I've owned my coupe Volvo C70 since 2001 and after 160k miles and going better than ever, albeit with boat-like handling. Hands down Motorweek is best car etc. review show out there. No silly corney joking or unnecessary stupid comments. Keep up great work. ☘️
I have owned a couple the handling is definitely not boat like and skid pad numbers were on par with BMW 3 series of similar vintage - what I remember is how rough the ride was with standard alloy wheels and low profile tires.
Have one that is the last year for the rag top, a 2004 with low pressure turbo. Nautic blue metallic over beige leather with only 47,000 miles at 17 years years of age. Love it !
Thanks for posting. I have a 2002 hardtop coupe HT, Auto Nautica Blue, 2.3. Still clean 156k miles. Just simply love it. Just learn to do the maintenance yourself. Plenty of vids here on youtube.
+m3trooper They actually bought it because of me. They wanted the safest car for me to ride in when I was little. It also saved my grandmother's life, because it was involved in a big wreck.
I remember Volvo showroom I walked in and this convertible was unbelievable I had to have one in my life anyway I end up getting two of them 15 years later and doing it up I love the shape I love it I have a black and cream leather convertible and the silver with grey leather I think there were between 90 to $120,000 brand new I think correct me if I'm wrong
Bit of a feedback. After that comment I owned the C70 HPT for about 18 months, pretty good car til it comes to repairs. It's a nightmare with how much the parts cost. So I went back to 945T :P
my mum had one a few years ago it didn't really have any problems only problem was the front wheels would make a cranking sound when turned on full lock witch I think she had fixed
Our 2.4 T, the soft turbo charged version with 193 hp, ran 560‘000 km with the engine running as smooth as on day one. Best engines Volvo ever build. The seats are also on Mercedes‘ levels and the stereo was the best of any car that time and age. Only thing is soft suspension and some rattling plastic parts. Apart from that, a truly wonderful car.

Great look for '97 !!!
My grandparents have the sedan version of this car: The S70 T5.
Your grandparents are lucky! Those old C70 and S70's are among the best Volvos ever built!

I have the '04 C70 convertible,blue ragtop &silver body paint, quality car!
Currently searching for one in saffron gold in the UK just now to add to my Volvo collection.
Bought my silver C70 2.0T yesterday. After five years, I finally have my hands on one 🙂

'Coup'? Oh, 'murica.
This started the downfall of Volvos design.
