Holy crap, the movie at night with the skyline in the background is dope. Never thought I'd wanna make a trip to Raleigh but here we are. After Covid of course Lol
This video is so dope. I love Raleigh. Back in college, we partied hard on Glenwood Ave. Boxcar is a gem. I'm so happy they are coming to Durham. Can't wait to see the next vid.
Sarah, you did such an awesome job! I'm going to be sending this to people who are thinking about moving here. Keep making these videos, you are really good at it.
Yoooooooooo, I didn't know you were in Raleigh. I grew up there but left about 12 yrs ago just as it was blowing up. I worked at the museum, learned to swim at Pullen park, used to act like I was the operator of that caboose too, I ate a lot of food at the Farmers market, used to meditate in the grass at Dix (I lived across the street on Boylan) and been in a Kayak a bunch of time on Lake Johnson (my friend worked there in HS). Damn this brings me back and makes me miss that town. Thanks for posting it. I doubt I'll ever move back, cause I love Philly too much, but I sure as hell miss it and all my people down there.
Yoooo! This vido is hype! I'm from Philly and just moved to NC outside of Raleigh...and your video has definitely inspired me and my fam to take a ride.... Also... the instrumentals you used were everything....had me rapping thru the whole video! lol! Hit me up if you need a verse next time! ONE! ☮
Recently moved to Goldsboro from Florida I haaate it coz I don't know anyone here. I'm S. AFRICAN and making friends in this state is the hardest. Thanks for the video I'll be keeping myself busy for a while.
Katina Hoffman I did! Everything is exactly how it was described here. I love it here. Still got plenty more to check out but definitely worth the change of scenery
Katina Hoffman it’s worth it. Virtually no traffic, overall cheaper cost of living, much cheaper gas, better schools. And if you include Durham, Chapel Hill into the mix? The area is just as big as Phoenix metro.
that bass and horn sample....so serene. Need to visit Raleigh haven't been in years. Always go to Charlotte those parks look really cool. Thx for the tour guide.
Alot has changed www.kanereality.com www.visitraleigh.com Glenwood South district, Fayetteville st warehouse district I promise you you will see a new Raleigh when you come back
!!!! Are you Sarah the Instrumentalist? I've heard the Pullen Park song before on other channels and I never thought I'd stumble upon you by accident. I love your music. 😁 Btw thank you for the Raleigh video. We are forced to move and I hope to make North Carolina our new home.
You definitely bring flavor to everthing you do. Travel logs, beat making, maintaining a healthier you. What's next making beats in Singapore, France, Norway? Im in too see you next to Eiffel tower drinking tea and making beats. As always love your work.
Great content. Love your vibe and the way you showed love to the artist at the end of the clip for a reasonable amount of time. Dope. Hope to experience Raleigh and Charlotte before the end of the year
My first love is from there (you all know how that turned out lol) and I stayed with her over the weekend. It’s chill af out there compared to atlanta where we all just got to be turnt up for no F’ing reason. I think adderall is in our water but I loved it there wasn’t as country as I thought it would be tho.
I was in the Raleigh, Chapel hill and Durham North Carolina area for work in 2016. By far the best place I worked in the south. I loved the area and won't mind going back there at all. The only thing that was hard on me was the time change ( I'm from Utah also a beautiful state ) gained two hours, wasn't use to it but other then that I love the area.
This video was very informative kinda like an insiders guide, it offered me a great local perspective as i am looking to relocate in the next 3 months. Its great to see what the city was like outside of covid
Love this. We are looking forward to relocating in the next year or two. We've hit most of these places already but still a couple more boxes to check. Great job and thank you!
i loved this! i didn’t even know about the food hall, or the movie on the lawn thing and i live about 30 minutes away. THANK YOU!!!! i’m always looking for something to do, people in NC always complain about not having anything to do when all you’ve gotta do is look around a little bit and find fun gems like these. thank you so much!
Sarah you brought me back with Pullen Park, wow... I remember that as a kid.. I may have to visit for the sake of it next time I end up in Raleigh. Im down with Frankies as well, loved there slick track. Lived near RTP off Leesville so that was the spot.
I didn't know that's where you lived. I was looking to moving there with my family since Cali is sucking the life of us. The three things I was looking for was the "real" hip hop scene, bboy scene, and skate parks. It's still in my list of place to move. Nice beats btw.
I lived in Raleigh for 3 years and it is a family City for sure. Don't forget to try Dames Chicken and Waffles, Beasley's, cook outs, and The Pit BBQ, just to name a few great eateries.
Honestly this video actually made me want to visit Raleigh again. I fell outta love with Raleigh last time I visited. It doesn't feel anything like it use to. :( it's too many transplants but this video got me hyped lol
#1 Thing to do in Raleigh..... Get in tha whip n' come see my in Asheville, girl. I played disco in the 70's, mod in the 80's, funky breaks/rave in the 90's. Tried dubstep in the 00's and finally landed in 110BPM Ghetto Funk/Electro Swing. My love since day 1 has always been trip hop n' inst. hip hop. Come hang out with some chill DJ's. We'll grab some veggie pho and green tea before hitting the local fire jam for some tunez! I bet we could even find a spot for your board n' gear at the DJ table. Luv!
I'm also working on an international music festival to be held in a couple years at an undisclosed location in the Pacific. I've loved watching you over the past few months w/ the whole Will Smith thing. It made me smile... a lot. How would you feel about doing some traveling in a couple years? Big things for us "country kidz".
