Another great episode, Fark and enjoyed Turbo as well. Hope he comes back. As much as I enjoy dungeon-finder, I think I want a better group finder in general. A tool similar to retail’s M+ group finder. So many times on Warmane, I find myself wanting to run Onyxia and I just can’t find people to do the content and spamming globals is a pain in the ass. People leave your group if it’s not mostly full. I was fairly imperial toward RDF as a long-time Warmane player but here recently went I started working on my alt rogue, I realized how reliant I was on RDF. I was able to get into ICC gear in a month with all of Warmane’s catch-up sources of gear and emblems but if I had to play alts on x1 classic without dungeon finder and slower gear progression with phases, I don’t think I would find playing alts near as enjoyable. I have a BiS Hunter and (close to BiS) DK and with limited playtime, I find myself just logging in for an hour in the evening to spam dungeons with guildies. We all know how much a cluster fuck the Warmane global chats are… imagine having to filter through the spam just to find a group to run a 15 minute dungeon. Looking forward to more episodes, if you’re willing to take suggestions, I’d love to hear a segment about Warmane and you and Funky’s experiences from old Molten to current day Warmane and talk about the problems with the Warmane staff and forum mods.
btw, I do think protector warrior has always been highly undervalued by the community in both TBC and Wrath. I think warrior suffers from this thing where the community says it’s bad, or worse than other specs, so just not a lot of people play it. When you do see one, the player is often doing a sub-optimal rotation. Warrior is very different than DK and it’s really hard to screw up playing a DK tank. You spam IT for aggro, death strike to heal and pop your 5-5 spell/trinket cooldowns before a damage phase. DK has no set rotation, not one that’s important at least. You just hold aggro, heal yourself and give someone hysteria. Warrior on the other hand has a fairly complex rotation to keep up and rage to manage, if you aren’t using your abilities at the right time, obviously you’re going to be a lot worse than a Paladin or DK that has very little to actually do during a boss fight.
Warrior is bad becasue it requires way more brainpower to pull it off compared to hordes of dumbfuck prot paladins standing in voidzones and getting their asses saved by ardent defender. Only reason why prot pala is overhyped S+ tier is becasue literal shitters get away with mistakes.
My favorite part about this whole dungeon finder thing is blizzard actually pretending they give a shit about what their community wants LMAO. Their classic community would rather waste their time in trade chat than queue for a heroic? Who exactly are they asking? Did you see them sending out surveys? Nobody asked me??? The majority of players I spoke to had a lot to say about fixes that couldve been implemented on classic tbc to make it a better game. They could've removed heartbeat from pvp. They could have gave us dual spec so more players could pvp AND pve without swiping for gold. They could've increased honor rates so people could obtain pvp gear and enjoy playing the game. They could have given us an arena season 1 classic 3v3 tournament without leech in the game LMAO. We're in season 4 and you can still use rocket boots in arena??? Nah you right blizzard we definitely want to auto run to dungeons every day HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
As much as DK struggles with AoE threat, I think they’re the best for odd situations like picking up the Onyxia adds. One rotation of diseases+pestilence will spread to the huge pack of adds and you can blood boil them a few times quickly once they stack on you.
@@FarkGaming Yep, sure is. Somehow pugs on Warmane always seem to struggle with keeping ranged damage on Onyxia during phase 2. I prefer to have a paladin take the adds, I can usually handle them if heals are good but my framerate always tanks when the whelps flood in 😁
They said they're gonna restore the quest for the 2extra daily emblems. Also is it in Wrath when a warlock can summon inside the instance the ppl who are outside? Cause atm you can only summon folks inside the instance, not those outside.
You get 2 extra emblems PER heroic dungeon that you queue from RDF. Regarding summoning - you can summon a player that is in Dalaran/Orgrimmar directly to the raid by using the summoning closet (warlock summoning stone).
great podcst as always :) On another note, I dont want to be the annoying guy but be mindful that we are hearing you breathing and smoking the entire podcast like really loudly with earphoones

Onyxia adds are that one odd psychotic example where you have 100+ targets. Fun little enouncter nontheless.
