Good catching up and excited for this year's Jump Street Podcast. Couple of guests I don't think have been on yet: Ian Mcleod, Vinny Minton, Will Gordon (don't know if he still skates?) and Michael Braud.
Absolutely agree is a great thing to celebrate and motivate quality skating, and that doesn’t negate the efforts and amazing accomplishments of those who are learning
First of all: Welcome Back Guys 🥳 Then first I thought Flanell is better but when it's really shiny it catches more of the attention that's not good 😅 And the take of the violation/style part.: You both motivated me twenty some years to got skating because of style and great tricks 🔥 you are idols for me these days too. I always like an easy trick in style more then a big one. I try to talk to my friends when I see something can be better. Some style try or some better landings. And most people are happy to hear. I am so much critical of my own skating that I wanted to be "perfect" for what I can do. And it's like sagona says..our master of style: it's the roll, the jump, the execution and the landing..that's why I love rollerblading so much. It's one of the most stylish sports ever. And we all want to be better I guess. Just my two cents 🫶🏼
Guests I would love to see, Dustin Halleran, Murda back again. The New York friendship made this my favourite ep to date. Vinny Minton as another legend to add to the list and Marius Gaille from the current would be sick. Also I would love to hear from more filmers/photographers. I bet they have so many stories!
Speaking for all lumberjacks out there, if the flannel is fresh or atleast doesn’t smell like blood and bar oil I’d say show up to the wedding! Had mfs show up to my wedding in carhartt overalls fresh out the train yard!
That’s a tough one between the White tee vs the Red Flannel 😂 but the Red flannel isn’t it. I’d rather my boy rock a fresh clean White tee so I can lend him a jacket to put over if needed.
Regarding guests, my top answer is Jon Elliott--he's literally the first thing you see in every Jump Street episode! I am guessing he's just kinda done with skating and the industry, which is a shame, because few people have had such a huge (and positive) impact. There are things he did 25 years ago in Brain Fear Gone that still haven't been touched, not to mention transforming Razors and starting GC. The other two giant influences that haven't been on yet are DL and Shane Coburn. I'm encouraged that Shane was in the Sunday Brunch video and donated to the SOTY pool, so maybe he's working his way back in. And then for the photo nerd in me, and because they are the shit, Brian Konoske and Keith Wilson. If you're looking at one of those amazing "golden age of skating" photos, there's a good chance one of those guys shot it. Lastly, the wild card is Beau Cottington. He could be insufferable now, but I don't know if anyone ever had a better eye for how to film something, what to put in/leave out of a video, and how to edit it.
And my skaters will be ..Alex browskow , eugin enin , David Sizemore , Vinny Minton , franky morales , everybody from b-unique , soichiro kanashima , some of the Brazilian guys plus way more but that’s I can think of right now
Great episode. Enjoyed hearing the perspectives on skater of the year and really appreciate the kind words. We can make 2025 big
you guys are the best
waiting for that game of skate!
Watching these always motivates me to skate 🔥🙏
Love hearing both of your perspectives! See you guys around this year!!
For guests: Dustin Latimer, Alex Broskow, Pat Lennon, Jon Elliott, Rob Thompson again, Champion Baumstimler.
Yes, I am showing my age with this list.
Yeah you are. For me instead of Dylan, Dylan,Dylan...
It's Dunkle,Dunkle,DUNKLE... spittin' Dat hot fire.

Rockillaz stand up 😂

thats exactly it
Austin's idea of a watch party for new edits is great. You guys should do a live stream watch party session, maybe monthly or something.
Killin' the spiel game. It's 2025, we've seen the button by now and don't need to be reminded to "hit" it
Guests I want to see on: don bambrick, Franco cammayo, Adam Johnson, Sean darst, brandon smith, Bolino (again), Sizemore, Danny beer, broskow
Great List!
Franco is a must!!!!The 3 kings of shaolin!!
Adam Johnson is my first vote
Pancho on the cast would be epic!

Great to see you guys back 🎉🎉 I really enjoyed this discussion
Great to see Austin and Billy back
My friend turned up to my wedding with a white T and a dinner jacket. It was a bold look but he pulled it off. Just… 😂
Excellent episode guys.
thanks for watching!

thanks for the shoutout guys!
Great chats and awesome to see your back ❤
Get Sizemore on for sure! Would absolutely love to see Jon Elliot on but that’s a shot in the dark
Get it to 30 G’s plus & Billy is gonna go hard all year & win it
a good friend does not let you roll a topside ;)
Billy has got Mr. Bill in the back!!!!
money = blood in the water = increased content = what blading needs
Jonathan Bergeron, Mathieu Heinemann, Neou Men, Robert Lievanos, Sven Boekhorst, Santiago Azpurua, Eric Schrijn, Bj Bernhardt...I could go on...
I would almost laugh if I saw a white tee, like it’s so ridiculous it’s funny, but I’d be pissed if I saw a red flannel
LongHair Billy Made My 25!

Also I’d rock flannel at a wedding
In Hong Kong people just rock up to weddings in t-shirts and jeans or Nike pants, running Sneakers. Look like they just went for a run.
Imma need Josh Letona in here one day.

& Chris Cheshire & will gordon & tell murda to come back for a while !
I totally understand the prail thing
I’m a red flannel man at a wedding too. White tee is too informal
Think Kevin Gillian would ever come on?
Skater of the year really matches view count on YT. Compare Sean’s reflect section has 90k+ views while Cudot never has more than 10/15k
White T, for sure.
Jimmy who?
Jimmy Cisz !
Shuda?? He had new section out last year
@@rollforever85 must be the guy above. Would have known shuda
@@cdifff643 just realised they mentioned two Jimmy’s. One who invented a bunch of tricks and one who had a new edit released in 2024 😅
