Trauma shows up in the body as chronic fatigue, chronic pain or an autoimmune response. A sign that the nervous system is in dysregulation. SomaSensing unlocks the self-regulating process of fascial unwinding to heal the trauma response.
@asaxearts I think it helps through strengthening or regulating interoception. It helps restore the body's sense of itself and confidence in itself....in my experience those senses can be diminished or destroyed with trauma. x
Hi Amy, the body is always responding to how we feel. Any emotion that putsl us under stress/anxiety shifts our body chemistry. When the chemistry changes, the tissue (our fascia) changes. Becoming stiff and inflamed. Calm the nervous system to calm the stress response. Shifting emotion through motion
there is such a freedom in listening to my body and letting it guide me on where to go. there is no right or wrong answer and i feel more connected!
