my boat, the front hatch and seat base are switched compared to yours, so I'm going to guess, I cannot use the front seat position....will have to use boat cushion or sit on a cooler. I bought JSterns grass for camo brushing...good pricing. btw...the flip top is around $349 now...not really worth the cost IMO. Thanks again.
@@fwlmoodadventures4658 It fit, but the tiller handle was in the way of the bracket making it impossible to tilt the motor up....I solved that by installing a 4" micro Jack plate. pushed the motor back 4" which gives me clearance. The lack of dog door is an issue. I had already grassed it, so bringing it to a canvas shop to put in a dog door is not an option now. Poor dog cannot see a thing. All in all it's functional....
It shoots 3 hunters easy! They have them up to a 22ft boat I believe! The are built to fit on a beaver tail boat but work well with the grizzly tracker! If you want to check out beaver tail.com they have all the sizes listed I believe.
So after 2 seasons, what are your thoughts? Someone raised a concern as I'm shopping for mine. The potential for the grass to get wet with water and snow and then put all that weight on one side of the boat is real. What are your experiences?
Just a thought, I'd unbolt/remove the trolling motor during duck season. As much brush and limbs and crap as we go through, we'd have that thing yanked off by some mean ass branch look'n for revenge. It will give you more deck space, better for a dog, boat bags, etc. I'm assuming you aren't using it during duck season and it looks like it would allow you extend the blind out even further.
@@fwlmoodadventures4658 Just curious, did you get the arched bevi top you mentioned at the 4:35 mark? I'd love to see a vid on it if you got it. Trying understand how it's attached, how it stores, how it rides when traveling, how much more bulk, etc etc Also, did you put any grass or something else to give it some depth? You mentioned you are tall, how tall? after all these questions, I'm realizing I need to see one in person.
I leave it on for one reason....it's the only way to get home if the big motor goes down. Boats nowadays have no oars...many a day as a youth I ended up rowing back home or somewhere close. The trolling motor could be a lifesaver. Leave it on and brush it up.

What size blind did you go with for the 1654?
I’m not sure what he bought but I believe the 1700 will fit that size boat
Great vid, and all the info I needed in the comments. Thanks everyone ☺️
Glad to see you are getting it ready.

How does the blind fit? Did it work out for you?

@@KevinsNorthernExposure I agree, beavertail should look into a better option for the dog
Can it fit 2-3 guys comfortably? What all sizes does it come in can it fit almost all boats? Looks super nice got me wanting one!

Great video. You looking for a hunting partner on JBLM? Mine just PCS'ed this season.
We can probably work something out! Message me on our Facebook.

I haven’t had any issues with that but I dry mine out. Also my boat is filled with foam so that might be what helps me out.

That’s a good idea. We ended up using it last season a bit. But it definitely was a bit bulky up front.

@@Laughinghawg I haven’t bought it yet. I will definitely do a video when I do! I’m 6’4” ish. I fit pretty good.
@@fwlmoodadventures4658 Yeah, I'm 5'10"ish or was before I got old. That means I'd be do'n the prairie dog pop up to see over the edge :-)

Are there spots for dog entry on the sides?
There are attachments you can buy. The problem is you have to cut a hole and then stitch the attachments over the hole like a dog door
Do you think this would fit a side console?
I’m not sure because of the bar inside the blind.
Do think it would clear a tracker grizzly center console?
