Flying Scotsman through Dawlish, Devon - Part 2
Вставка

- The return journey of the Flying Scotsman 60103 wasn't quite as fast as we would have liked as it was stuck behind a local train. With two done pilots, we followed it along the Dawlish sea wall and up the River Exe Estuary.
Thanks to Colin Campbell and Nigel, our UA-cam Moderator, for the extra footage.

Thank you Neil and Nigel beautiful remember the black faces all round 😂good times 😂😊xx
Was great to see Flying Scotsman running in Dawlish and to be so close up to it on both passes, very impressive indeed
I went on a few family holidays to Dawlish Warren in the early to mid 60s, and every time we were pulled by a steam engine. Back then it was the only way. Never by the 4472 unfortunately.
Great piece of photography. Thanks for sharing
Great stuff
So great to see a steam train not hauling a diesel along.
Did this travel through this weekend.
Reminds me of the Scarborough North Bay (miniature) Railway. They’ve been running an A3 replica there since real A3’s were in service.
Can see from all the excess steam that she was not designed to run through successive yellow signals being a main line express loco.
Nice video 😊
When it goes from London to great Yarmouth in June I want to find what line it takes. Need to see it in person.
Seemed to be going slow through Dàwlish but great film and seeing great loco at work
Fantastic footage, thanks! Seems to be going quite slow, though? Any idea why?
Thanks Neil super video
