- In last season's shocking and gripping finale, Jesse (Paul) was on the run, with Mike (Jonathan Banks) in hot pursuit, while Walt negotiated for his life with Gus (Giancarlo Esposito). In a desperate attempt to escape certain death, Walt concocted a disturbing plan - kill his former lab assistant Gale - to provide for his and Jesse's safety. The scheme ultimately forced Jesse to Gale's doorstep with a gun while Walt was held hostage in the Superlab. This season, Walt and Jesse must cope with the fallout both personally and professionally. As well, tension mounts as Walt faces a true standoff with his employer, Gus, with neither side willing or able to back down. Walt must also adjust to a new relationship with Skyler (Anna Gunn), whom while still reconciling her relationship with Walt, is committed to properly laundering Walt's money and ensuring her sister Marie (Betsy Brandt) and an ailing Hank (Dean Norris) are financially stable.

Man you know Gus is nuts when Mike is surprised
lol he pointed a gun hahaha
Mike pointed the gun at the other guy, not Gus... In case he overpowered Gus...
@@YaNoAwantoMas No, he definitely pointed it at Gus, if for no other reason than shock and awe, as kind of a Pavlovian response. The reason I know this is because, seconds later, you can see he's put the gun back down.
Cynical Gaming mike didn’t know victor was a primary suspect in Gail murder though only Gus because he got connections yeah it caught mike off guard but Gus is very cautious that’s why Jessie or Walt didn’t die there Jessie didn’t get seen
EliminatedByeLOL Mike knew victor was seen, he asked him when he got back from giligans. Mike was just surprised he killed him and especially in that way.
Mike was the only one on the show who always saw right through walter’s manipulation tactics
And he wasn't able to see when Walter played on him showing that in a bizarre way, Walter was above all of them.
then he finished him off
except he didnt, and thats why he died
That's why he told Saul in BCS to drop Walter as a client
Skyler saw it too, and Jesse started to see it more and more every episode.
It’s a common theme in the show that Walt is a lightweight drinker and always does something stupid when he drinks.
ProfessionalSheetPoster it’s a common theme that you’re always a low iq fucktard.
Its a common theme ppl on the internet are over aggressive morons ^^
Baby Blue true ayo fuck Rob2086 more like Rob 208dicks
Plus pain pills and cancer. Not a good combo
Bruuuh without that stupid act he would've gotten away with everything...no one would've even died lol
7:20
The exact moment Walt signed his warrant. He could've shut up, and Hank would have dropped the investigation.
Walt's ego was getting so big at this point, he couldn't just let someone else get credit for being "Heisenberg" right in front of him...
Somebody in the comment section pointed out that it would be a "a theme" on breaking bad that walt can´t handle alcohol, not even small amounts and always says something stupid when he´s drunk. It´s definetly the ego + being drunk. Honestly, If somebody copied my work and everyone talked about how genius that person is, I would be pissed to. Maybe not blow my cover in front of a DEA, but I wish Skyler would have said something like "enough about work, let´s talk about some cute shit about the baby" or whatever, because I couldn´t listen to Hank destroying Walt :/
it didnt matter in the end though. he didnt get walt through his investigation, it was by mere chance with that book
But the Meth was still flowing. Hank would have known it wasn't Gale soon enough
@@annajansen6945 I feel the same way about not getting the credit, but at the same time it should be a huge flex because everyone is calling him a super genius even if they think it's Gale
0:55
I love how mike just instinctively points his gun out of shock hahahah
manifestgtr i think he was trained to Take out his guns whenever gus is in a conflict
Even Tho gus was killing the man
He was aiming at the other guy, in case he overpowered Gus.
Yeah he pointed it straight at the action out of shock he acted that really well, he wasn't pointing it at gus or victor just at the violence sudden thing happening
@@YaNoAwantoMas He was most certainly not aiming for the other guy. He took his gun out from pure shock, but he had no intent of firing it. Mike was very shaken by this, which is why he ends up drinking at a bar afterwards. His boss had done an evil thing, but he was still his boss and knew he had to go back to work the next day.
@@Korijenkins1414 goodtime for a drink
0:56 I like how Mike has a genuine flight or fight response. He didn’t need to point his gun it’s just seem like such a natural way to respond. This show goes the extra mile in detail.
He still has his old Military/Police instincts
Notice the "Danger Corrosive" sign right above walt. Brilliant!
