I am always impressed to see the bottom after every wash using those Grit Guards.

I used a rinseless wash and a microfiber towel to clean my dirty baseboards in the bathroom. The amount of icky stuff in the bottom of the bucket proved to me how affective the grit guard worked as the water above the guard was clean.

Those grit guards are garbage. Plenty of unbiased videos on UA-cam that show how little they do. Just another car detailing gimmick. The only ones that sort of separate the dirt are those that seal against the sides of the bucket and have small holes that funnel the dirt down.
Much more effective to just have a clean bucket full of clean rags that you only use once per wash.
