Fibonacci did not discovery this sequence. He learnt about it in his travels in Middle East and Africa and introduced this sequence in Europe.

@@popovvichian966 Did you watch the video? It clearly shows ALL (hundreds of) artefacts. You can go to Varna, Bulgaria and see them yourself. Nobody in the world can show Any Other artefact which is older than the Varna discovery! Furthermore, my ancestors went to spread this knowledge to Sumer, India, Egypt and others.

Before Fibonacci at least 90 years ago in India mathematician known as Hemchandra Numbers invented on the research carried out on Sun Flower seeds, which has spirals they tend to go 1+2=3, and so on. When dry Sunflower seeds break they spring away in spiral form, in which greater chances of their survival and
re-generation possibility as yield.
This is an invitation to see a theory on the nature of time! In this theory we have an emergent uncertain future continuously coming into existence relative to the spontaneous absorption and emission of photon energy. In this process we even have an objective reason for the start of the Fibonacci numbers 0, 1, 1,... with the t = 0 and the positive +1 and negative -1 representing the positive and negative of electromagnetic waves with everything being based on one geometrical process. In this theory the future is not random it is based on a process of spherical symmetry forming and breaking. Spherical symmetry forms the low entropy that we see if we look back in time at the ‘big bang’ and also forms the potential for ever greater symmetry formation that we have in cell life with the Fibonacci spiral being visible almost everywhere in nature! This is because if the quantum wave particle function Ψ or probability function is reformulated as a linear vector then all the information I have found says that each new vector is formed by adding the two previous vectors together this forms the Fibonacci Sequence 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, ∞ infinity!

I got goosebumps Followed by a strong headache.
Is it that the Fibonacci sequence "regulates our biology and social mood" or is it that the numbers just model it well. Given how vaguely we can make these mathematical structures overlap structures in nature, how can we infer causation?
Interesting thought, to me there seems to be too much order to NOT have some intelligent design or power behind it. Granted, the pattern may just be a coincidence, but with study, we may find some kind of secret to moods or mental abilities.

Are golden ratio spiral and fibonacci spiral are the same?
Great question! I understand them to be very closely related however, not exactly the same. The Golden Ratio (aka Phi or Φ) is a specific number while the Fibonacci sequence could be considered a pattern prediction. They are both a spiral and are similarly related in their design. Although, that's not the whole picture and may not be exactly correct...a little more review might be needed as it's more complicated than that brief description.

Great question Ashley! The Fibonacci falls into line with other formulas that help describe Fractals (which is what I would consider coral to be more like).
I wonder if the view of coral is from the top (or bottom) there would be the spiral shape, perhaps even in a cross section of each arm of coral?