Whoever decided to start uploading this format of highlights of each season, you're a genius. Props to you! :)
We got the real heigsenberg over here
Genius? Not so much
True
@@soulreaverable glad that 20 people recognised this particular line, my friend!
Maybe the official channel? 🤪
Mike has one expression and one expression only at all times. "I'm too old for this shit"
Something between "Waltuh" and "Put __________"
Miyke cood beet yew uhp
Gus is like if business had a human form
search for the video "gus fring man as corporation"
Oh you mean citizens United? "Corporations are people" according to the U.S. government it's fucked up even tho I know you were just trying to make an analogy!
@@josephleonard6695 yes that video is really good! I love the take
quite literally a “cut throat” kinda guy ami right
@@cjniday lolz u r RITE
I like how Mike reacted to the attack, he knew what kind of man Gustavo was, but even he was surprised how vicious Gus could be
3%ers are a bunch of garbage racist thugs
@@DavidGarcia-oi5nt That's not what he was talking about
You are a racist
Whats bittersweet about walt telling hank that his genius may still be out there is the fact that Hank truly did admire Walt and held him in such a high regard that he was inspired to keep pushing at it. It got him discovered but the fact that the writing in this show was so well nuanced is exceptional
Ok, that scene 3:08 to 5:37 -- stuff like *THIS* is why people need to give Skyler more credit! Even Walt didn't stick it to Bogdan as good as Skyler did!
i completely agree!!! skyler is mad smart
but she is boring
i’m a skylar defender for life
You find out your partner is a literal drug dealer, of course you’re gonna fear for you and your family’s safety. But everyone seems to act like she’s crazy
@@fixtureofthesun at least people like you and me know better
@@fixtureofthesun I defend skylar on everything except the cheating
Hank: stops hunting Heisenberg
Walt: and I took that personally
perfectly explained
Jesus if walter hadn't let his pride control his emotions he would have gotten his money buy the car washes and enjoy the money with his family
And he would be in jail because Jesse would’ve ratted him out if Walt hadn’t partnered with him again in season 3
Yellow White True, but he only ratted towards Hank and Steve Gomez, not the police
Jessie and Walter's loyalty to each other is the weapon gus cannot unarmed
Jesse loyal to Walt? You should watch the second half of season 5.
@@31redorange08 he's talking about this point in the story, at this point Jesse was full loyal to Walter as he saved him numerous times and got in hot water with Gus for that.
Ooh they did unarmed, but Walt manipulated jessie by poisoning brook
Loyalty? More like manipulation lol
Everytime i watch a clip i feel like wanting to watch the entire show all over again
It's too emotionally taxing
@@DavidGarcia-oi5nt the first time yes but then the 2nd 3rd time no cuz u already know whats going to happen.
I was watching clips yesterday and looked at my girl and great now I gotta watch this series again. She said I'm down so where goes our free evenings for a bit
God help me I need to get a life: I’ve watched BrBa 9 times and BCS 6 times 😂😁 they’re so good though
“Learn to take yes for an answer Walter” - called back when Walt is talking to Lydia the following season. Always new details I never noticed before. Clearly the best show ever made.
walt's arrogance and ego gets the suspicion right back on him again
Dude jesses stare at Gus after the boxcutter incident was so amazing to see. He has been broken by so many different traumatic instances already that instead of being fearful and giving gus the reaction he wanted, he just stared him down with genuine divine rage yet acknowledgment of how dangerous he is
I feel like this loyalty Walt showed to Jesse in the first clip was entirely genuine. A lot of people like to say that Walt only ever manipulated Jesse, and he definitely manipulated him at times, but that's realistic. People always manipulate others to make gains. Jesse dying would've hurt Walt. He doesn't WANT bad things for Jesse, but he does want the best outcomes for himself, and if Jesse is sometimes thrown under the bus, not killed, for Walt to be in a better position, he takes it.
Mike being surprised is one of the best moments of the series
Walt couldn’t tolerate anybody else being called a genius!
Yeah his pinky flinched
@@MICROKNIGHT3000😂
was anyone else basically re-watching the entire series and saw this was the last video
I didn't get u.. why was this the last video?
@@fairshare2099 because there is no next part yet of this uploads
YES lol
oh wow, i was doing this. done with this video, reading comments and now im sad.
Anyone watching these in preparation for El Camino?
Yaaaas
It's me it's me it's me!
Luis Renteria Exactly what I’m doing
You know it's serious when even Mike is shocked
This may be the only time in the entire Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul universe that you see Mike flustered/surprised.
