We have done two kitchens so far. Easy for people to forget the spacers in their designs. Surprised you didn't redo the kitchen floor before putting the cabinets in. Love the videos...great work!
We probably should have replaced the kitchen floor. In the beginning of a remodel sometimes something will look "OK" when its surrounded by crap so you keep it. Then later, when everything else is new, it looks pretty bad. I try to account for this when deciding to keep or replace stuff. Thanks!

A million dollars 💸 a month should cover the rent lol, very nice.
I wish! We hope to get between $2,000 and $2,400 per month. Prior to remodel it was renting for $1,600/month but that was below market since they had been good renters for a very long time.

The cabinets were very affordable from the new Home Outlet store here in Gainesville. I think they were around $4,000ish (BIG Mothers Day Sale). Pretty good quality for the price. One thing to look for is the amount of wasted space around the drawers. These are not great in that respect. Check the 1st link in the description to see some really high end custom cabinets ($24k). They are great, but not 6X better...
Yeah lowes price are stupid high for junk.. I thought about making my own because I want one cabinet with 36" drawers for Pan's and other bigger stuff.. So our pantry can be full of food and our hidden pantry for other stuff.....
