- How I Power my Van. Surprise snow storm in summer. I am Cozy in my van! Driving to the Arctic "Alaska of the Nordics". How I Power my Van, Cooking, Showering, Laundry, Emptying Toilet, Filling Water & Heavy Rain. I decided to move into my cozy luxury van, travel full time and see what vanlife alone is actually like. I had spent the previous winter in the van riding out snow storms, blizzards and freezing temperatures, but now it was time for full time van life in the arctic north. I started out stealth camping in a parking lot in May and after one night I headed into the amazing fjords. Come along for my Second week of living full time in the van, cooking, showering, doing laundry and everything else you need to do to live in the van. This was filmed before my arctic winter tour that you have been seeing these past 6 months #vanlife #vanliving #snowstorm
My van is a Fiat Ducato, FWD with Nokian Winter Tires. This is the same as a Ram Promaster in the USA and Canada but with a diesel engine and manual transmission.

Wow! What an amazing place. I was worried about that first day. I think in our excitement to be on a new adventure, we have the tendency to push a bit too hard, but don’t feel it because of that added adrenaline. But once you’re behind in that kind of heat, it’s hard to catch up. In glad you slowed down and focused on your hydration and rest. I think it’s a good idea for the park to ensure people have a companion in case of emergency. I hope you’re better and I think this is one of your best! Thank you.

I should add, I laughed out loud @ the boiling of the towels, as I always thought that I was the "odd man out" that often does this, but I was wrong! haha
I do it between weekly laundry washes, to properly sanitise my face washer.
As the boiling water is so very hot, it really helps to properly clean/sanitise.
I have a wee tip to share. If you add a tablespoon or two of white vinegar to the boiling water, it will really help to get rid of any "unwanted" smells.

I would really enjoy some of these adventures when I see Sweden this year! I was told to go to a cafe when I visit & have the traditional Swedish breakfast & coffee. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to visit my home country Poland, but I plan to soon. The video of the country is stunning. Amazing what God had made.

Love your travels I was thinking about doing the same sell the house buy a van likes yours New ones are $200,000 Australian the only thing is summer here is brutal up too 40c here have to have a good solar air conditioning setup like yours too keep up to the heat
I do not have any air conditioning so summer can be uncomfortable, you have to get the air to circulate

I've never commented but always watch with interest and fascination. I wanted to suggest that you could take photos and sell them as a digital printable download. You visit some beautiful spots and this could be another source of income for you. Thanks for posting and giving us glimpses of countries we may get to see otherwise.

Watched this video twice I see we share some similarities weather being a factor, when you referred to 27/28 degrees that's walk in park here, summer temps can vary from mid thirtys to 50+, central Australian which I have experienced loved this video as I said Bravo Zulu = Well Done cheers😀👍👍😋

BIG QUESTION - Norway has recently announced a world class Mother Load of the hRare Earths that are required for most anything having to do with magnets & or AI. Will you be traveling where this place. I suspect there are many Norwegians who want no part of the rear earth project while some will embrace the find with both arms.

It remains yet to be seen if it is foreign companies that will trick their way into ownership, rural Norway is kind of stupid in this regard, if a foreign company promise 50 work places and a swimming hall to the local community they can usually get away with anything. We will have to wait and see, but I have very little faith in it becoming a fair deal to anyone here in Norway.
