I played one of these at Martin HQ and it sounded incredible… an absolute tidal wave of sparkling warm sound out of a guitar that begged you to hit it as hard as you wanted!

I once learnt that when recording with 2 mics the second one should have at least three times the distance to the instrument as the closer mic. Have you tried that? That will avoid interferences that may erase some frequencies when combining the 2 sources. But the guitar sounds fine and the KM184 are a good choice I think. I am a big fan of your guitars and hopefully I can visit your shop next year.

When was the last year for the D12-28 12-string?
I just bought a new one 4 months ago so they're still for sale.
Fine guitar. Well played. I am lucky enough to own the 50th anniversary D35 12 fret 12 string with VTS top. If you imagine putting a grand piano on its side, wrapping your arms around it and playing, that is what the D35 sounds like. I play it in open D, 1 semi tone down…. Dylan’s Shelter From The Storm is incredible. Even when I play it!