I love how Jesse looks at Gus defiantly right after killing his own man.
Right... No fear... Just a level gaze
Jesse had just shot Gale in the face, he didn’t care
I love how Skylar succeeding at her negotiating shook Walter's ego so much that he just haaaaad to drunkenly dunk on Gayle (what a mediocre chemist!) and Hank (you thought mediocrity was genius!) and extoll his own virtues.
His ego and esteem issues prompted him to turn down the financial aid in S1, thus starting his journey towards a meth empire. While he physically evolved and his outward personality went from meek to menacing, he never really showed true emotional growth.
Quite gut-wrenching yet satisfying to see such a fixable yet untreated flaw prove to be the catalyst for his own downfall.
I just noticed why gus killed victor because victor was the primary suspect in Gail murder if you never find the suspect the murder goes unsolved even though victor knew Walt cook he wasn’t being cautious and got seen Jessie didn’t or Jessie would’ve died to
Eh. Prime suspect is not even the primary reason. It's that Victor stepped out of line trying to cook. It's one thing that Gus has to deal with Jesse and Walt being uncontrollable... but now Victor is going rogue too? No. Gus needed to show he is the one who has leverage in the end, not them.
I think gus killed him to show Jesse and walt that no one matters to him he will kill both of them if he really has to
All of the above
Walt the typa dude to close the fridge door with his hips
I remember watching that last scene for the first time and I was so annoyed Walt didn't just keep his mouth shut and I knew that he just signed his own death warrant.
Victor’s death is surprising, but calculated by Gus. Victor left his car at Gale’s and was spotted by the residents there entering the crime scene. That’s why Gus killed him, with the intention of cutting loose ends and intimidating Walt and Jesse about even his most loyal henchman is not safe if made mistakes. However, what’ll happen if instead Victor spotted Jesse before entering Gale’s and throw him into his own car, the story would’ve changed a whole lot…
gus really understands “sangre por sangre”
why did you stop uploading ;-(
Top work with the key moments waiting for some new trivia too keep it up
Its almost the same expression they had when they saw Tuco beat the literal life out of one of his men. Except this scene to me feels like they all truly had pure fear because the calm collected demeanor did a complete 180 and revealed the true psychopath that he is.
Well?...
Get back to work.
Mike you wouldn't hit a guy with glasses would you?
*Mike remembers all the shit Walt just pulled*
2:46:
Skyler: I want to pay less.
Mikes face when Gus slashed Victors neck says it all, for him to even be scared shows how ruthless Gus is
Even mike was scared 😭 pointed the gun at him lmao
The arrogance and the cockiness of Walt in that last scene is amazing. It's like he actually wants to get caught by Hank in that very moment.
If Walter was capable of taking yes for an answer none of this would have happened.
The box cutter scene was sooooo good
@Long Nards he was seen at the crime scene
@Long Nards he left evidence at the murder of Gale, seen by the other residents there and they could link him back to Gus.
I hated watching that shit it hurt to watch
It made me squeamish 🤢
When I saw that even Mike got frightened, I immediately knew what to think of this scene
I thought it was interesting how Mike pointed his gun when Gus got Victor, he raised it out of instinct and surprise with no intention but a response to danger
8:23 Walt... why🤦♂️
Because he liked it. Because he was good at it. Because he was really alive.
Mad stuff lads, well done
1:07 Congratulations, you managed to scare Mike.
Didn’t expect that at all from gus, thought he was too professional to do that
How to assert dominance
Step 1). *Slit Throat and maintain eye contact*
2:13 Besides the death of Don Eladio, this is legit my favourite scene in the whole show
When mike pulls his gun you truly know he cares for his guys more than anything
love how they make Mike show his first reaction as pointing the gun at Gus, he's always with his fella men.
Skyler was so smart she could’ve built a better criminal enterprise
Cap she was a bookkeeper
Simp
Bit of an exaggeration but if she was in on it from the beginning keeping her walt in check they’d all be better off. That’s no fun though.
You can tell that he was insane from the very beginning and giving that chills feeling.
No wonder I didn’t trust the dentist.
After watching the scene where Mike gives Nacho a glass of alcohol before he had to "make it look real".
Mike insisting that Walter drinks his drink before he beats him at the bar is hilarious
I’m not sure what you mean. How does alcohol make it look real?
