I got nothing but good vibes from this young man. It is refreshing to see a youth with focus and drive. I wish him nothing but success in all his future endeavours!
This kid is amazing! How does a 16 yr old do a retaining wall. He has ambition and seems to be a responsible, reliable, and respectful young man. I love that you're going around showcasing these young talents! It's great to see these youths going for it and succeeding!
It was really cool seeing him do it on Instagram Stories, and including sharing when they messed up and had to tear it all apart. It was a crazy adventure, one that they owned up and tackled and made it right. Pretty dope!
Diligence, and like he said, working with a landscaping company. That said, as someone who grew up working for a dad who owned his own landscaping company after being a head foreman at a very respected high-end builder, as an adult I wouldn't do them even with how much work I did on them simply because the liability is extremely high. If someone were to set up a lounge space near it and it fell on someone or their kid, as the installer you're the one responsible. Retaining walls are something you really only want to do yourself when you have a LOT of experience learning from someone extremely skilled at them was always my father's perspective as it's very easy to have a small error not show for a few years and either something disastrous happens or little things happen, such as on the right side of this one where grass/weeds are growing through the retaining wall which shouldn't really happen for a good 10-20 years. Not to take away from the effort - but retaining walls are something many actual landscaping companies tend to not do very well. You can see even from the video some of the imperfections in the grade and level which will display as time goes on. But I have a fairly biased POV on this as I've seen countless trained professionals not do it properly. The way I'd go about this if I were starting as a kid would be to focus on the mowing part, build up a partner who can handle operating stuff for a summer, and making connections with one of the more reputable landscaping companies around and see if they'd be willing to take me for a summer to learn some specific areas. That's what my father did while being a foreman at that company to learn irrigation since that's another in-depth skillset when you're designing systems. He took a summer off from the company to work with and irrigation company letting them know when he returned he'd have a whole extra skillset to provide
Young man got his business together. There are grown men out here who have been in business for years who don't have the mindset that you do, Henrik! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Kids like this are so motivating to me. I had to restart my business and have been going through a lot. I’ve gotten 35 clients this past year. I need to get out there and push harder! And video like this show me the importance of consistency
OUTSTANDING, YOUNG MAN!!! So awesome to see a young man with his head on straight and his mind set on a worthwhile journey!!! Keep it up young man...keep it up!!!
Way to go Henrik, you’re crushing it. Keep up the great work,& growing your business. You make a great role model for the upcoming Lawn Care community. Thanks for sharing your set-up with us.💯❤️👍🏾😀🙋🏽♀️✝️🙏🏾🇺🇸

Great video Brian! I’m going to try to start a lawn care business next year. I think it’s amazing that he can run a business like that when he’s 16! He is still in school and I’m only in middle school and get a lot of homework I can imagine how much he gets in highschool. And he is running a more successful lawn care business than some guys who are adults. You have done an outstanding job Henrik and you work harder than a lot of people. Keep doing what you do man!
Good job..great video..all high school kids need to watch this inspirational video..a college degree doesn’t always mean success ..guys like this built America..
Great equipment & contract walk through Gabe I appreciate it & keep up the hard work it pays off look at how well Brian & Shawn from Spencer lawncare are doing & the dirtmonkey keep it going Gabe great job.
Wow he’s bad a$$ . 16 and doing what he’s doing . I wish to god I could’ve been like him at 16 . . I’m turning 46 Aug 1st and just got my LLC . He need to keep killing it .
Henrik Man ...Sir when I was 16 ...never mind GOD'S GIFT!!!! Good Better Best Never Let It Rest Until Your Good Is Your Better And Your Better Is Your Best!! Keep Up The Good Work!!! I'm on a new level mindset thanks to you Sir. 🙏
As long as you do the general maintenance to the red Max Weedwhacker and you keep up with them I’ve had mine for six years now still no problem same thing with all the landscapers in town
Very cool series !!! Great to see young guys out making money and building a business reminds me of when I pulled a mower behind my bike around my neighborhood making money before I was old enough to get a job 😊
Nice to see him growing his business...seems to have it together. He must be operating in a business friendly state unlike Massachusetts. Finished up my 25th year in Massachusetts and they certainly don't make it easy with the insurance requirements and over regulation . Don't be surprised to see them requiring landscapers to be licensed soon and a hydraulic license to operate a mower . Anyway great to see this young man doing such a good job 👏.
That's great on what u guys do. I will end up buying that ECHO 225 weedwacker thanks to u and your video. That black and decker trim/edger combo breaks my back. Good job on that 16 year old. Make that money.
Mr. Henrick I tip my hat to you Sir!! Keep Up The Great Work Champ!! Hey ...by the way I'm a $25 guy 😆 🤣 Im motivated and learned a few things and I'm 38 soooo yea Salute!! Thanks For Sharing!!
You need to put your mowers over the axles of your trailer not on the tongue that tears up your truck and cost more gas do you want heavy weight on top of the axles no other place It will pull down the road a lot better
Bro no actual way I’m looking at starting a lawn business at 16 and I look up teen lawn care business and this kid lives in dexter and I’m in Chelsea. Literally hits close to home.
The passion every single person has for this job is intoxicating. Why not do a job where you get to buy fun equipment while also making your job more efficient.
Brian, I have a very small lawn care business and my garage is a storage facility. The tours you do of the multi million $ operations are great but what would really help is how to organize a storage unit. For example someone with just a toolshed in their back yard can still hang stuff like trimmers on the wall but how do we, operating out of a storage unit organize the wall. I Knox you do or did operate out of a storage unit so I thought you would be the best for this. Thank you
Hey great job man, good to see young entrepreneurs making it. Quick question on the side of your lawns your referring to. Are you mowing a full acre or is that the property size including the house? We are in southern New Hampshire and we run about $130 for an acre of mowable turf.
Hey Brian this is Phillip I was wondering if I can talk to you on a podcast or meet up and do a equipment tour it would mean the world to me . I am 16 years old and run a lawncare and landscaping business. We do everything to mowing to building patios .
It is refreshing to hear a young person talking about something of substance. It’s usually painful to even watch the younger generations let alone listen to them. Keep up the good work young man!

This young man is major motivation for a 30 year old like myself. Respect ✊🏿
You should ask these kids if they have teachers telling them if you don't go to college you won't be successful lol.
That would be funny.
I go to his Rival Highschool (5 miles away) and YES WE DO LOL
