I've just bought a 58 plate audi s5 4.2 v8 coupe In that lovely audi blue.
I know it's old but it's the best car I've ever owned and that v8 WOW
Its only 352 bhp but with the quattro it feels faster
My last car was an e92 335D it drove better but the s5 coupe is definitely a more beautiful car
James Kenny Recently got an S5 V8 myself and it’s a beauty, had wanted one for ages. Just needs an exhaust to open up that sound a bit more.
The 5 definitely had one of the best body lines/shape from Audi , the only other that compares for me is the A7 in terms of looks
I just got one last month too. It is an awesome car, has a bigger presence than the 335i imo. Definitely want an exhaust to open it up. Will go resonated milltek.

How can you love the audi a2. It's so bizarre
The b8 4.2l Engine can have 480+ hp if you clean with chemicals or nutschells the intake manifold... with fresh oil and aditives plus the right exhaust pipe and intake air filter kit you have without problems 500 hp. Just keep your Engine clean 😉 and drive it right 🤙🏻

Imagine lt recently bought a pre facelight s5 for £9k. Looks like this car just the headlights taillights obviously not the same. Awesome car with its 4.2 v8, different 4.2 tho.

Loved the hybrid video! I just got one of these with low miles in Daytona Grey. It's a beast for sure. So far I have just deleted the cat's bc the car came with the sport exhaust. I think that made all the difference. I can't say it sounds like the Milltek but it's about 2/3rds of the sound you produced. Keep up the great work.

Owner is pulling your plonker though, as it's a 2012 B8 RS5 pre-facelift. He can add all the facelift body parts he wants but real enthusiasts will still call him out, as it still has old cluster and paddles.

I clicked on this whilst playing Forza motorsport 7.
The b8 RS4/5 lacks torque other than that everything sounds great, that engine was the best nat-asp V8.
It’s a high revving V8 with a very strong torque curve, most especially above 6k where the S5 V8 declines.
I had a FBO stage 2 A3 which was all torque. Now I have an almost identical B8.5 RS5 and let me tell you if you have it above 5 and hammer it you will run out of road lmao. My A3 would win from a dig but this car is made to go 176+.

I think choosing to do the review right by a motorway flyover wasn't the best idea. This sounded mean when idling and revving, but the drive bys sounded pretty lame (compared to) the Capristo exhaust. The videos on that sounds a lot better.

Guys, I really wanna get an rs5, should I do it, it's slower than the new s3 even with a quick ecu tune but the sound is just unmatched. On the other hand ... Understears really don't know
The RS5 is not known to oversteer, maybe _understeer_ somewhat. It has that heavy V8 all the way up front. You have to choose what qualities and features are a priority for you when undecided between two very different cars. Do you value all-out performance more or are you looking for a vehicle that satisfies on many different levels?

I did that, and within 4 minutes I returned it to the shop to get a new back box fitted...
Probably twice as loud as a full Straight through system on an Impreza STI.

You fan boys love Audi's it's dead no feed back from the wheel completely detatched from the road, the computers constantly correcting every turn of the wheel, every touch of the accelorator it's a heap of shit if you want a computer to drive you buy an Audi or a Tesla same thing this is why people nowadays can't drive.
