We've written an accompanying blog post about this with lots of info and links on some of the attractions and things to see in the area. Its at rvlifestyle.com/paradise-landing-rv-ownership/
Within the next year we will be in the market for property. So keep these coming! Kentucky Lake is on the list because it is part of The Great Loop. Many Loopers live in and around this Lake.
Coming for the June sale! Hoping we’re one lucky ones that get to purchase a nice lot for our future retirement. Your video helped confirm the decision to drive 11-hrs to look, so thanks for sharing!
I've been trying to find something like this in Idaho, Boise area. I was sorta able to find something in Bear Lake Idaho, but it's a 5 hour drive from Boise.
Wow, who raised you Karen? What's in place to keep insane people to stay out of anyone else's business. HOAs are a blight on freedom and people like you should stay on their own property and just build a high fence.
Good luck. I found only one but best of luck having the realtor get back to you and *IF* they do they will tell you "we have no land for sale in Florida" Clickbait to get you to buy land somewhere else
It's very interesting but does it flood there? I've seen a few comments from people who say this is in a flood zone? These people you interviewed say they live there full time but have they been there through 4 seasons? I'd like to leave my RV there as my home base but not if I have to worry about flooding while I'm gone.
Living on the water ALWAYS means FLOODS no matter where you are! This property looks particularly prone due its low elevation and the vast amount of water that moves through this waterway. I am sure this river is part of the TVA which was created to mitigate flooding to begin with. I hate to RAIN on your parade but these are just the facts of being so close to major rivers. I have personally seen the KY river which is a much smaller river, rise 30 plus feet in a matter of hours after heavy fall rains, taking everything in its path with it. I certainly wish you well but please have flood insurance and be prepared to evacuate if necessary.
I don’t see that this be camping it’s just changing addresses instead of living in a house you’re living in a camper it’s like having two houses in two different states not much else just saying

Our Elkhound used to lick our minnows out of the minnow bucket and lay them on the ground
“One-day-only-sale”? Sounds like a high-pressure sale in a flood-zone area. Yikes 😱!
I believe they get a commission on lots sold by doing this video. I flooded where I live, so I do not want another property that floods!

$59k may be worth it if water, power, septic, and the open garage to park RV under is all included in price.
How's the weather there? Bad tornadoes? Floods?
I'd love to see a map to see where this is relative to the main body of water. This looks more like a river/tributary.
Looks like flood plane land to me....
It is. That's why you can't build a house there. Only RVs.
Seems like a big thing to leave out of the video
Agreed. It's very misleading. Also there is no HOA because you can't build a house but there is a POA which is the same thing for property.
Doing a very cursory google search shows that the area is flood prone. You guys need to be careful with this. Credibility is a hard thing to fix.
Let the great waters flow be careful be prepared to roll out in five minutes
When you say 59,900 is that well, sewer, e
Lect.
Where exactly is this located
Can you put a "tiny home" on the lots? Which is stationary.
Nope. Can't build anything permanent. It's a flood zone.
If I buy there can I live there permanently in my RV
It’s pretty now because it’s uninhabited. How pretty will it be with trailers every hundred feet?
somebody's gonna dump a $5k, 40 year-old mobile home there and abandon it first flood!
No HOA. What is in place to keep folks from trashing their site? Derelict vehicles, old appliances...
POA.

Have you come across any great RV lots/land for sale in Florida?
Good luck. I found only one but best of luck having the realtor get back to you and *IF* they do they will tell you "we have no land for sale in Florida" Clickbait to get you to buy land somewhere else

You know it floods. Thats why its so cheap.
They vacation in the winter because that's when it floods.
Would have been a good thing to have mentioned in the interview.

Are here any sites for rent? If so how would I check into?
This plays as a paid promotion. The info, and information is questionable. This is nothing more than a sales pitch. Buyer beware.