@thomasfoster1181 No, it read my comment again, the alcohol is for Nacho to feel less pain because Mike doesn't want to hurt him
Mike is warning Walter to drink up before he beats him up
You know shit gets real when you even scare Mike.
LoL Mike's reaction is priceless didn't focused on that first time i watched it too gore to see anything else.
I never saw it before but when Gus cut the dude's throat, Mike actually points his gun at Gus.
that last scene is all ego, that was Walts ultimate downfall
It must have been a thrill for all the actors and crew involved with this series to know they were achieving something miraculous. By the end, it was a worldwide phenomenon.
“Because I want to pay less”
Gus just showed mike no half measures
That last scene at the dinner table... walt should be happy that all the blame is now directed towards a man that is dead and maybe the investigation will now come to a standstill... but hank's words hurt his ego and he makes a happy relaxed dea agent think and doubt himself...maybe making him think to start the investigation all over again.. such brilliant writing and such a fantastic portrayal by bryan cranston..!!
"Hank, not to tell you your business, but you wouldn't know a genius if he was close enough to check you for a hernia."
Man oh man i freakin love this damn show...not only is it brilliantly written & acted it is also incredibly thought provoking as well...from Walts lose of humanity, to even Jesses choice in the women he falls in love with....i mean Jesse always plays the hero role when the opportunity arises...whether it was trying to save his girlfriends brother ect...Jesse, regardless that he cooks meth, has always been a gentle soul. He never wants to hurt anyone and the only time he does is when he is forced to and him n Walt are backed into a corner so by saving and helping others he feels like he can redeem himself and is free to be who he truly is in those acts. All in all this show is fucken incredible! Not many shows are so wonderfully written and acted that as a veiwer u get sucked in to each character and as the seasons progress and the main characters change, in a way u change with them.
Gus Fring, still the scariest character I’ve ever. Period.
Best season in my opinion
@ 8:39 hank Is like self telling on yourself to get the trace back on face
Giancarlo was great in 80’s Miami Vice and Usual Suspects!!!...
Metal Head 420 and do the right thing.
Usual Suspects?
burnlastsunday
He was the detective asking questions when they were pulling bodies out of the bay and asking the guy in the hospital questions...
Damn that's right.
I love the fact that Walt almost vomits while Jessy leans forward
0:55 the one time Mike was scared in any season!!
Apparently this was the season that really helped the show take off. I’m sure it’s common knowledge among breaking bad fans but it wasn’t to me at first. It blows me away that it was almost canceled because the first three seasons hardly anybody watched it.
0:54 I always cover my throat at this point.
Even Mike is subdued and awed by Fring's actions.
Skyler kept waiting for the eye contact with Walt to request for "Shut Up"
Howard and Lalo just watching this underneath with a big bag of popcorn
Skyler is an incredible character, never understud the hate on her
Because people loved Walt, plus the interactions with Skyler got really old early on. In real life people would understand her.
I believe she was written in a way to be a "bitchy" character, so that people have someone to hate, but then her life starts to get more and more tragic, and we start to sympathize with her, and simultaneously antagonize the mentally deteriorating Walt. I rewatched it, and found myself feeling bad for Skyler when she got dragged into the whole money laundering mess.
agreed
The show is based around Walt, it makes sense that people see things from his side and perceive Skyler as an obstacle at least the first time you watch.
0:53 Even Mike was shocked in the backgroung
Make the next parts, please!
I feel like in that drinking scene, Walter thought he was on a Bond film or something😂
I am not the danger. I am in danger.
Give some update about the upcoming movie please i am really impatient !!!!!!
Yeah that Gus sure takes care of his guys
I wonder why mike didn't tell Gus what Walt was wanting to do with him?
Rest In Peace Victor
I feel sorry for mike he is a nice person
6:27 poor old mike
Walter s ego Made hank get back on the case
That was stupid as hell
Hank's tongue when he's acting cocky always grosses me out.
07:18 Shut up, Walt. Just shut up. Yet ANOTHER moment when Walt's Ego ruined a moment of peace. If he shut up in this scene, multiple people stay alive.
“I do NOT work with junkies.”
4:54 He said it!
This season was really fucking good
5:05 with subtitles:where is my father💀
I Have Been Around Enough High School Chemistry Students To Know That Heisenberg Is In This Very Room
my one complaint is that when you throat is cut there is more gargling then gasping
90% of the hair in season 4 was owned by Skyler. 80% of the rest was owned by Walt's goatee.
Fallacies, fallacies
