Very Cool! I've always wondered weather or not the O Line was still being used. You may want to head over to the Worhemiler Rd railroad crossing about a mile to the north sometime as I know there was an old defect detector at that location. The milepost location was 58.5 and I believe it had an STC Sentry System as the talker. I'm not sure if it's still there or not but It might be worth a look.
That must be the old NS nee CofG O line. If so, I was told by a G&W official that they gave up this line in favor of the ex NS nee CofG line from Phenix City to Cottonton, AL. The last train that operated this line was a power move to bring up G&W units to Columbus, Ga prior to start up of the Columbus & Chattahoochee RR. Its a shame how this line went to waste.
Interesting and very informative. It's a shame to let this go to waste. Wouldn't it be great if this could be used as a tourist excursion line. But I'm not holding much hope. Maybe someday
how the fuck are these siganls not apart I mean sure it has vines on some parts but it’s in good condition with the setup I mean how the fuck is it like that?

what year was the Line abandoned?
Think it went dead by the late-90s, IIRC?
Great camera work.
Thanks!
So many crossings are just decked out in safetran parts, Also nice video.
Thanks! Yea.
saw a freight train today
I remember this.
Did they remove these abandoned railroad crossing and abandoned railroad track?
Don't believe so.
Great footage do you think this line will ever see trains again or will it become a bike trail
Thanks! No idea, TBH.
@@freebrickproductions you're welcome and keep me posted and updated
Can you spell where this is at please

And one more thing is this signal coming back to life or is completely out of service
Completely out of service as far as I'm aware.
Are they keeping the singles up in case if they reactivate this line?
No idea, tbqh.
What year did this signal stop working 🤔🤔
I would maybe like to see a scenic Railroad use this line again
these videos are informative
Love your videos, also checked out your music playlist and you listen to some good stuff: Steely Dan, Boz Scaggs, BTO. Awesome
Thanks!
I watch you and RailRol82 do these videos and think, "Watch your azz walking in that brush! GA like Fla is snake infested",
Everything looks like rusted from the early 2000s
This is a 70s install, but I wouldn't be surprised to find out it's been dead since sometime in the 2000s or early 2010s.
What year did this signal is out of service
As I stated in another comment, it was dead by the late-90s.
Excellent video. A very cool place.
Thanks!
