Great video and great fish! I just subscribed….I started my own UA-cam fishing channel a couple of months ago and I really enjoyed your video. Keep up the good work!
Lol. You're at the wrong fort. Across the bay, fort wetherill in James town. I may have said fort Adams in reference that it was across the bay in Newport. I've heard good fishing at fort Adams also, but haven't fish it myself yet. This video is at wetherill.
Squid early then they hit clams more and harder later in the day. But definitely use smaller hooks and smaller chunks. The bad thing about clams, is they can strip the hook pretty quick.
Unfortunately I could not tell you. I had to go to two different places. 1 for bait, another for hooks and weights. The circle hooks and weights were loose in a bucket, not packaged. The weights are 2 oz and 3 oz. I bought the smaller sized circle hooks. The J hooks are regular fresh water snelled bait holders.
I see you my boy you doing your thing on them dam fish great job and keep the videos coming
Plan to keep them coming. But for right now, we went back to cold and rainy. Seasons don't start opening up until mid-April.

Jamestown Rhode Island
I know this place I used to go at night time to catch squid and strippers ☺️
I was going to stay on day 2, but a really bad storm hit. I am hoping for one more trip down there before the weather starts turning too cold.
Small skate throw it back and don't kill it !!!!!
I don't kill them. But down in Florida we removed the stingers from them before trying to get the hook out . The stingers grow back.
Exact location please
This was a fort wetherill
Fort Adam park
Fort Adam is next on my list. Hopefully one more saltwater trip before winter.
