It works great acoustic or with a full band. I love the F major to F minor during the bridge, total beatles. I hope you do more Oasis in the future. The haters will always hate Oasis for being too ”simple”, but honestly that’s the strangest type of criticism to give them. They play Pop-Rock music? Did people really expect them to shred constantly and play 7/8 beats in their songs? It’s POP MUSIC.
Also just because the parts are ”simple” it does NOT mean that it’s easy to write. Coming up with great hooks and writing as great melodies as Noel did is a really underated ability that alot of famous musicians hasn’t even come close doing.

My 16th birthday, I received 1. My first (and only) acoustic guitar 2. Alanis Morrisette cd, Jagged Little Pill 3. Oasis piano/guitar music book for (What's The Story) Morning Glory. Best Birthday Ever! I tried learning Noel's solo in Don't Look Back In Anger...of course, I couldn't do it ☹ This song is so yummy!

Thanks so much for doing Oasis Rick! They are such a huge inspiration to me and Noel Gallagher’s songwriting is worth to be dissected and analyzed. Genius song writing!

The thing about Oasis is, they may not be high class musicians but many of their songs are rock solid.
Little by little, Champagne supernova, Let there be love, Supersonic, Whats the story etc.
And Noels Solo stuff is also pretty decent.

A very underrated band I think.

This is hands down my favorite song to play on guitar. All the little licks all the little fills the solo I just love it. And I love the way that you broke it down.

A person who basically has no knowledge of music (like me) would not recognize what is going on. What I do recognize is that it is a great song. By explaining it makes the piece even more interesting and ... understandable. I never realized how complicated this music was until now. But that is why I am a listener and not a musician I guess. Thanks, it was very enlightening. I am looking forward to more in the future.

I hear heavy hints of “Pachelbel‘s Canon” and “Let It Be” in the progression but that’s just my ear. I was not familiar with tune prior.

Faraz Jafari, not familiar with John Legend but the 1-4 progression is prevalent throughout pop music, ie: “Feelin Alright”, “Can’t Always Get What You Want”, “Melt With You” to name a few. Great progression for doing ‘mosh-ups’!
